This location is the best. We found this location by luck. My husband had been diagnosed on December 23 with cancer. In January we had to be in Portland to see the surgeon at OHSU, so we didn't have a whole lot of time to look for a place to stay & be comfortable. When we arrived, staff was very friendly & the facility was very nice (I almost thought I went to the wrong place) & our boys love the pool. After his 1st appointment with OHSU, we knew that we would be coming back for more appointments. It is not far from the OHSU Pavilion where his Head/Neck Cancer provider is located and not far from OHSU where surgery would take place. So now that we have been into this journey since January, we have stayed at this location numerous times & we have a request for a certain room (which they have always tried to accommodate us. Now that a lot of the staff know our story, they are all very compassionate and caring. Thank you Comfort Inn & Suites in Tualatin for having an awesome establishment

Let me start by saying that I have never been treated so poorly as I was tonight at the Motel 6 in Tigard. I really hope that what happened to me was an anomaly and not the Motel 6 way of doing business. I travel all over the country working in dog sports and have stayed in many hotels in the last 12 years. I am currently traveling with my service dog of the last 7 years, a service dog in training, and a pet dog and have never had a single problem. My dogs are extremely well behaved, frequently groomed, seasoned travelers and I have never had difficulty with any hotel accommodating my service animal. When I attempted to check in to your hotel, the front desk clerk was extremely rude to me because your policy says two pet dogs are allowed. I explained to her that a service animal is exempt from this policy by ADA law because it is not a pet, it is a necessary medical device. Immediately, she got very aggressive with me and accused me of lying. She demanded I provide proof in the form of a service dog certification. I explained to her that those cards she was referring to are off Amazon and not official. Normally, I do have one but as my dog gear was stolen last weekend from an event venue, along with $3,000 worth of equipment, I do not have his badge or even his vest, which I explained to her. In addition, when I told her if it was going to be an issue I’d go, but I would have to report the ADA violation, she decided to call her manager. The manager told her to rent me the room, I suspect because she didn’t care enough to learn the law. Then, the clerk picked up the receiver, said uhuh a couple times and ok and hung up. Then, she proceeded to tell me she would rent the room to me but they were also going to put me on the “do not rent” list and charge me $150 if there was any fur whatsoever in the room. I explained to her again that they were violating ADA law and I would be reporting it. She then told me she wouldn’t rent me the room if I was going to report them. When I left, I told her that it didn’t have to be like this, and she responded by saying, “yes it did because you’re lying. “ and I walked out the front door at that point. I have reported the incident to U.S. Department of Justice for discriminating against me based on disability. I strongly urge your company to take the time to educate all of your employees on ADA law, especially if you plan on being the “pets stay free” hotel which will attract those of us who have service animals as well as pet dogs. Brief summary of violations: 1. Applied “pet” rules to a service animal 2. Demanded proof of service animal certification 3. Refused service based on presence of service animal 4. Promised to penalize me if I stayed the night with my service animal 5. Accused me of “lying” about my service animal 6. Refused service to me because I would be reporting the discrimination I sincerely hope Motel 6 is as dismayed by the staff at this branch as I am. It is important to know

This hotel has the normal breakfast and a comfortable bed, and it’s clean. Sadly the room I’m in, needs maintenance and replacement of frayed items. The shower curtain is ripped in several places, the desk chair is terribly worn, the sink is cracked, and there’s peeling paint above the sink backsplash. There’s a long crack in the wall next to the tub. They seem short on staff at the front desk. I know COVID has impacted everything, but they’re charging full price for a place that seems to be barely making it.

Great staff, friendly and polite. coffee was really good, just wish that the breakfast area was not being renovated and had a better option than McDonalds coupons for breakfast and that horrible McDonalds coffee. Healthier option would have been nice. the inhouse coffee was good too.

The hotel is conveniently located in the popular area of Lake Oswego in Portland's affluent area. There is a Hunan Chinese restaurant next to the key, and the taste is ok! The hotel breakfast is relatively rich, the Chinese stomach can adapt! The surrounding environment is good! Worth staying!

We were in Portland visiting our daughters, and booked a downtown hotel for the stay. It was frightful. Cars broken into everyday, no maid service, although it had Spa in the name, no spa, filthy rooms I was ready to give up on ever finding great Customer service again. It doesn’t matter the nightly rates, whether it was a $400.00 resort or a 100 dollar one, CS is missing all over the US. . Well that’s all in the past. THE EMPLOYEES AND OWNER need to be commended at the Hilton. At every point of our stay, (after checking out of the frightful hotel) the employees not only were there to help but the hotel is spotless. From Kiara at the front desk, to our helpful waitress at breakfast Sarah, to the fantastic bartender. THIS HOTEL has not used the pandemic to lower their standards, they in fact set the bar for all hotels. Take care of your employees so they in turn want to take care of your guests and property. AWESOME!
