The property is old, reception lobby is dull, small basic swimming pool but the gym is decent. Breakfast restaurant (Market 39) setting is packed with tables to maximise seating capacity. Breakfast spread offers varieties but the food quality is merely average. An aged property does not necessarily equate to ”old charm” if it's not well maintained. Overall this hotel not live up to the standard of usual IC properties. Will not recommend.

Beautiful environment, good location, convenient transportation, especially close to the airport, comfortable and hygienic room, willing to provide all kinds of help, rich breakfast. The facilities are very user-friendly, the network high-speed signal is good, and the scenery outside the window is good. However, I did not send you a one-bedroom apartment for others. I had tossing several times during the meeting, but there was still no order. I said that I could change it at the front desk, but the result was still not good.

Located right smack in the middle of District 1. You can walk to Vincom mall in 3min. Opera house is 5min walk away. There’s a few restaurants around the hotel too. Convenience store is around the corner too. The room is big and the kitchen area is great too. For the price and location, I don’t think there’s any better at this range. Will definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at this hotel now for six or seven trips to Ho Chi Minh city. Too small for tour groups, it's blessedly free of the din of many hotel lobbies and breakfast rooms. One steps into calm. The breakfast is not a buffet, but there is a western and VN choice. Take the VN. The pho is excellent--I highly recommend the chicken--as is the fruit that comes with. And of course the caphe sua da, though I think one can also get hot coffee. Some rooms have larger windows and better views. There are little ”flaws.” I could never get enough hot water. (I think I didn't know how to work the heater.) Faucets, etc. may be a bit out of alignment. Still this is my favorite hotel. Also, very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to cathedral, even market (maybe 15-20 minutes)

The hotel rooms are relatively small and some rooms are older. The breakfast buffet is better than last year. This price is okay in the first county. Although paying via Ctrip, the front desk will ask for a small deposit because there is a minibar in the room.

Amazing hotel! The decoration is mesmerizing, with very refined taste. Hotel staff was professional and helpful; they were very kind and upgraded our room. We arrived late and the hotel restaurant was already closed. People at the reception kindly helped us to order from outside. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The rooftop jacuzzi pool area is eye catching. We will definitely go back!

We walk to Ben Thanh market as it is. Japanese foods, convenience stores and massages are nearby, and the spa gallery in front of you can go up the stairs, but the technique was good for both facial and body. Breakfast is also delicious ^ ^ The porridge was very delicious. Even if the staff did not understand Japanese, such as what the staff did not understand, it was kind to listen to the staff who was absent from the rest and understand a little Japanese! Ao dai rental is only thick cloth and I do not like the pattern and ordered at the market (delivery to the hotel for 3500 yen, the trace of chako pen was so hard to wash my hands), but if you like it you can borrow several types (O (I forgot the price) The room is not large but beautiful, and you can take a half bath because there is a bathtub. I have to lie down to warm my shoulders lol Water pressure and temperature are adjustable, so ◎ There is a dryer, toothbrush, shower cap, cotton swab, comb, shampoo, rinse, and body soap.

Overall the service and rooms were pretty good, however there was a little embarrassing moment at check-in when they asked the me to write down on paper the name of my girlfriend when she was already on the booking. They proceeded to tell me that it is okay this time only, but next time I need to book an extra room for my girlfriend. It was really embarrassing and I was actually kind of offended. I won't be paying for an extra room next time just quietly, If I am turned away I will take my business elsewhere.

I'd not stay here again and would recommend against it to anyone. The rooms are rundown and not clean. Lots of little bugs the size of flees - everywhere in our bags and papers. The shower door is missing so the water sprays all over the bathroom. The breakfast is substandard. They also charged us twice which the travel agent is looking into. I suggest going elsewhere even if you have to pay a bit more.

When I first arrived at a&EM art hotel, staff Sally informed our seven people group that some of the room type we booked are sold out, and they will upgrade us to nicer rooms without extra charge. Also, as an apology of the inconvenience caused, Hotel offered free ride to the airport. The whole process is fast and smooth. We are happy with staff Sally’s professional work for us to have good start in our vacation. Also, the bar upstairs is outstanding, can be a very good place for a drink to relax.

I arrived on the 17th December and at first impressions, everything was great. The lady on reception was welcoming and checked me in to my room quickly, even though I had arrived quit a bit earlier than the check in time (I had an early morning flight from Hanoi the same day) my room was ready and I was allowed to go straight up. They had a porter took my large and heavy back up to my room for me, which was great. I only stayed for one night, because the next day I had an early morning flight to Bali. In the evening, around 9:30-10pm, I started getting all my things packed up again, as I had a 5am start the next morning, and I realised my passport was missing. I remember handing it over at reception for them to make a copy, and realised that I hadnt received it back. I headed down to reception to retrieve my passport, and was greeted by a very rude lady - a different person to the one that had greeted me in the morning and been so welcoming to me. When I asked for my passport back, she refused and immediately became unnecessarily agressive, and demanded that I give her money for it before it could be returned to me. She insisted again and asked me for 500,000 VND. I again refused to give her the money, and informed her that she had no right to withhold my passport from me, under any circumstances. I told her to go ahead and make a copy, but that I wasn't leaving reception until I had my passport back. I informed her that I was leaving early in the morning to make an international flight, and it was vital that I have my passport with me so that it isn't lost / misplaced / forgotten. Again, she got even angrier and shouted at me, ”no money, no passport!”. At this point, I certainly wasn't going to back down, but despite her aggression and rudeness, I managed to stay calm and polite during the entire exchange, because I knew she had no legal right to keep my passport. As a long term traveller I'm aware that hotels cannot withhold your passport from you under any circumstances. I informed the woman that the passport was not actually my property, that officially, it belongs to the British Crown - which is true. I also informed her that I was fully aware the foreigners in Vietnam are required to carry photo ID with them at all times, and that the police would be interested to know that my passport was being withheld from me. At that point she realised that she had lost, and literally threw my passport at me and it landed on the reception counter. She then shouted at me, ”Go back to your room!”. I asked her what the problem was, and she literally yelled, ”GO TO YOUR ROOM, GO NOW!” I guess she didn't like the fact that I knew she was wrong and made her look stupid. She knew she was wrong, and I know for a fact that had I needed to get the police to help, they would have certainly made sure she returned the passport to me. A real shame, because the greeting in the morning was lovely, the bag porter was kind and helped me wit

The hotel is located in District 1, belonging to the more prosperous area of Ho Chi Minh, with convenient transportation. However, many of the hotel infrastructure are bad, such as the shower head in the bathroom and the plug for charging the bed, which is not comparable to domestic hotel chains. The most disturbing thing is that when it rains, the window leaks, and the rain seeps directly to the bed. The hotel attendant took a large towel and sucked water on the ground until the rain stopped. It is recommended to be in areas other than Zone 1, such as Zone 5, Zone 7, where you can live in a better hotel for the same price

recommend! Hotel location is very good, service is good, facilities are very new! The room is small, with windows but blocked outside. There is no free electric iron. There are fewer types of breakfast, but the service is particularly good. If we have any questions, please find the front desk or waiter. It is about twenty minutes by car from the airport. It's just a few minutes walk to the Central Post Office, Binjiang Market, etc. Although I arrived in Ho Chi Minh on the New Year's Day, I never expected that Vietnam will also have a Lunar New Year, and all places are closed!

We stayed for four nights at the Roseland Point Hotel. The first night there they put us on the third floor. The windows in the hallway of the third floor open to a brick wall that is the back wall of a night club. The music vibrates all throughout the rooms. It is LOUD. We asked to be moved and they moved us to the 9th floor. You could not hear the music from that floor. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location is fairly central to Ho Chi Minh city. It was a safe area and the staff was very friendly. We would stay there again…just not on the third floor.

Arrived 3 in the morning. The door was locked but was opened after knocking. A great transit hostel in the alley with so many competitive hostels next to each other. I like here because it is cheaper than others and guests are not so noisy like other party hostels around. Also the guests seem to be a little older and mature this time around. The breakfast was good. You can choose from about 3 choices.

Dong Du Hotel is a lovely place. The tiny lobby is clean with welcoming hosts. The entire staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. And each breakfast is cooked to order. This small place is on a relatively quiet street. The location is lovely too. Just a 10 minute walk leads to Norte Dame Square, the historic post office, and Book Street. For a very special treat, cross the street at the hotel and head to a small food cart. Have the noodles. Absolutely delicious!

Advantages: The overall is better and the quality of the service staff is very good. Compared with domestic equivalent hotels, the staff is very polite. The standard twin room is more spacious. Disadvantages: The area is far from the city center and the airport. It is located at the intersection of the main traffic road. When a large truck passes, the noise is relatively loud. For bookings made on Ctrip, the front desk told them to issue invoices on the Internet, the invoices were not known and no invoices have been issued till now. Negotiations.

I don't revel writing this review. I stayed here with my family for several nights in December 2019. It was an awful experience. Unfortunately, the hosts -- whose names I believe are Ruby, and someone else named Kevin who emailed us -- are just not ready to put in the work and/or expense to host guests at their properties. They were not responsive to our concerns about cleanliness or the lack thereof. The apartment, which had high end fixtures, was dirty. Upon arrival late at night, we were first struck by the beautiful city view. The excitement soon faded when we noted the smell of urine in the front bathroom and that the A/C in the living room did not work. We spent 30 minutes cleaning around the toilet until the smell dissipated. We had to climb up onto a chair to turn off the A/C which was blowing hot air as there was no remote. While daily cleaning services are indicated, the housekeeper did not want to clean. She preferred to drop off towels and bottled water, minimally clean, and depart shortly thereafter. She was annoyed when we asked her to sweep to get rid of the two inches of dust bunnies, hair, and old pills that had accumulated under the beds, dressers, curtains, couch, corners, and tables. There was a pervasive smell of mildew every time we opened a drawer or cabinet. The furniture, which was white laminate, had black scuff and crayon marks on almost every surface. The white kitchen counters were also stained. All of the bathroom vents had black lint in the grates. The shower caulking was black in the bottom corners. The washer/dryer on the balcony wreaked of mildew/mold when opened. When we requested hangers to hang our clothes, we received 10 mismatched dirty plastic hangers. The stove hood was so filthy, that after I swiped it the ensuing black tar-like mark on my finger only came off by scrubbing it with soap and water. Again, we had to clean the hood ourselves since the maid noted she could not reach it. Also: all the glass surfaces were streaked, there were finger prints and marks on the white walls, there is no coffee maker, no microwave, and hardly any pots and pans or silverware/kitchen utensils in the kitchen. In addition, the apartment advertises a pool. What they don't tell you is that you will have to give passport copies and finger prints, which will take two days to process with building management (not the hosts). We quickly realized that it was just not worth it. I note that (oddly) there are a number of good reviews for this place on multiple sites with the same canned response from the company. I question their veracity as there is just no way that our apartment was an exception. It was just too neglected. It is my sincere hope that this review will force the company to immediately deep clean their apartments, and if it does not, I would stay away. In conclusion, I would say that Ho Chi Minh is known to have more expensive accommodations. If you are a family who is coming to visit f

This year's Spring Festival holiday in Saigon is near the embassy. It feels quite safe. The epidemic of new crowns has begun to spread later this year, but this hotel is still more polite to Chinese guests. However, when this hotel was just checked in, the order was a bit unclear and the room type was wrong. However, this situation is also common in Vietnam due to some problems in the communication between the waiter's English and Ctrip's English.
