I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, the dust on the toilet paper holder. On the first day of the buffet breakfast, there were a lot of dirty tables, we could hardly sit still, many trays were empty, and there were ants swimming in the reservoir where we supplied water (with photos) I recommend this hotel if the general cleaning service is more efficient as all my complaints are directed at it. ...

The variety of breakfast is very rich, for Samsung Hotel, you can play 10 points. There are Spanish ham, mashed potatoes, rice, and fruits such as pineapple, orange, and white melon. They are all super delicious. There are many kinds of bread, vegetable salad, fried egg, stewed chickpeas, all with delicious. The room is slightly smaller and the common problem in European hotels. Good location, 10 minutes walk from the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor.

Well situated for amenities. Walking distances to the palace, museums, beautiful churches.indoor food market. The hotel was clean. We had the fourth floor.the room had plenty of wardrobe space.a TV limited channels.we listened to our tablets. Free WFI. Bring your own tea bags, kettle, cups and spoons.the hotel dinning room staff not friendly. The breakfast was soo poor it wasn't even a continental breakfast.we had croissant and jam.for breakfast in our room. There's a shop near that does bottles of pure orange juice.their was only one staff member spoke to us. Outside all we heard at night and the middle of night bins getting emptied, dogs barking.bottles crashing in bottle bank.it was a double bed not really two beds pushed together my bed creaked but still comfy. The walls are paper thin. You hear people in the bathroom. The floors are tiled upstairs guest walked around in high heels which was loud and this was before breakfast. The entrance to the hotel was not really inviting the desk area smelt urination. The alley around the hotel also smelt.. apartment from that I enjoyed my trip to Madrid but I won't stay here again.

My friend and I stayed in a studio suite with one double bed and a very large pull out sofa bed. The apartment is equipped with a full, well functioning kitchen. The air conditioning cooled the room nicely as the weather was very hot during the three days we spent in Madrid. There is a small store about one block outside to the left. We were able to grab some essentials around midnight and it held us over until the next day. The area is very bohemian with eclectic shops and lovely little bars everywhere. We woke up Sunday morning anxious to find El Rastro Mercado......you can imagine our delight when we exited the front gate to find the market on our street! It is massive with thousands of merchants and people. The two things I would recommend for the hotel room is a full size mirror and a safe. I am always uneasy leaving valuables in the room and / or taking them with me. In order to catch a taxi, walk two blocks to the left to the intersection of Toledo and you will find many. $7 euros more or less to Plaza Mayor. We fully enjoyed our stay at Urban Ribera and highly recommend. All of my emails were answered extremely fast and the replies were always helpful. Special thank you to Oksana.

Had a nice stay at Le Petit Hostel. It's a short walk from the metro station and restaurants. The rooms are very modern and there's a lot of storage under the beds. The night mode for the lights is so clever so you don't disturb other travellers! I would definitely come back when I'm next in Madrid.

Stayed in 6 different accommodations in Spain. This is the most satisfying one. Of course, I can feel that the attitude of each worker is different, but on the whole, the workers here are more kind. Among them was a girl named Lucia, who was very patient with a computer translation software to introduce the services in the store. She also said that they are available 24 hours a day, and if you have any questions, you can contact them. And smiled at people from beginning to end. She is the hotel where I stayed in Spain. The only staff I saw in the hotel who felt very enthusiastic and I was willing to give full marks. Although this hotel is slightly more expensive than other places, I think it is worth it because of such a worker. I live in a bunk bed in a quadruple room. The beds are relatively comfortable. Close the curtains is a small space for personal privacy. Each bed has sockets and book lights. Breakfast is 5 euros and dinner is 10 euros. But dinner is recommended. Coffee is served free of charge all day. There are other chargeable drinks and alcoholic beverages. It’s also nice to sit and drink in the lounge area on the first floor. Take a 10-minute walk to Puerta del Sol. There is also the San Miguel Market and Plaza Mayor are all a few minutes’ walk away. There are also many places to eat and shop. But don't wander around especially late, drink plenty of drinks around.

Situated within walking distance of most major sites and numerous metro stations this is a great hotel. Clean, nice size room and possessing a great style it is a really nice place to stay. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the place was always packed and the bar was a very nice place to have an end of the day drink. The staff was perfect. Helpful, courteous and friendly in every instance. I was surprised at how quiet it was considering the busy restaurant bar downstairs. We will definitely be revisiting this hotel.

Overall, the price is very high, and the trip is close to the Atocha train station, but it is very tiring to push the suitcase. There are 2 supermarkets near the hotel. It is convenient to buy daily necessities, and it is also near to Lichi Park . You have to clean the room by yourself. The room is quite large. On the last day, you must pay attention to LOCKER who checked out your luggage. Otherwise, it will be used up by others and there will be no place to send it. . . . .

Can be an extra bed, we are 8 years old and there is no extra bed fee. But this time the hygiene is not good. On the day of the check-in, the bathtub in the room was all sand and stone. It was not cleaned. Waiting for the waiter to open the night bed, I asked for cleaning. In the evening, I went to the small garden to rest, and I ordered a glass of champagne. The waiter actually used a glass of water-filled glass (estimated to be washed and not dried) and poured champagne directly to me, hehe! The next day, the children will sleep more than 7 o'clock in the afternoon. As a result, the children's bed and the quilt are inexplicably wet. Later I went to the front desk and asked them to make better bedding. Very hurt. In such a good location, the rest of the hotel is very good, it is a sanitary situation, it is unacceptable.

Very well located at only few hundred metres from the main street Gran Vía and at 300 metres from the metro station. Colourful neighborhood, with many book shops and vintage stores. The check in was very easy and automatic through a code. I didn't see the common areas because the door to the reception was always closed and a negative aspect of my room is that it missed a wardrobe.

6 family members stayed here for the weekend whilst visiting for a birthday. Great location with lots of bars, restaurants and shopping nearby. Rooms were well furnished and really clean. Excellent value for money - only £70 each for 6 of us to share 3 rooms for 2 nights. Rooms are not huge but we only needed somewhere to sleep! Would definitely recommend and happily go back again. Surprised by the comments about rude staff as all the staff we met were really pleasant and happy to help. Was surprised how quiet it was too as it was on a busy street and we couldn't hear anything both inside & out.

We stayed here for 1 night. You do have to check in at Hostal Victoria 1 but it is literally a couple of minutes away from Hostal Victoria 2. This wasn’t a problem at all. The hotel is Old style but it’s perfectly fine it was very clean, yes it was small but we were only sleeping in the room didn’t spend hardly any time in there as was a shopping & sightseeing trip. Beds were really comfy and the room had central heating. There was a fridge on the room, A safe and Toiletries. It is Located right in the city surrounded by loads and loads of shops and places to eat and 5 mins to Gran Via. It is right by the train station too. We had a room with balcony overlooking the square it’s so lovely at Christmas time as your looking right on to the Xmas tree. It was busy on the street but it didn’t keep us awake or bother us in the night we slept great. Yes you do have to ring a buzzer to get in the building and to get in to your landing but this is good the hotel is in an apartment block like many others so this is for security and to stop people who aren’t staying here getting in. There is CCTV to let you in when you ring the buzzer. Didn’t find this a problem at all and could always get in the hotel when pressing the buzzer. Hotel had WI-FI too. Great all round hotel and amazing location. Would definitely stay here again. :)

Facilities are complete in all areas, except for the basics without slippers. No pre-authorization deposit or compulsory consumption is required. Especially the service is very in place. When checking in, the waiter pours water, then leads the guests to the room, and then explains the location of the facilities on each floor of the hotel. It is really a smile service, and it is also for the Chinese. It is unique in the European hotel industry. When checking out, I will also talk to guests about some things in Madrid, and I will send blessings before leaving. Four Seasons Hotel may not be able to achieve this level of service. Live here The special location is also excellent, just outside the hotel is the Plaza de Espana and the Royal Palace of Madrid is to the south. The hotel has a subway across the road, and the pedestrian street is 200 meters away.

The location of the hotel is in a residential area. The original layout was one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen and two bathrooms. Suggested by our travel agent and turned to out to be an excellent choice. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful; Ursula had provided good tidbits about choosing a restaurant and upgraded us to a balcony room for only €20 a night extra. Room (Room 417) were clean, and the bathroom was almost as big as the room itself! The beds were comfortable and I got a decent sleep. Best part of this hotel was the location; 5 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, 20 minute walk to the Prado and a myriad of restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay and is first choice if I returned to Madrid

Let me talk about location and environment. Good location near the center of Madrid, convenient and quick. But it's not the standard four-star hotel, it's just an air b & b, where is the price, so you can't expect too much. The face of the door is very small, so small that you miss it accidentally. You need to pay attention to the b & b sign. After entering, there is no reception hall of the four or five-star hotel, but there is a friendly, warm, warm and lovely reception desk, and the room will be available after going up. It's clean and tidy, with everything you need, two beds, small shelves, storage space, writing desk, and separate wet and dry bathroom. But the space is smaller than the hotel, not suitable for children. Breakfast is the same. It is open 24 hours. It is self-catering. There is a coffee machine that can provide a variety of hot drinks. There are also simple cookies and fruits to eat. The dining space is simple and clean. If the weather is good, you can go to the elegant and clean terrace outside. . It is worth mentioning that the waiter thoughtfully put a bag of cakes on the door handle in the morning, and it felt great. Can not be measured by star hotel standards, but overall the price is very high.

I was really happy with my stay here. The location is fabulous and I walked almost everywhere I wanted to go. It's a busy area known for good eating and drinking, but there was no rowdiness. The only downside was there was just one power point in my room, but I survived. The receptionists don't speak English, but they were patient and happy to wait while I typed into my translator. I mentioned that I liked the view from the room shown on Booking.com and they gave me that exact room, even though others would have been similar. My room was surprisingly quiet, but you still might like to use earplugs if you're an especially light sleeper. The balcony doors were double glazed and it was really pleasant to stand out there in the evening breeze and watch the world go by.

For the price and location, Hotel Serrano is a great choice. I was in town for a solo vacation and this seemed like a good pick from what I gathered. Front desk was helpful and spoke English. The hotel offered breakfast, but I didn't partake because it was close enough walking distance to other eateries. The room was decent sized and had everything I needed for the trip. Temperature controlled a/c was a life saver. Yes, walls are thin since you can hear people opening and closing doors, but a minor inconvenience because if you're in Madrid, you probably wouldn't anticipate being in the hotel much anyways. They also have a bar downstairs and looked like a good place to get a night cap.

The apartments are of different sizes, interior and exterior units, one or two bedrooms etc. The most distinctive features are that they are kept clean -although some renovations wouldn't hurt, and the location is perfect! Smack right in the middle of the famous "Golden Mile" of Madrid. Metro Station about 50 feet from the Building's entrance, good internet connectivity, safe building all around and staff worth it of a at least a 4 star Hotel. The location is very good, located on the edge of the Tirso de Molina metro station, from the hotel to the West Side Square in the east of Madrid, the Alcalá Gate, the Retiro Park, the Brado Museum, or to the west The Plaza Mayor, the Plaza Mayor, the Segovia Viaduct, the Royal Palace, the Temple of Debo, and the Plaza de España are all within walking distance; they are very close to the Sun Plaza. The surrounding dining and shopping are very convenient. Although there are many immigrants nearby, there is no sense of insecurity. The hotel is small, the access control is convenient and safe, and the staff at the reception desk are warm and friendly. The rooms are small but the interiors are completely renovated and are completely different from the old building. The indoor sanitation is relatively clean, the facilities are complete, the bathroom is hot and full, and it is very comfortable to use. I asked for quiet when making a reservation, so the room is at the end of the walkway. There are windows in the room and bathroom, but the window is outside the window, and the lighting and ventilation are OK. It is worth mentioning that the hotel adopts a frame-mounted blinds. It has excellent shading effect after pulling on, and you can choose how many window holes to cover at will, which is very convenient! Pros: Good location in central Madrid, with quite easy access to nearby metro stations. Sadly that’s pretty much it for the pros Cons: Shower: was annoying because the hot water was about as reliable as a knitted condom and the thing which holds the shower hose was broken so you literally had to hold the thing in your hand the whole time. Room: (1st floor, double) was simply ugly with dull walls and an all-grey bed. Far too small for a double room. The woollen blanket was dirty with clumps of hair and stains from past guests in it. The bed was also slightly too small, although to be fair I’m quite tall and it was quite a negligible issue. WiFi: 3 different Networks. All of them require the same tedious password. All of them promise you 3 bars the whole time. None of them work. I hope your 4G works because God knows this place’s WiFi doesn’t Breakfast: Yeah no. They give you coupons to be used in one of two nearby cafés. This lets you get the ‘breakfast option’ for free. If you want anything else you need to pay standard rate. Well what is the ‘breakfast option?’ I hear you ask. Simple; one croissant, a coffee and an orange juice. Key & access: No elevator which isn’t that bad to be honest, but is annoying when you have heavy luggage. They give you one key (non-electronic) which you need to use to lock you door, otherwise it’s just closed. Not overly difficult, just a bit old fashioned which isn’t really my style. Also when you want to go in the main entrance you need to ring a bell like in a block of flats and ask the receptionist for permission. To be fair to them they did always answer quickly, spoke English and did let me in all the time, It just made me feel awkward to bother someone every time I came back. I mean I’ve been in worse hostels before and I don’t want to come across as snobbish it’s just when you pay €266 for two nights in a place that presents itself as quality, you wouldn’t expect to find something like this. In summary: if it were cheaper and clearer what exactly it was it would be fine, but in reality it is overpriced and very underwhelming, but does have good access to Madrid

The location is very convenient, coming out of the train station and walking along the square for 10 minutes. The entrance to the apartment is a subway station, which is uniquely endowed by nature. The living room is large, the kitchen is large, the family is very comfortable to rest and chat together, there is a cushion on the side of the large French window, a cup of coffee sitting at the window to watch the traffic, if it is not too short, I may be able to sit all day. There is only one bathroom, which is relatively small. There is room service every day, and the whole is clean and tidy. Talk about the noise, the room is facing the street, but the windows are soundproof, and the windows are basically no noise. There is office on the 2nd floor, but working hours are limited. If you exceed 18:00, you can only apply for self-check-in. Regarding the deposit, there are several coin-operated lockers in the office on the 2nd floor. After check-out, the front desk will give you a password for the door. When you take the baggage, you will use this password. All the staff are very nice and the experience is great!
