Breakfast is a Western buffet and overall is OK. The hotel is not in the city centre and there is a big road at the door. However, the hotel offers a free airport pick-up, and Baku can play uber so it feels good.

Our family of four had a lovely stay at the Excelsior this Christmas 🎄. The hotel has wonderful character and the staff make you feel very welcome. We stayed for 4 nights in a royal suite and found it to be excellent with plenty of room and a luxurious feel. There was a large sofa bed for the children and a very large comfortable bed with luxury linen in the main bedroom. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the turn down service was excellent throughout our stay. We dined in the Resturant a few times for both dinner and breakfast. We found the meals to be mixed in terms of quality but the staff, particularly Yagob and Kanan tried very hard to accommodate special requests. The price of food and beverages was reasonable for a hotel in the area. The spa facilities were fantastic and both my husband and I enjoyed a great Swedish massage during our stay. There is a large indoor swimming pool that our children used, however, they didn’t stay inside for long as they believed that it was highly chlorinated compared to the swimming pools they frequent in Dubai. Swimmers should also be advised that swim caps are mandatory to use the pool facilities so please take one with you. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Baku. Here are some tips on how our stay could have been even better; - Train staff to smile 😊 at guests as this is a warm greeting and is good for well-being - Have cloth napkins available in the restaurant for guests to use during breakfast, lunch and dinner. - Speed up service, especially drinks orders as this will not only delight your customers but also increase your F&B revenue - regularly scan communal areas, such as ensuring that food trays are cleaned up immediately after use from corridors - Always recommend a taxi company for airport or local trips that you know have excellent safety and full 3 point seatbelts for all passengers We look forward to staying again in the future.

The rooms are quite good and is maintained well. The main issue is at night when you sleep you hear the noise the of metro train passing.

Well, how do you say the location of the hotel? It should be okay, very close to the Aliyev Cultural Center, and there are two supermarkets around the main street, but a bit far from the ancient city. The biggest problem is that the hotel is a bit old, and there is an old smell inside. I don't know if it is a problem with my room or a general problem.

Nothing looks so good on the photo, the room decoration style feels the same as the small hotel in the county. It was clean, but the surrounding feeling was rather deserted, and there was no popularity. The road in front of the hotel was still being repaired. Not taking the subway, they are all taking taxis. When you check in, your passport will be at the front desk and check out will be given.

This is a small hotel in an older part of the city. There are free transfers from the airport and the staff are very welcoming. There is a bathroom and kitchen shared by 2 rooms but we were the only guests and so had the suite to ourselves. We arrived late but the staff organised a take away of typical local food that they brought to our room. The room was simply furnished but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is included, it is basic but adequate. Two words of warning taxi drivers in the centre of the city do not seem to know the location of this hotel so take the hotel leaflet with you so that they know where they are going. The other issue is to be sure of which terminal your flight goes from. Most flights to Tbilisi go from the old terminal and if you are dropped at the new one it is a long walk.

The hotel is located in the old city and it is convenient to all places. It should be opened soon, the hardware facilities are great (as far as the old city is concerned), and the toilets are in good condition. There is no elevator in the hotel, and the old city hotels seem to be like this. The roads in the old city are not suitable for sunk boxes, and taxis can't reach the door of the hotel directly, so living in the old city is suitable for tourists who don't have much luggage. But what made me unhappy during the whole journey was the hotel’s service. I booked for three consecutive nights through Ctrip. I didn’t rest assured that I contacted the hotel via Facebook to confirm the reservation. The hotel responded to the reservation and received it, but when I arrived at the hotel more than 11pm on the first day , The hotel said that there was no room for the first night, and sent me to the hotel next door. The next door was just a small bed and breakfast. The room was less than 10 square meters and had a double bed. The 29-inch box I brought could not be fully opened. I booked with Da Vinci The rooms are totally unmatched, and the hotel’s approach is totally unintelligible! I originally said that I could move back after 12 noon the next day. I went to the hotel reception to confirm at 12:30 and agreed to move, but after I moved in, I told the room that the room was not cleaned. I asked me to wait for half an hour and I sat in the hotel. The front desk waited for more than 2 hours... before finally entering the room, the hotel front desk did not help at all during the coordination period, just let me wait, which was very unhappy! The most uncomfortable experience in the whole process! The front desk service of the hotel was particularly bad, including asking for help to get a taxi later, no matter how short the distance was. The picture was sent to the guest house next door to me. Da Vinci is the same as the picture on the website, and there is no other picture if he is in a bad mood.

We stayed 4 night in Sep 2019 in Deluxe city hotel .The most important issue about this hotel is its lovely staffs... all the stafs treated with guests extremely kind & polite. I have not ever seen such an amazing persons like Elgiz & Farid who are working in front desk. The gustes are welcomed by their smile & open heart. If I was the owner of this hotel, never lost such brilliant persons like this two staffs since they are the real assets of this property. The hotel was so clean & every day all towels & sheets replaced with new ones & paper toiltes & other supplies charged. Breakfast buffet was basic, but you could order omlet freely & the taste & quality of omlets were great, specially tomato omlet.😋 The hottel location was awesome & it was only 5 min walk to park boulvevard. It is also close to targovi street & 28 mall & u can reach them by 15 min walk. The negetive point about the hotel was the noise & we could hear the conversations from corridors easily. Also double beds was not actually double,I suppose they had put 2 single bed next to each other & was a little uncomprtable & hard,so mattress could be more softer. generally we recommend this hotel to others & will come back again If we visit Baku. At the end special thanks to Elgiz , Farid & all other employees that I dont know their names & really appreciated.

The apartment is not the same building of the hotel and it was far block its not good if you are having a lot of bags and kids! Also the apartment room was scary, some lights are blinking on and off and the light are color brown like old bulbs I wish they make it white light to make it more pleasing because the color makes it more creepy. First day internet doesn’t work and door was broken, at the end of the stay they charged us with the door fixing. what a shame! The room felt so eerie with big mirrors facing the bed and the old chandelier that even you switch off there’s still light at the bulbs like a led light that makes the room more scary. Housekeeping doesn’t clean at all they just throw the garbage and change toiletries apart from that nothing else, bed still the same not even folded, pillow request isn’t possible because of shortage. The room booked was with balcony but room given without balcony. Water didn’t replaced each day so we had to buy on our own! I hope you make your details proper! The receptionist were very helpful and kind but just didn’t like the hotel. It is cheap really but the facility isn’t worth it. Better to pay with a price than paying cheap and getting anxiety and stress for paying cheap.

The hotel is situated at the edge of Fountain Square which is very convenient in visiting both the old and new Baku. The entrance of the hotel is on the small alley and isn't directly facing the Fountain Square so I was lost trying to find the hotel at the beginning. The room was spacious with very high ceiling. I booked direct from the hotel website and was quoted 95 AZN per night for a standard double room with breakfast. The price quoted was the price paid in cash and it would be more expensive to pay by credit card. The staff were all helpful and accommodated. They let me check in to our room as early as 9AM. The breakfast was good and plenty. It was very good that the hotel served breakfast very early in Azerbaijani standard(from 6.30-7 AM if my memory is right). Azcot hotel is not a luxurious hotel but it is a good hotel with charm and good service. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone:-)

We chose Baku as our holiday spot and were provided stay by Holiday factory at Auroom. The hotel is relatively new and has a couple of restaurants and supermarkets close by. Bank which does currency exchange is close by but closes at 6PM. Nizami is the nearest metro station and is a 20 min walk or would cost 5 AZN by cab. We were given Room 201 initially. Bathroom had a foul smell all the time. We then moved to Room 207. This was a nice and well maintained room. Housekeeping was good. Breakfast was nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially Taimur. He helped us in tour booking and provided instructions for daily sightseeing. He was always available when needed.

Promenade Hotel in Baku is new, but felt very established. Staff were friendly, accommodating, helpful and just all around terrific. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay the most comfortable it could be. The rooms were clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, housekeeping was timely, the rooms were temperature controlled exactly to your liking. The breakfast spread was amazing! Wow! Fresh honeycomb, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, freshly made bread and omelettes made to order. Great coffee! The location of the hotel was superb, within short walking distance of every attraction! The hotel itself is located on the main boulevard and is just on the perimeter of beautiful Old Town (30 second walk to Old Town). Terrific stay all around. I absolutely loved Azerbaijan, and Baku and would absolutely stay at Promenade again when that day comes! The amazing staff at Promenade Hotel are really what made this hotel above and beyond a 5 star boutique hotel! Thank you so much to the staff and management for giving me a home away from home in beautiful Baku city. And Merry Christmas! The beautifully decorated hotel with the tree, all the lights and the stocking hung on my door made me very happy! Can’t wait to see you again when I find myself in Baku once again. Cheers!

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The rooms are very premium. There is a lot of attention to detail and hard work put into every amenity, from the beds to the towels, furniture and cutlery we loved everything about it. The breakfast is excellent and to be honest I enjoyed the deli meats and cheeses. Best of all I liked the balcony and the views around and gentle breeze is a treat. Just to name a few staff who truly treated me like a valued guest, Shaila and Rahil were excellent. The staff go beyond and above to ensure that guests are valued. I have never stayed in a hotel were the staff were so friendly and helpful such as supreme. This is truly Supreme hotel and the hotel lives up to its name. The reception staff, restaurant and housekeeping all did a fantastic job. Thanks for also arranging the tours and the tour guides Elshan and Farid did a splendid job. Thanks for the hotel transfer to the airport. Supreme hotel will always have a special place in our hearts and we hope to visit soon. Highly recommended and 5 star rating. Superb supreme 👍👍👍
