Excellent place just outside Rome. Quiet and cozy. Clean and well handled. Wonderful host who will help you in anyway (I had a flat tire, and the host helped me getting the repair done. Easy to get to Rome - if you have a car to get to the town - to far to walk. The town, Monterotondo, is not overflown with turists, but has good places to get what you need.

The hotel is located about 40 minutes northeast of Rome. I stayed there as a part of an EF tour group that I was chaperoning. The hotel itself was quiet, and the rooms were clean. I suspect that the majority of the guest are part of budget conscious tour groups. The hotel sits atop a hill and enjoys some wonderful views, particularly of the sunrise. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and other than being a little isolated I have no complaints about the hotel.

We chose this hotel because we have family in Mentana with no space for visitors. We were impressed by the spacious room given to us, less so by the lack of the basics we have come to expect from hotel accommodation - no shampoo, conditioner etc. The staff were all very helpful especially Ingrid, the hotel manager, who resolved the problems we had quickly and efficiently. The breakfast waitresses also were friendly and helpful, though non English speakers, if that is important. Breakfast itself was adequate, though at times pastry items didn't appear particularly fresh. The main disadvantage to this hotel was that there was no bar and the one opposite the hotel closed by 8pm most evenings so that if we got back to hotel after that time we were restricted to sitting in our room with only water to drink. Tea making facilities would have been appreciated, though we are aware that is rare in Italy. Not a hotel suitable for a long stay, especially in winter.

We had a pleasant memory of this place from a stay a couple of years ago. Checking in this time, seemed to be a repeat of the same. Setting, amenities and service all were excellent. Then, something changed that actually ruined the visit.,,,,,, It seems that the owners decided to over-regulate the air conditioning by modifying the controls in the room so that there is no adjustment except on and off. Now our stay was ruined instantly due to the fact that the night we stayed was a warm, humid night. Because there are no screens on the windows, they cannot be opened so that mosquitoes would not come in. It was exasperating to find that the owners decided that the air conditioning should not produce cool air after 1:00 a.m. So, after an uncomfortable night, I write this review recommending that no one should stay at this place unless the owners address the climate control problem. Their idea of saving a little money will cost them dearly, not just because of one negative review, but because others will find the same problem, and will stop using or recommending this establishment. What a shame! Especially because, if you are coming to Rome by car, this was probably be one of the best places to stay for the price and amenities.I hope the owners see this review and take care of the problem. Some compensation to us would also be appropriate.

My husband and I booked five nights at this hotel while visiting friends and family in Rome. It was an easy drive into the city center, to friends outside of Rome and to the airport. The decor was perfect in every detail, excellent breakfast (fresh cornetti every morning!), parking in front, and an extremely courteous and helpful staff.

Clean, beautiful, quiet, charming, big pool and friendly staff. Will definitely come baclk and highly recommend with kids since you can really rest and enjoy after the visits the garden/pool/spa etc. We loved it !!!!

Termini Central Station
The hotel is a street away from the main road. We are a hotel from the Central Station at about 8 o'clock, which is relatively deserted, but the bright and spacious hotel lobby still gives a good impression. The check-in process was smooth and there were hotel-specific discount cards on the promotional shelves at the front desk. It should be noted that even if the room rate has been prepaid on Ctrip. The front desk will also ask for a credit card for guarantee (CUP available). A city tax of € 6 per person per night is charged at check-out. After checking in, I found several features that make this hotel truly worthy of the name of the hive. The ladder-shaped elevator, the rooms on the same floor are distributed like beehives, outside the balcony are hexagonal patios, honey-flavored shower gels and so on. Fortunately, the size of the room is not as small as a hexagonal honeycomb, and the two large boxes are still more than enough in space. There is also a safe in the room, so you can put valuables when you go out. Slippers were a pleasant surprise. Previously, hotels in the UK, the Netherlands and Switzerland were not available. Being forced to spend nearly one hundred yuan to bring his own slippers is really the consequence of not doing a good job in advance. The towels in the bathroom are placed on a heating rack, which is warm when you take them off. This is really a rare equipment and very intimate. Two regrets are that the first low-floor mobile phone and wifi signal are not particularly good. The second is that I did n’t eat the fried noodles for breakfast like other reviews, it ’s just a classic western breakfast. There are many high-quality Chinese restaurants nearby.
