The hotel is clean and the sea view is great. The service is thoughtful and thoughtful, take the initiative to help with the luggage, remind the room facilities how to use, breakfast staff to ask if you need coffee, take the initiative to help you call the good early. Extra little busy will also help very intimate and attentive! Very satisfied with a stay.

I stayed in the hotel with my friends for three days in April 2018. I have to admit that I loved the Breakfast the hotel provided us with, the kind and responsible staff and the overall experience was really satisfying. I liked the vibe of the hotel but the room I stayed in wasn’t too impressive. Always clean and taken care of but I didn’t like the fact that it was hot and I couldn’t get the air conditioning to work. We ignored the air conditioning problem because the service was really good! We stayed at the Pillow Urban Stay for one night in July, on our return from vacation in Kefalonia. The tall young man at the reception was extremely helpful and very fluent in English. The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot and he gave us a card we used at the nearby underground parking center (which was also excellent). The room was extremely comfortable, clean and everything in it nice and new There was also a warm welcome gesture: coffee capsules, tea sachets, biscuits and a personalized message. The location is also a great positive feature of this hotel. It is located in the close vicinity of Tsimiski shopping street and the White Tower. We are definitely going to repeat the whole experience again.

This wasn’t my first stay at this boutique hotel. The suite was facing the waterfront as I had requested. The staff is very attentive and are always available to guide guests in their needs, with great knowledge of Thessaloniki. Although I was in the city but a few nights, I have used the valet service for parking in the past. It’s very convenient. Normally not a breakfast person, the buffet was so diversified, I indulged every morning. The staff is the gem of the Daios hotel. From front desk, porters, house keeping and the restaurant staff, their warmth comes across. They are all attentive in a wonderfully subdued way. Attentive but not intrusive and it truly compliments the properties style. Ultimately, would I stay again….? Oh, yes. It’s the right size that you’re not treated as just another temporary tenant. They’re truly appreciative that you’re in their care. And it’s a special feeling every time I stay at the Daios.

Since we have decided to spent New Year Eve and holidays in Thessaloniki, we chose Hotel ABC according to previously written reccomendations. The most important for us was its excellent location. When we arrived at the hotel, we got a room on the frist floor. The room was rather small but very well equiped with everything a guest needs. Even had a greath balcony ( for summer uses only :-)) and nice view to Ano Poli (Old Town) . The staff is very kind, helpful and quiet but no intrusive. The breakfast buffet is very versatile and of high quality. On the mesanine there is a cozy lobby with a library where you can rest with a book in silence or read your favorite news from the internet. There is pleasant cofee room downstairs with a street view. We had definitely a very pleasant stay at this hotel and we are sure next time we shall stay in it again.

The service staff was enthusiastic and prepared small gifts for us; good location, located in the old town, ten minutes walk to the sea (many restaurants and bars by the sea, lively); new decoration, clean and quiet! Breakfast provided. The disadvantage is that the hot water is slow to come out and the water temperature is not very stable. Overall there are 90 points.

Everything about this brilliant hotel has exceeded every of our (kinda high) expectations: - Team: Every single member of the modernist hotel team was super cool and attentive. Special thanks to Nikos & Konstantina 😍 - Breakfast: Huge variety of extremely well done dishes, fresh local products & lovely ladies running the show ☕️🥐🥯 - Location: Couldn’t be better, totally central yet not noisy at all ✅ - Facilities: We chose that hotel for its urban legend vibe, location, value for money, parking access and last but not least pet friendliness. Not only they welcome us and our dogs with yummy treats when we arrived we walked into a fab room with a dog bed (per dog) which was definitely posher than ones we have at home 🐾 - Hotel: Super high ceiling elegantly, recently and brilliantly refurbished. Everything is brand new, super efficient and you definitely get more than you need 🥇 - Room: Well, from the quality of the materials, linens and so on our rooms had one of those showers you don’t want to walk out from 🔝 Overall we can’t wait to visit this favorite hotel and lovely city again 🤞🏩❤️

My favourite hotel when on business I love the Capsis hotel. First of all I can easily access the main areas of the city - the trendy docks, the Jewish district, the shopping centre and train station, it’s just perfectly placed. Secondly I always get a great room that is spacious and clean and has all the biz facilities to be able to conduct my work in the evenings. A big desk and importantly good. Thirdly the buffet breakfast is MASSIVE!! I love good choice and the choice here is simply marvellous and caters for big appetites as well as small, It’s a great all rounder and I would recommend this to anyone searching for a Thessaloniki stay.

5 points to the hotel, 5 points Ctrip service, 0 points to the agent. I made a wrong date. Although it is a single item that cannot be changed, Ctrip is very active in helping to contact the agent. It is fast and has excellent service. On the same day, I will pay for the check-in at the hotel. I will contact Ctrip to change the day of the wrong decision to tomorrow. However, the agent is running the train full of mouths. Tell me what the hotel says is no room, no change date. When can't we speak English? At the front desk of the hotel, people say that they can change. The agent said to ask again, the result is still the same, lying. I wanted to give up. After all, I was careful to make a wrong date. I spent another extra night, and the hotel said that I was wrong for a day. They changed the date directly to me! It is not expensive to pay for the hotel at the hotel, 65 euros, I would rather go directly to the hotel to book and not let the agent earn my money. This hotel is a small room, nothing else, good location, highly recommended! The breakfast was excellent.

Decent hotel, above our expectations! The hotel is not located in the heart of the city, but a 15 mins walking distance. At night, we were taking the cab to get back to the hotel. It felt safer. Being a Spire Elite member, was upgraded to one of their King Junior Suites. Super King mattress and plenty of pillows! Smart TVs and Nespresso machine were also provided. Junior Suites do not come with balconies which is strange, taking into account that many of their Standard rooms get one.. Room amenities: Tea bags: Only camomile tea was provided in the room - more options should have been provided, as well as hot chocolate sachets. The bathroom was very basic and in need of a refurbishment. At least, a jetted bathtub was expected in a suite. Did not like the shower curtain idea - although they are in every Holiday Inn i have stayed in.. The hotel is definitely not 5* and definitely not a luxurious property (after all It's a Holiday Inn brand), but for 15000 points per night, it sure works! In general there are not many luxury properties available in Thessaloniki, and sure the IHG needs to add some luxury options there.. Breakfast was very good and the young waitress was very sweet and polite. Hotel needs renovation, but I would definitely stay there again!

we stayed at the Caravan for three nights in July 2022, in summary, we had a Wonderfull time. A memorable experience. as I wrote in the title, it is the team that runs this place that made our stay memorable. Location is excellent, within short walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the market. The rooms are large and well appointed, no coffee machine but you don't really need one, just go to reception and order your hot/cold Latte, which are very good Breakfast was excellent with personalized service. checkin-out was simple and efficient. if you arrive by car, the parking is across the street (one way street, so plan ahead). parking is $12/night and it is separate from the hotel, you do have to keep your keys with the parking attendant. The team running this place is amazing, helpful, courteous and will go the extra mile to ensure you're having an amazing experience. Thessaloniki is a wonderful city and our stay at The Caravan made it even better, I will not hesitate recommending The Caravan, we will definitely be back. Thank you again The Caravan team.

In my many years of traveling from one country to another, it is ofttimes rare to find lodging which meets my specifications to such a degree that it is hard to tell if one is actually living at home, and without further ado, let me acclaim the Vergina Hotel as such a place, for it is not only a very fine establishment in itself, but also exceeds my expectations as to what a hotel should be like, which is as it should be, what with the clean and immaculate rooms of which there are quite a few, very comfortable beds which I can personally attest to, and a very kind and courteous staff which is very attentive to one's wants and needs, which makes it all the more appealing for those who look for such things in a hotel setting, especially if you are a weary traveler seeking solace after a very tiring and taxing trip, which in this case the Vergina Hotel makes no exceptions, allowing the client to enjoy the comforts of a very reputable institution which stands out among the other hotels in the city, and welcoming everyone with a graceful smile and offering old- fashioned hospitality which is all but lost these days. So it is with the heartiest of recommendations that I write this review, being that I am a traveler, after all, and that the Vergina Hotel suits my needs just fine, what with a scrumptious breakfast which is offered as the morning fare enough to satisfy even the most die-hard of seasoned and worldly travelers, and with that said and done, you will no doubt enjoy staying here, and who knows, maybe even fall in love with the place as I have. See you at the Vergina Hotel!

Spent a weekend at the Colors Urban in one of the Partial Sea View Rooms, with breakfast. The hotel has an excellent location a few blocks from Aristoteleos Sq with great shopping and eating options at its doorstep. It's literally next to the Ladadika district with all the cool bars and tavernas / restaurants. The hotel also has a great cafe / bar which is open all day. Breakfast was served buffet style with excellent hot and cold options. It's 10 Euros if not included in your rate but well worth it. There is a also a separate brunch, lunch and dinner menu. Think it's called The Garden Bar and it has a website with the menus and photos. It was packed with locals when I had lunch on Saturday. Hotel guests get a discount. The room was superb with light infiltrating the space creating a feeling of calm as I crashed on the queen size bed after the flight. Bed was comfy with good quality linen and 4 fluffy pillows. The aircon worked well too and cooled the room fast despite the sunlight and 36C heat outside. The large windows open onto a small balcony but not sure the balcony is for use. Looked nice though and quite Parisian. The bathroom is modern with a walk in waterfall shower and a huge designer sink and mirror. No bath in my room (which was fine by me as I prefer showers). Shampoo / body wash are provided as is a hair dryer. The towels were on the bed with welcome chocolates on top which is a nice gesture. Bathrobes are also provided but I didn't use them. The rooms have sealed windows but some noise does make it in. I personally liked this as it reminded me I was in the middle of a city. Ear plugs are provided but I didn't need to use them but it was a nice gesture. There is a small desk with enough space for a laptop. Not a huge work space but it's there if you need it with lots of power sockets nearby. There is also a safe. The room is actually a nice space to relax. The mini-bar had reasonably priced soft drinks and wine and snacks and you can ask for ice from the cafe/bar downstairs. I chilled for an hour with an iced drink on one of the big armchairs looking out the window covered in sunlight. The TV has local and international channels. It's moveable so that it can be watched from both the bed and armchairs. The hotel has a great aura. It's in a historic building but recently renovated and it feels like you're not in a generic business hotel bit somewhere with personality. The lobby is small but there is a couch if you need to wait for a cab or someone. I guess this is a limitation of the old building. The staff are all super friendly, both at the reception and the cafe. There was a great relaxed vibe on arrival which stayed during my stay and I was sad to leave. I highly recommend Colors Urban in Thessaloniki. Superb value at less than 90 Euros per night in July which is great for this quality. Will be back soon I hope!

We stayed at the Davitel for 3 nights Orr a city break in Thessaloniki. The hotel is located just on the other side of the main roads through Thessaloniki, but having said that it was never more than a 35 minute walk to all of the main sights. Checking in was very straightforward. We could check in from 12 midday which was great. The rooms were of a good size for couples, with a mini bar and safe but no tea/coffee making facilities. The mini bar prices were very reasonable (€0.80 for a 500ml bottle of still water). The free WiFi had excellent connection and speed. The bathroom came with shampoo/shower gel bottles and soap bars with a built in hairdryer. The air conditioning was very strong (maybe a little too strong) but welcome in the heat. Breakfast buffet included both hot and cold items, and was of a very good variety. There was sausage/bacon, scrambled eggs, pastries, fruit, cereals, olives, cold cut meats/cheese, tea/coffee and juices. The hotel bar was also reasonably priced for hot and cold drinks.

This was our first time in this city the hotel was very nice the Gentlemen at the front desk when we came in upgraded us to a junior suite because the problem of the pick up service that they arranged !!!the evening lady I did not get her name was extremely helpful and guided us to two really great restaurants the breakfast were adequate I would recommend that they put labels on the food so I know what I’m eating instead I have to ask every time what it is since this is not my kind of breakfast food that I am exposed to most of the time!!! The spa I wish they had a separate place for me to review the spa I would give it no stars ⭐️ the spa which they lure you in by offering you an extra 10 free minutes I tried I was very very disappointed I was supposed to be getting a deep tissue massage all that guy did was rub no deep tissue massage I complain to him a couple times even he walked out for five minutes ( what was that about) which is very unusual I complain to the woman who is in charge she said that she would give me another one the next day to make up for it I certainly wasn’t going to expose myself to another massage after that experience for €55 that was a waste of my moneyI even asked her if they were all certified she said yes !!! my advice is avoid massages at this hotel

We were the casualty of the AMOMA debacle as have many hotels & customers... this was the first of 3 hotels we booked via AMOMA for our European holiday and even though we booked back in June AMOMA never paid the hotels and cancelled our bookings without any notification so when we arrived at The Egnatia Hotel not only did we not have our booking but it meant we had to pay all over again! The staff were amazing, they of course had to charge us, so we paid for the room twice but they charged us the original price we paid rather than the almost doubled room rate (we also happened to be there on a very big festival weekend) Our room was clean, tidy & the bed was very comfy, the staff were friendly & the location is great as it’s walking distance to some great restaurants & bars as well as the white tower/city centre. The location of the hotel did not say, walking ten minutes past the Frankfurt exhibition, it was very close. There are many Chinese restaurants, shopping malls, and dm cosmetics supermarkets around, so you can meet your shopping needs by the way. Hygiene is very good, but the staff around the train station is more complicated, there are more black people, and paying more attention to safety is not a problem. The hotel is good, but the price tripled during the exhibition, so book in advance

Good price to quality ratio. Central and nice service. Small reception and basically small boutique feel all round, but fine. Rooms are nothing special but clean, confortable and large. Aircon is good. Bathrooms are functional. We were put in a suite room, which is perhaps not as big as our children's room, so taking a superior room is fine. Service is fine and friendly. The one big negative is breakfast and the hard bed. Covid means in room service, so may not help, but coffee is unrecognisable and eggs are ...well not really eggs. But honestly I would not hold this against the hotel. The bed is really hard, so be prepared... Conclusion: recommended for the boutique style, location and service. Parking is also round the corner and definitely recommended, but be aware driving in very, very narrow streets takes a lot of experience...

We stayed at The Excelsior Hotel in June 2022 and it was fabulous. It was our first-ever trip to Greece and we chose extremely well and hit the jackpot with this hotel. The room was clean and had everything you needed, the only one thing I would change was the Bathroom door which does not close completely like a normal bathroom door, more like a fitting room door but as we were a couple it did not bother us that much. The staff there are all fantastic, so friendly from the big warm welcome to greet you every time you return from a day out sightseeing or a night out dining and always so helpful. Breakfast was delicious, Cooked so fresh every morning and enough choice for anybody. The Staff serving was always so happy and upbeat even when we were breakfasting early to head out on a tour. We had a 3rd-floor room, street-facing which from reading other reviews worried me slightly about being kept awake but to be honest we never missed any sleep as we could not hear the bar across the road at all. The location is perfect, it is near to everything including a wide choice of Restaurants, Bars, and Shops. It is within walking distance for the tour pick-ups also which is brilliant. We had a corner junior suite overlooking Aristotle square. Spacious, bright and comfortable. Buffet Breakfast on the 7th floor balcony was extensive with view of the square and Bay. Located a couple of minutes from multiple restaurants and a block from Thessaloniki’s main high fashion shopping street. Value for price is exceptional. We moved on to luxury hotels in Santorini and Paros that are admittedly more luxurious and pampering but not worth 5-10 times the price of this hotel. Highly recommended!
