Possumwood Cottage is a studio accomodation located behind your hosts main residence and set in the midst of 1300 square metres of blue mountains garden. Possumwood is only 600 metres from Leura mall and Leura train station, so no matter what mode of travel brings you to the Blue Mountains, youu will not have to worry about how to get here. The studio is completely self contained and open plan. Two king single beds with extra quilts and pillows available. All linens are provided. Ensuite bathroom (no bathtub) - towels provided as well as Sukin shampoos, conditioner, body and hand wash. Kitchenette with mini fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee plunger, fresh ground coffee and a variety of teas and hot chocolate. The hotel is the oldest house in the town, and it has a lot of history.
The hall below is open as a public space, and it feels especially good to drink wine by the fireplace at night.
It is within walking distance of the train station, but it is in the opposite direction of the town's commercial street. If you are alone, it is a bit panic to walk back to the hotel at night. The advantage is that it is very quiet.FromDKK 607

Perfect location you can walk from Leaura Station and across the street walk around 150 m.only. Nerby has a lot of restaurants and shops. Rooms is big and beds feel really comfortable. Toilet is good and feel warm,beds has heat electric so you don 't feel cool during sleep time. Our family really love the hotel. I would suggest you to stay here if you travel by train.FromDKK 643

Very close to Leura Village which was great!
The shower floor could have been cleaned better. A hygiene seal on the toilet would have been great.
Great reception service.Polite and friendly.
An uncomfortable bed, felt like I was sliding off the mattress when lying down. There were plates and mugs available but no bowls. A small packet of biscuits would be nice too.
The patio door was left unlocked before I arrived. I didn't realise until I arrived back in my room.

The shower floor could have been cleaned better. A hygiene seal on the toilet would have been great.

An uncomfortable bed, felt like I was sliding off the mattress when lying down. There were plates and mugs available but no bowls. A small packet of biscuits would be nice too.
The patio door was left unlocked before I arrived. I didn't realise until I arrived back in my room.

The hall below is open as a public space, and it feels especially good to drink wine by the fireplace at night.

Possumwood Cottage is a studio accomodation located behind your hosts main residence and set in the midst of 1300 square metres of blue mountains garden. Possumwood is only 600 metres from Leura mall and Leura train station, so no matter what mode of travel brings you to the Blue Mountains, youu will not have to worry about how to get here. The studio is completely self contained and open plan. Two king single beds with extra quilts and pillows available. All linens are provided. Ensuite bathroom (no bathtub) - towels provided as well as Sukin shampoos, conditioner, body and hand wash. Kitchenette with mini fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee plunger, fresh ground coffee and a variety of teas and hot chocolate. No oven or stove as cooking not permitted but food is easily heated and lunches and breakfasts prepared in your kitchenette. We visited during the Australian school holidays, so the hotel was fully booked. The hotel is quite large, and although the facilities are a bit older, it's very family-friendly. I'm not sure if it was because we booked through Ctrip, but our breakfast was arranged in the VIP area, which offered superb views. A 1.5-hour hike from behind the hotel to see the Blue Mountains is also an excellent option. Highly recommended!FromDKK 864

There is a small children’s playground outside. I also played table tennis with my husband. The supply has not yet started. The parking lot has to go up to the hotel. It takes a lot of effort to move large luggage. The water in the bathroom was not very hot when the third person was washed immediately. But in general, our family had a good night. If it snows in the Blue Mountains next winter, we will come and play. The hotel opened by the Chinese, support, hope to get better and better!
