|10.8km from city centerThis hotel has nice rooms and an amazingly friendly staff and has the perfect location in Ao Nang. All this for a reasonable price, which is not often the case anymore in Ao Nang. They have their own agency for booking tours and transport to other parts of Thailand which makes sure that everything is well coordinated between the hotel and the transport companies. All in all a place I will certainly come back to when I’m in Ao Nang again.

|11.17km from city centerIt's perfectly located and offers everything you need for a couple of nights. The rooms are spacious, the wi-fi works well, and the beds are large. The staff is friendly and welcoming and they were kind enough to keep our luggage for us as we left for two nights on Phi Phi. As for minuses, the breakfast is not amazing and the sheets on the bed were old and not very clean. Quite a turn-off for an otherwise lovely place, so hopefully this will be improved in the future.

I was considering booking on Riley Island and enjoy the beaches (at 2000 to 3000 Thai baht per night). That rins about 60 to 100 usd per night. So grateful I stayed her in Krabi Town. I have gone to Ao Nong beach 3 days in a row. The resturants are great along the beach. I can walk, bike or grab a (Rot Thaw) which is so cheap. The back of it has side seating and it is about 50-60 baht (about $1,50 usd) If you want to go alone than its more. I love this place. Nothing fancy but the owner Bang speaks English and they have a great staff. There is an elevator and stairs for their 4 floors. There is no iron or blow dryer. Bring your own. They do not serve breakfast but from what I can see, they must have before Covid. Have grace as these hotels get back on their feet. I paid 500 Thai baht per night. That's $15 per night. The rooms are a good size. There is lovely outdoor tropical seating/tables and chairs to sit under ceiling fans. It's worth it! This may be my regular place to stay. Lot's of highly rated restaruants and cafe's in walking distance. Very Covid safe and Sha approved!

We arrived with one bag lost in Bangkok airport and the staff called and followed till we received our bag. Very close by the beach and rest of facilities. Rooms have old furniture but are cleaned in the old building. Balconies are enough for two persons and a coffee early in the morning. Housekeeper is doing a perfect job. I use the hotel since 2017 and I'll use it again.

I originally hated Ctrip’s introduction of this hotel. I didn’t even say that I had to go in by boat. There was no hotel pick-up, but I felt the value of this hotel from the moment I logged in. I didn’t see a Chinese. There are Japanese people, and the rest are foreigners. Foreigners are going to play, rock climbing, and kayaking. They have a unique advantage in the natural environment of the hotel. The environment is beautiful and nothing to say. I saw a lizard about 40 cm long climbing on the beach. The monkeys shuttled freely in the top of the mountain. This is the feeling of being wrapped in nature, quiet, slow and quiet! The hotel itself has a restaurant, green curry beef soup, seafood noodles, pineapple rice, Thai hot and sour fish, milk bananas, the amount is much cheaper and delicious! After all, the beverages bought in the supermarket are the monopoly of the mountain, which is twice as expensive as the outside. We spent a week in Amari vogue resort and we are so happy for our choice! The staff are so nice, helpful with everything we asked to make this experience as comfortable as possible! It’s a very quiet place built with Thai architecture very clean and our upgraded room was big and had all the necessary equipment to make us feel great.
Breakfast has European and Asian dishes and every day they had different selections. Surprisingly, there’s a Starbucks store in it too! We had 4 times dinner at the Marcos beach restaurant and the food was really delicious.
The resort helped us also to book a long tail boat to visit the islands across.
Truly, it’s hard to find negative things in our stay. Maybe for some people they won’t feel comfortable with the lots of stairs but you get used to it fast.
Near the resort there are no shops and you need to ask the reception to book a car to bring you to AoNang, the closest town that has all the necessary stuff, markets, restaurants, pharmacies etc. It’s about 20’ minutes away. There’s a choice to rent a motorbike as well.

|11.04km from city centerWe had previously booked this hotel for a 2020 visit before Covid ruined those plans, so we were looking forward to our eagerly awaited holiday in Thailand. We had decided to travel during the Songkran (Thai new year) festivities, which were unbelievable. So much fun! Our 13 year old daughter (can I say daughter nowadays!!!) had the best time of her life shooting water everywhere. The Thai people, always smiling, are simply amazing. Now, ok, this is a hotel review. We had booked a pool access room by the fantasy pool (the one with the slides). Simply, unless you like people clambering over YOUR small terrace, taking photos while stood on YOUR terrace, jumping in the pool from YOUR terrace, trying to get to their room next door across YOUR terrace, don’t waste your money. It was disgusting, utterly intrusive and bloody ignorant. There are no barriers (and there should be) between the rooms/terraces to prevent this. A joke! We had two sun loungers on the terrace (which people climbed over too) but they were in the shade all the time. Rooms 127 to 131 get no sun at this time of year, so again if you’re a sun worshipper don’t waste your money. The wifi is abysmal. It says somewhere in the room, don’t wait to get home to complain about something, ask the staff! We complained about the wifi almost every day until we gave up. They advertise (incorrectly) that there’s wifi available in all areas. A total lie! The only place you were guaranteed wifi was in the reception area. Or the Green Pepper restaurant across the road!!! I had to pay for 5G everyday to do some work for my business back home!!! And then I get charged for having my room an extra hour on checkout! So much for customer service. A recent reviewer said the breakfast was amazing. No, adequate is the word you’re looking for. It didn’t matter what time you visited, it was packed out, nowhere to sit, no cutlery, no plates, no cups, no food. Everyday we had to ask staff for this, that and the other to be replenished. There was just not enough staff. Apart from 5 behind reception!! On a plus, the room itself was fairly nice with a comfy bed. It could do with more drawer space and more hangers in the wardrobe. Oh and the plug didn’t work in the bathroom sink. On a plus plus, the bar staff at the fantasy pool bar were awesome. A special massive thank you to Soe who was brilliant. One final note, please Ananta Burin Manager/owner, please don’t reply to this review patronising me. This review is a true and honest review. There needs to be changes at this hotel before we ever return. Sorry Soe.

|9.65km from city centerWell it’s $42 nZ a night so it’s dirt cheap.the location is fantastic in the jungle below the cliffs.It has a fantastic pool area with monkeys frolicking in the surrounding trees. We stayed 4 days and the monkeys were seen every day …….. but the rooms are the worst part. Tired, dated, and a little dirty.( But it’s $42!!) it’s walking distance to shops and restaurants but a 30 min walk to beach so best to use thier shuttle or hire a scooter. Minimal English is spoken by staff and you will be woken by multiple roosters at 5.30am….. and a peacock if he’s feeling vocal.

|17.39km from city centerHad a fantastic stay here , from the minute we arrived the staff were friendly and attentive despite the rather strange check in system in place. The room was spotless , and was always well maintained , we had a deluxe jacuzzi room . .. the view was fabulous but we were expecting something a little more than an jaccuzzi bath you would see in a house bathroom for one person ... Which for that reason was never used .. and as comfortable as the room was .. it was getting dated .. however it didn't dampen our spirits as it was still lovely, we came to spend our time outside .. and there were absolutely no disappointments there , situated right on the beach with a lovely tree with a rope swing providing some much needed shade , and the sea no more than a few steps at high tide .. it was literally heavenly .. the changing views across the sea to the scattered islands changing with the sun from morning to evening and the sunsets are breathtaking and not to be missed , boat taxis visit the beach regularly and are very reasonable and definitely worth using for a private tour of the islands . breakfast was fantastic and always plentiful and delicious , infact the only real disappointment was eating and drinking at the restaurant at night , despite it having postcard views the service , food and drink was very underwhelming , and dare I say at times frustrating .. and with the resort being relatively isolated dining out isn't just a wander down the street , missing orders , incorrect bills , slow inattentive staff , and communication problems due to language barriers seemed to occur frequently with the staff at night , something which was never evident at any other time , fortunately as a frequent business traveller also I always try to avoid charging to my room to avoid any billing issues , innocent mistakes seemed to be the norm at night .. and easy to miss with a quick signature .. .. that said we had a fabulous stay and I'm sure that we were maybe just unlucky as it was quiet due to the time of year .. definitely a great place to stay at particularly for couples looking for a quiet relaxed time .. lastly .. honest rating would be more 3.7 ..

The room cleaning is also great. We will help us clean it very cleanly when we come back every day. The hotel is very delicious halal restaurants. The reception desk helped us book a travel route, the airport transfer was super affordable and very free. Overall, the location of this hotel is very good, because it is 5 minutes by taxi from Ao Nang Beach, and it is not very far from Noppharathara to the island.

Apart from the fact that this really is the ideal location in Aonang, the location itself is very beautiful, fantastic views and nature and yet everything within walking distance. Rooms are very neat, restaurant and swimming pools too. The staff are so very sweet and helpful. They give honest advice about anything and everything. You really feel at home and for our children this also felt like a safe haven (16,13 and 8). We had 2 Swimup rooms with a connecting door. The location is ideal if you want everything within walking distance but no noise from the streets. The large ”Muslim Street” with all kinds of eateries, shops, tour desks, everything you need is a few minutes' walk away, while this hotel really sits against a mountain. Aonang beach is a 10/15 min walk, so is the general office for renting Longtail boats if you want to go to Railey Beach or take the steps of Monkeytrail. I would really recommend it to everyone. Face for families with children, single travelers and couples.

|9.6km from city centerWe have made with 2 different name for our booking, during check in there is some problem with the booking that have been made, room that we have booked suppose to be 3 person and when check in it only show for 2 person each, we have to add extra 700bath per night for two person, which are not the problem since, we didn't know how its happen.
The problem start with the old lady at the counter (Wearing Glasses) that are very rude, during trying to sort the problem happen, she are not fluent in English but every time trying to talk to the others person she will interfere and making thing hard to everyone. She event start to question person that came into the main entrance which are from ours group member during we check the room condition, she should be change her attitude since she represent the customers and handling guest,

When we first came, they advised us on halal restaurants, bike rentals and tuk tuk services in case we got lost and even drew us a map. The hotel is in a good location, 15 minutes to the beach, surrounded by restaurants, bicycle rental services, banks with ATMs. Although located next to the main road, the environment is very good and quiet.

If you want to be surrounded by mountains and greenery while being a short walk away from the hustle and bustle, this is perfect. The staff are super friendly and will help you with anything . The resort is about a 20 minute walk from the beach but a 5 minute walk to bars, shops and street food. The room was lovely and spacious with good privacy. |10.98km from city centerSuper impressed with this hotel. Great communication - arranging transport to and from the Airport , and flexibility with earlier arrival than initially booked. Room was spacious and clean…plus it was decorated in my fav colours!! Housekeeping kept giving us clean beach towels every day and the rooms were cleaned super fast. The room had amazing views from a spacious balcony. There were a couple of issues - air conditioning wasn’t working too well and a blocked lav - calls to the front desk were answered and someone was sent up right away to fix both problems within 10-20 mins. Very efficient! The breakfast was all you can eat and had a variety of food the choose from…Western and Thai. Spent a lot of time at the beach bar…great drinks (Mango Daiquiri so yum) and the food was great for a quick snack. Plus you can’t beat the view of the beach. Both pools were great as well! I enjoyed my stay and would go back there for sure!! Thank you Ao Nang Villa Resort!

The room was in the old building, but it had a double bed and a single bed, so it was perfect for our family of three. The water in the pool was clean and comfortable, but it was cold because it was surrounded by buildings and was not exposed to the sun. . . The staff were kind and comfortable.

I feel that the whole person has relaxed a lot. It’s really beautiful to shoot the sunset. At night, I listen to the sound of insects and frogs and fall asleep. Sleeping is too comfortable. |11.04km from city centerWarning - this place will make you want to quit your job and stay forever. The nights out are legendary. The staff, Chloe, Libby - energy through the roof. I forget the lads names unfortunately but they were incredible. My first night before I could reach an ATM a rep let me borrow cash off him. When you walk in the door on your first day you instantly get greeted like a long lost friend. Food is epic, hash browns are a must buy breakfast. Don’t miss the pub crawl pres. there’s so much going on my only advice is to try and take yourself off to the beach 5-10 minutes walk away with some pals to chill for a bit as it’s lovely there to recover from a hangover.
