This place is good — the room is clean and nice. The only problem is the noise. Since the hotel is located next to a main road and a railway, the room I got can clearly hear every sound from vehicles on the road and trains passing by. The first train usually comes around 12–1 a.m., and the second around 2 a.m. I wouldn’t recommend this place for people who are light sleepers like me, as I couldn’t sleep well during my stay.FromSGD 45

Decided to splurge a little this time. Upon arrival, the check-in process was super smooth, he was already expecting our arrival. We were shown to our cool and prepared room. Very sweet of the hotel staff to make a welcome message from leaves and flowers and folded elephant towels ❤️
What I love most about this hotel is it's spacious bathroom and the shower came from the top, like water coming from the sky 🩵
Breakfast was decent, a good range of choices, though the ingredients used are not top and more on the saltier side. The juices are too sweet, the orange juice is something quite odd too. Nonetheless, it is complimentary, so it's a good start to the day.
Didn't use much facilities there except for refilling water, which is really nice too!
Check-out process is just as smooth too! If you have a little extra budget, treat yourselves a nice room, close to the city centre and approx 10 min walk to the promenade. Local markets are close by if there's where you'd like to go too!FromSGD 62

Very idyllic, not hot at night, no air conditioning in the house, there is a fan, it is very comfortable to sleep with a fan, next to the hotel is the Gomboo River, you can row your own boat, very comfortable, many European and American passengers live here. I had a satisfying vacation thanks to the facilities and friendly staff that were better than I expected. Although it was not large, I enjoyed swimming with my family in the private pool in the form of a pool villa. Don’t stay in room 2 it’s under the bar and the bass beats start at 7am and go to the wee hours
Food is good staff is friendly expats are over the top rude and I even heard a guy yell “the south will rise again” so ya, we know why he’s out here
But you won’t find a more central location, cooler rooms (neat little balconies) or a better DVD collection, anywhere in South East Asia

The hotel is not far from the river front and although the rooms are small they are comfortable.
Walk in shower, small fridge (could not get it to work) but not good for working as there is no desk space.
Downstairs has a coffee shop and there is a restaurant for breakfast on the 7th which also provides room service throughout the day. It has lovely view towards the mountains.

We had a wonderful 5 day stay here! The hotel is in a good location with lots nearby. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and really looked after our family.
We stayed in a huge family connecting room with two ensuite bathrooms, lounge area and mini fridge.
Toiletries were provided including toothbrushes, shower caps, cotton buds and hairdryers in each bathroom. As well as towels (which smell divine!) there are also face flannels! I've been here many times, and it's definitely one of my top picks in Kampot province. The value for money is exceptional, breakfast is delicious, and the surroundings are beautiful. As a self-proclaimed clean freak, I can confidently say their beds and linens are spotless, so I never experienced any itchiness – their hygiene is excellent. The only minor downside was that I kept getting calls from other rooms, with guests mistakenly thinking my room was the front desk.FromSGD 55

Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service
Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city.
The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out.
That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.FromSGD 34

Very quiet, comfy and clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff. The trees n its environment are another good side of this hotel. The downside would be the breakfast, which are small in number and no much to offer if you don't eat pork like myself, but totally understand their offer during weekdays. The hotel is really good. But could improve, specially considering the price. They need to improve their cleaning standards and pay more attention to it. I booked 3 nights and added 4 more nights. Some days they did not give the bottle of water or replace the empty tissue box. They do the service too fast and don’t seem to pay much attention to details. Besides is a relaxed place to stay and the staff is friendly.FromSGD 45
