We were warmly welcomed by Ms. Bibina with drinks and towels, a great first impression. The Bonzer Restaurant closed earlier than expected, so we tried room service breakfast instead. The mushroom soup was tasty, though the coffee latte was cold and the pasta too spicy for my like. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, that I can agree meeting good 3 star standards. Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly service.

The location for this hotel is superb. There is 7-11 just next to the hotel, and there are lots of eateries nearby. The famous Dim Sum also located nearby.

The location is quite convenient, with Chinese-run tea restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet is good. The staff are very friendly, and the rooftop pool and gym are great, offering a nice view of the sunset! It's not far from the supermarket and Canada Hill. I recommend climbing Canada Hill for city views; there's also an oil museum to visit inside.

Check in was quick and smooth, and the reception staff were courteous and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and the bedding was comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. The hotel has taken steps towards sustainability, and we appreciated the unlimited filtered water provided, which reduced the need for bottled water. The breakfast spread was excellent with a good variety of options, and we really enjoyed that part of the stay. A couple of points to note. The air conditioning in the room was not very strong, and we did feel a bit warm at times. The hairdryer was also on the weaker side, which made drying hair slow. Overall, a comfortable stay with good service and a strong breakfast offering, with minor improvements that could make the experience even better.

I write to compliment on their counter reception trainee by the name ” Rachel” who provided a textbook example on what is Great Customer Service. the moment I walked in, she was ready, eager to serve and readied with a smile. Seriously, I didnt expect too much from this hotel - as long the aircon is cold (not quite - the room I got wasnt, other stay it was okay. Gotta remember the hotel is quite aged), the shower is hot (it's not - this is notoriously common, again I gotta remember this is a aged hotel) and I can get my parking (most days, I can get it. But this hotel runs functions and the dinner guest will occupy ALL the spots - the hotel dont do a good job for those hotel staying guest). I dont usually leave reviews - but Rachel is impressive I just have to leave one to compliment her service.

The location very centrally to miri city,the reception she very helpful like to day had small incident with the Grab driver(language barrier) immediately she was ready to sort it with the professionalism and help,thank you sorry i did not get her name but the one with masked. The cleaning everyday in the room with new towel and the best smell towel ever cross around hotels. The in-house hotel called The Yard very handy to the customer's especially now the rainy season in Malaysia.

Located middle of the city centrally but sadly nothing surrounding seems to be attractive to us. Hotel are old and requiring some maintenance. Swimming is small and crowded. Gyms are aging with squeaky noises and need urgent lubricants. WiFi was extremely poor and connection was very slow. Surprisingly breakfast was very good. Staff are friendly.

It is so easy to book this hotel through ***********. I checked in to this facility for one night stay. No deposit required, easy check out too. Apart from the basic toiletries, hairdryer and iron with iron board is provided too. We get 2 single beds which view is facing the hallway but it was nice though because we can see the light. Not too far from airport which cost us only Rm11. Did not get to try their breakfast otherwise quite satisfied with my stay and their service

Superb location. Nearby to shopping malls. Convenience store nearby. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and polite. Room is clean, space is just right.

it was my more than 3x stays at Meritz and it was completely incredible , not just about the connecting door to the mall , also about the safety. im highly recommended to stay here if you’re lazy to go anywhere cause the mall just beside u 😆. not even 10 step u took from the hotel to reach the mall.And for the services , everything was good till i order for room service , i dont know why the lady that answer my phone didn’t talk in appropriate tone.i hope they fix how they should be communicate to the guest.
