This place was great. We could park our car right beside the bungalow.... Charge 400 key deposit that they refund when you leave. Two waters will be waiting in the fridge. The bed was fine, sheets clean. Air conditioning works. Management was fantastic and brought breakfast to the room. Has a little table outside to use in front of bungalow. Highly recommend especially if you have dogs.

This place is surrounded by many trees, and has amazing fresh air outside. Right in front of the resort, there is a good Thai local restaurant (very cheap). The price was 500bath /night and for the price wise, it was clean and big! Comfortable bed. I stayed for 4 days and there was a macro , lutus , big-c etc within 10mins driving distance. I recommend those who drive Bike or Car then this place would be a good option.

The price-performance ratio is super high, the room is very big, and it also comes with a small yard, separate parking space, bathroom with bathtub, free breakfast for two, and free swimming pool. It costs only more than 100 yuan per night, which is super! At that time, I was just driving on my way, and I didn't stay for a few more nights. Come again if I have a chance.

Making our way down the coast, we decided to stay here for 3 nights after a train trip from Hua Hin. This hotel seemed the best located not far from the town, about 10 min walk actually although they offer complimentary bycles which we used a couple of times as well as hired a scooter for a day. 7eleven not far at all. Hotel setting was lovely actually creating a somewhat jungle feel. Pool was a good size and clean. Cafe on site was really quant with pretty good coffee. We are vegetarian and also do not eat onion and garlic and they were able to adjust some items on the menu for us and must say we're delicious. We ate here every night. The pricing is not expensive and reasonably priced as well as beers and drinks. Breakfast is provided here. Its fairly basic but enough variety of Western and Asian. How much can yiu eat anyway. We booked the cheapest standard room. It was Standard but pretty good and clean for the price inclusive of breakfast. Lets say, compared to some Motels back in Australia, it was way better and way cheaper. The only cons was these rooms did not have in room safe, the bed a little hard, only thai channels on tv and no coffee and tea provided, only kettle and cups. We didn't ask for any though as we had our own. Rooms above looked bigger as they have a balcony and they have Villas that looked really nice. The town is about 30 minute drive to the ferry pier. We are glad that we didn't book accommodation close to the pier as that area looked a bit distant from anything. The staff were really lovely and very helpful even booking our ferry tickets at no extra charge. I am pretty sure you are able to book other tours ect.. if you needed. In a nutshell, it was a pleasant, clean, convenient and cheap place fir a stopover or short stay.

Best value hotel in Chumphon, for 1200 baht we got the best shower in over 30 days in Thailand. A clean and tidy room and a breakfast that in New Zealand would cost more than the 1 night stay!! . Friendly staff and it’s all right in the middle on Chumphon city so it’s close to night markets and amazing street food. Nice pool area with lots of shade. Probably the criterion for choosing this hotel was the following. On the first line or near the sea we didn't want to look for a hotel because after Samui there will be no best impressions. Bungalo or villa, or maybe just a guest house to take not wanted. We decided to take a small hotel, but with a large pool around the city center. Or not at all in the center because the car is under the hand. Stopped at this hotel. However, it was late and dark, but as usual the gps didn't fail. The only rings in this city are just toys, I just drive them through the dark. then I had to go back. Now about the hotel. The hotel liked, took two rooms on three. Rooms large, light, floor granite or ceramic granite. Beds are large, the size of the king-size. Everything is light and neat. In the room the refrigerator (normally freezing) even the fruit on the upper shelf was caught with ice (the regulator had to dip), the teapot cooking, coffee, cream, water, dishes. The TV is true all channels only local shows, European and especially ours nothing. On the beds the mattresses were much softer than in all previous hotels (even if hotels are above class). Water is only one cold, but on the shower is a stream heater working as a beast on half heating already burning, the leak at the soul has three positions one of them creates just a feeric wind with spray of water, Even in very hot water it cools instantly (just very cool, has not yet faced such a leak work). Breakfast at the hotel is a Swedish table, when settled, coupons are issued. But in the breakfast room no one collects them. There are leaves where the rooms are specified, so there were 5 rooms of them 2 of ours, and the Swedish table is covered as if the whole hotel is now going down for breakfast. The diversity of dishes was quite large from Asian to European food. Breakfasts are very good. The first floor is almost open, three cool photo zones, made in different styles with accompanying attributes (the hats of the type three, soft toys, etc.), a large recreation area with good carpet and soft sofas. At the hotel the large swimming pool 12*25 m. the water is excellent. Because they lived in the swimming pool on weekends, very many locals come to the pool, generally from the morning to 18-00 a full pool of children. Some of the children are professionally swimming without stopping, but most are just barracks. The hotel is near (5 minutes by car) with the night market at the train station. In general, a simple city, a good hotel, friendly people. If we go again, we will definitely go to this hotel after all in the district there is something to look at.

The hotel is located in the centre of the city near the night market and is very welcome and pleasant. However, this breakfast is mainly oriented to Thai, i.e. you will have rice soup, a little pig meat or fish, hard egg, not really a ptdej farang. No toast, butter, confectionery, or orange juice. Just coffee or tea in hot drink. Otherwise the rooms are properly furnished and very clean, with air conditioning, fridge, flat-screen TV, excellent Wi-Fi. The staff is very friendly and try to meet your expectations. In contrast, I who cannot sleep when there is light in the room, I was awake from 6:30 a.m. because the window gateways are not hidden; moreover, we were on the east side. A double-up of the corners to hide light would be desirable.

It was a very clean, large room although I could hear our neighbors through the bathroom vents (luckily, my parents were on one side, my daughters on the other). It was cute that they provided a hotpot and milo so we could sample that and also eat some mama cup o noodles. Breakfast wasn’t appealing to my kids’ American appetites - there wasn’t even any fruit. But it was reasonably priced and we only stayed there b/c the Novotel lost power (and I’m not sure the Novotel would’ve been much better!) No soap provided in the bathroom btw!

Stopped by at hopinn chumphon for 1 night when driving down south. Sufficient parking space. Great security as keycard is required to enter the premises. The room was clean and hygiene. Shower is hot with water pressure. Soap and shampoo is provided. However, there is no toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the highway. 7-11 and some local food store are within walking distance. The price is great for the offering. Very satisfied with the stay and recommend to all travellers if they need to stop by on the way to south Thailand.

We were in the very good position and were very cheap. The staff were very nice and we could leave our luggage there for a week! The room was large and clean with wifi connection. In the hall you can drink coffee or tea with cookies in the morning and if you want it can also be brought to the room.

Although we did not stay at this hotel, we still have to say that the boss here is very friendly. All trains to Malaysia were cancelled due to the protests in southern Thailand and we were also trapped in Chunpeng House. We found this hotel and provided a hostel for the three of us. Knowing that we must arrive at Kota Baru, Malaysia as soon as possible, the boss is very trying to help us find a way to find other buses and railway lines that can leave that night, although this also means that we will not stay, will lose business. As far as we saw, the hotel looked very clean and warm. Thank you very much to the boss, he is very enthusiastic and hopes to come again someday.

No doubt, that unconventional things add more bright colors to our life, the same as visiting of uncommon places. With all that said, I can call De Sea Almond Hotel in Chumphon as one of the most unusual hotels we have ever settled in. It’s not just a hotel with a number of rooms, which, more or less, looks the same, no, each room in this hotel is one-of-a-kind one. We were lucky enough to spend one night in the room number three on the first floor, a two-story fort-like room with a big bathtub and spacious balcony with a sea-view, and it we did really enjoy the opportunity to warm ourselves in a hot bath with bubble bath (kindly provided by the hotel) first, and then cool ourselves with one famous cold drink, sitting on the balcony. Just one little advice: start taking hot water into the bath in advance as the flow of the water was water pressure was quite weak. For example, it took us about one hour to fill the bath. Yes, the hotel isn’t brand-new one, at all, and it definitely needs renovation here and there. Wir haben im Moonshine Resort nur eine Nacht verbracht, da wir an dem nächsten Morgen gleich weiter nach Koh Tao gereist sind (kostenloser Transfer zur Fähre). Hätten wir jedoch gewusst, dass es hier sooooo schön ist, wären wir auf jeden Fall länger geblieben. Die Zelte, die direkt am wunderschönen Pool liegen, sind ziemlich cool. Sie bieten zwar nicht so ganz viel Platz, aber dennoch ausreichend. Außerdem sind sie klimatisiert. Die Besitzerin ist super nett. Wir sind sehr spät am Busbahnhof in Chumphon angekommen (hier fahren keine Taxis). Sie hat uns an dem Abend noch einen Abholservice organisiert und obwohl die Küche schon geschlossen war, sogar noch ein leckeres Abendessen zubereitet. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle :-)

Only stayed one night waiting to go to Ko Tao. There were only two pillows provided on a queen bed so I asked for a third pillow and was met with “we don’t have any more pillows”. Well for a good size hotel I didn’t buy that for a minute. They opened a room next to the front desk to show me they didn’t have any pillows, I guess they thought I was am *****. I knew the hotel was far from full so I suggested they could use one from an unused room. Well at the end of the day they found one for me to use. The pool was nice and relaxing. We had dinner in the lounge that was surprisingly good. I can’t say the same for the breakfast. Cold eggs and no bacon. It’s not horrible but just not as good as I have been getting the last few weeks. Also no electrical outlets on either side of the bed. Strange I would say.

A little village of cute, brightly-painted and spotlessly clean bungalows at an amazing price, just a couple hundred yards from Sairee Beach and a short drive to all the other (and better) beaches of the Chumphon area. Note that it's a Thai-style resort, with a Thai-style bed (beyond firm), and there's no pool here, but a great stopover at an unbeatable price, with a Thai breakfast in the morning.

Stopped here on my way from Koh Tao to Bankok. It did the job, but it was a bit meh. The room was okay but they told me they upgraded me and my view was a parking lot. The restraint they suggested was not anything that great and when I went to find something else, everything was in Thai so I couldn’t read it. The shower had wall paper in it and looked pretty gross but the rest of it was clean. The internet was pretty difficult to get working but then did work okay after waiting. Good value for money but not somewhere I would stay again.

I have the honour of being the first person to write a review for this hotel on trip advisor. I think there’s 2000 on Agoda. This place is great value for money. Highly recommend. It’s so clean, staff are friendly and not expensive. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the centre and 4 min ride on motorbike or taxi. I’m really pleased I chose this hotel!
