The room on the first floor had a musty smell, and the room management leader said that it was a good room for the second floor. Not far from the beach and the whale watching pier. I don't know about the food. I don't know if it's because there are too many restaurants on the beach, but it seems that no one is eating in the hotel. I ordered a takeaway breakfast before 6 am, which was considered punctual. I went downstairs 5 minutes earlier and there was no one at the front desk, haha. The hot water for the shower can only come from the ceiling-mounted showerhead, and the handheld shower can only give hot water. I asked the hotel to come to the room to check it out, and waited for 30 minutes. It was called twice, and it was confirmed that hot water only came from one end.From€53

Mirissa Gate is an excellent hotel with a fantastic team managing. Everyone was so nice, incredibly helpful and they felt more like family members by the end of the stay. Nothing was too much trouble. There were days we missed breakfast time and they still made us a huge buffet breakfast! They organised our trips we wanted to do and they even upgraded our room for free, for no reason. It was just avaliable! Out of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka, this was our favourite. It is right on the beach and not far from the famous mirissa beach which is either a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute tuk tuk ride, which the hotel help organised too. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. SOLD OUT

Мы пешком доходили до parrot rock, она совсем рядом, а также, в относительно шаговой доступности находится coconut tree hill. Вдоль береговой линии много кафешек с лежаками. Купались в левой части побережья, ближе к parrot rock, там волны меньше. У отеля есть своя парковка, а также ресторан.From€93

Amazing view of the ocean from our room - the property sits right in front of the ocean. From the verandah in front of your room, you can watch the waves the whole day, there is no need to go to any of the beaches in Mirissa. Breakfast was delicious too, and they even cooked the fish we caught (for a fee). However, don't expect the same creature comforts of an international 4 or 5 star hotel despite being priced higher. The furniture is also rather dated and the room was not very clean. Overall a decent and memorable experience.From€259

Lived a couple of three days. A small simple hotel. Comfortably located across the road from the beach, right opposite Parrot Rock. Very kind hostess and her husband, always helped in all requests. Delicious breakfasts. Behind the window - the proteins jump and the birds sing, everything in green, the cafe. On the beach every day release newborn turtles. There is a reef with fish near the popuga rock. Only burn the cream from the sun, we were very quickly burned and sat in the room, good is air conditioning and fan.
If you go right as you go on the road, there is a high staircase to the temple with a view across the district.

There is a mini beach near the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, more than one kilometer to the main beach, or take a sudden car, the room is not small, you can really see the sea view, health, in a few days in Sri Lanka, I am used to it. I don't know if it's because there are too many restaurants on the beach, but it seems that no one is eating in the hotel. I ordered a takeaway breakfast before 6 am, which was considered punctual. I went downstairs 5 minutes earlier and there was no one at the front desk, haha. The hot water for the shower can only come from the ceiling-mounted showerhead, and the handheld shower can only give hot water. I asked the hotel to come to the room to check it out, and waited for 30 minutes. It was called twice, and it was confirmed that hot water only came from one end.
