The hotel next to the pier is not the same as the domestic intercontinental. There are two buildings on both sides of the road. The bridge is connected to the sky. The rooms are clean and there are fireplaces. It is convenient to eat in multiple restaurants next to the hotel.

It is one of the best resort hotels in the town. Very good location not far from the pier of Guanlan. There is a peets coffee hotel in the hotel. It can be settled here. Breakfast is opened very early. Checkin is given to the restaurant coupon at the pier. When you go to dinner, the appetizer is oversized. The town is very cold in the morning and evening.

Very good, worth recommending! First, after arriving at the hotel entrance, give the car key. Not only help with parking, but also for free! Some incredible, it is a very good experience! Secondly, the room was very warm and comfortable, and it was completely old without being used for a long time. Moreover, just at the seaside, almost zero-distance contact with the seabirds, opening the window and seeing the dolphins in the sea not far away, very rare! In addition, the western restaurant downstairs in the hotel must be tried and made very delicious!

The hotel is very nice, not far from the city center and the aquarium. There is a park nearby for a few minutes. Many children play in the swimming pool and SPA pool. Children will not be cold when swimming, but the soundproofing is not good. Almost, you have to order the breakfast yourself and pay for it, but it is exquisite and tastes good. We ordered three ➕ tips about 40 dollars. There is a Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel

There are pros and cons all of which are really good or really bad but i would be unlikely to return Pros Location is sensational, walking into the lobby with views of ocean was exciting stunning etc. You can watch the sunset from beach behind the hotel and its beautiful The food was very nice in the breakfast area and staff were lovely The reception staff were very nice If you had an ocean facing view it was stunning but why no chairs at room doors to look out Got to see dolphins swimming in water next to hotel The cons Room one was dark and damp and smelled. We put shower on and our carpet in next room became very wet as did all our items on floor. We did get switched rooms and it smelled much better but in truth its a bit dated One lady checked into her room to find another family already in the room The stairs are awful all rusted and the trash by the end staors smelled and was attracting flies to the point we avoided Inland facing rooms were very noisy as its right off busy road Blackout blinds let in lots of light same in both rooms we had Its a bit out from the main part of Monterey In all the hotel has such potential with such an outstanding location and the restaurant and lobby areas fill you with such promise but felt very let down by the room not what would be expected at this price point at all Would go elsewhere if returning to monterey

The hotel is on the east side of the Monterey Peninsula, two blocks from the beach and close to the aquarium. The location is good. The hotel is a courtyard-style layout with rooms with balconies, suitable for leisure vacations. The room facilities are generally good, but the air conditioner has a problem. It was cold when we checked in. The room temperature was always only 63-64 degrees Fahrenheit, and the blankets were very thin. I also needed extra blankets to find a hotel. We are unfamiliar with the fireplace to solve the problem. The hotel's underground parking lot (actually on the first floor) is large. But parking costs $ 16. Breakfast was ok and service was good.

The first time I stayed in a motel, it was better than expected. It was close to the road. Breakfast had cereal and fruit... The front desk service was also very good. I forgot the access card in the room and immediately gave it another one. I just don't know why the front desk paid for this hotel when I checked in and it was based on the invoice. Ctrip told me that I didn't check in and charged me once again. I have contacted Ctrip for several days and have not resolved it. It seems that Ctrip can no longer be trusted. Everyone should be careful in the future. Fortunately, I asked for an invoice this time. Otherwise, how can I prove that I have moved in? If there is no proof, I must Solving is more difficult.

As a hotel next to the road, the facilities are super intimate. There is a self-service washing machine and an outdoor heated pool. After a day of rushing, the renovation here is still good. The only downside is that there are no supermarket convenience stores nearby. The hotel's canteen is also general. However, there was a microwave in the room. We were on the road in a hurry. Otherwise, we would buy microwave food in the commissary in the morning. It is good to eat in the room and then walk.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Monterey Bay Inn and we absolutely love it! Reservation- I recommend that you call direct to make reservations or call them direct after you make online reservation for any requests or changes. The 1st time we stayed there in February it was for our anniversary. We requested a nice quiet room away from elevator n a higher floor and they accommodated us. They even had left a nice little welcome gift for us when we arrived for our anniversary. I requested the same or similar room for our 2nd stay and they were very accommodating for that also. Parking and Check-in- There's a sign for you to park 1st before you check in, and it's a nice covered self-parking area ($24 and you are allowed to park for a few hours after checkout)- they even have a few charging stations for those of you that have electric cars. Front desk staff were very efficient, quick and knowledgeable about check-in process and parking. And they offer in-lobby cookies, too :) As others have stated, they do not have a big lobby area, but if you have an Ocean or Harbor view room, that's where you're going to want to hang out, or if there for the aquarium or Cannery Row, you'll be out. Room- We would recommend the Harbor view rooms on the 4th floor with a balcony (never been in the Ocean View, so can't say if better) as you can get a view of the wharf, fishing boats, beach with waves against rocks and people watching. In-room binoculars are provided to watch the comings and goings of boats, divers and sea life. Last time we were there we were able to watch a pod of dolphins. You can also hear sea lions at night when it's quiet. Noise- Some have reviewed that you can hear the Cannery Row traffic, but we had found that it really wasn't that bad and did not detract from the peace, Particularly if you request a room nearer the Harbor. I also really appreciated that this lodging is at the end of Cannery Row and so in general it is quieter with less foot traffic than it would be from a hotel in the middle of Cannery Row. Amenities- We also really enjoyed the 4th floor hot tub on the corner with the harbor and ocean views. It is open quite late, which is unusual for some hotels, so we had plenty of time after dinner to take a dip. There is also a second hot tub on the 2nd floor (that does not have an ocean view), and there is a nice open air patio area next to it with chairs and a fire pit (we did not utilize that area while there) Breakfast- Again, some people have mentioned that there is no restaurant on site or room service, but their breakfast was very fresh and if you are good with a light breakfast like we are, then it's perfect. This included yogurt, hard boiled egg, fresh fruit, juice, warm muffins and coffee. Check-out- Simplified checkout- you dial the front desk and let them know you're checking out and they email you your receipt. Overall- This is a very nice, affordable, clean, safe, relaxing place to stay on th

We just spent the weekend here and the best thing is the location. Great restaurant's within steps of the hotel and just a 5 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and a great promenade walk along the ocean that go's forever passing Cannery Row and places to stop for breakfast or just coffee. The hotel was built in 1904 and had great antiques but if we stayed there again, we'd request to be in the new building, the one you see the photo's of more modern furnishings. The older part is old and our bed was awful but we saw that they were replacing all the mattresses wishing they'd replace ours. I think we'd stay there again, but in the new building.

Staying here after playing 17miles, it is a motel, two floors, like a domestic dormitory, but the interior room is still relatively large and clean. On the second floor, I have to carry my own suitcase and there is no elevator. Before the reservation, I thought the location was very biased. In fact, the surrounding area was quite prosperous and the transportation was convenient. Breakfast is relatively simple, and eating is not a problem. Free parking, no parking in the courtyard, just stop outside the road.

Janette who checked us in is super friendly and helpful (we chose a restaurant recommendation from her list which was great!). She had shifted some rooms so that we could be next door to the couple we were traveling with which was convenient and much appreciated. The hotel was clean, a great value and a short walk from the heart of downtown. Because it is at a major intersection, the road noise could be heard including some early morning (garbage?) trucks. Internet was spotty and the shower water pressure could be better but despite these issues, I would return again.

Hotel location is very good, just on the side of the road, there is a parking lot, there is a large supermarket opposite the road, there are a lot of food to buy. Hotel facilities are good, the hotel does not have toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, you need to bring your own. The room air conditioner is noisy. Breakfast is simple, but still nutritious, full of milk, yogurt, waffles, bread, cereal, orange juice, fruit and more. When I booked a room, I booked a twin suite for my friends. The feeling is that the Indians opened the hotel, and the hallway and the room have a scent of Indian oil. We arrived at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and immediately sent us a check in. Friendly staff, solid location, decent WiFi and generally clean and has the basics down. Better for sightseeing than for those staying in, I think. Quick things to note: they don't allow late checkouts, just fyi, but otherwise you just drop your keys in a box to check out. The vending machines are also located in an open area, which is nice for when I visited but could become an issue if it's raining... The balconies are really nice, and the location is insanely convenient. It's about 10ish minutes to walk to the aquarium, and it's a block (or half, if you go out the back!) to the waterfront. There's solid food and sightseeing options here too. They do have a decent parking lot, but there's a ton you can see in Monterey by walking, and this hotel is perfect for a lot of those. What's missing here: a common dining area and breakfast, for one. Rooms aren't cramped but most furnishing is basic. Don't expect anything fancy, essentially. All that said, it's a solid choice if you're actually going out and sightseeing vs spending tons of time here. And if you do, they have some pretty nice patios and some rooms have balconies overlooking a trail.

Sandar the front desk agent is a jack of all trades. Electrical issues he addressed. He is the man in charge and makes things right. Hotel is one of a kind. Half of the hotel is very quiet, the other side picks up early morning traffic. I like the way the stairs are laid out, faster than the elevator. Climbing the stairs reminds me of myself as young boy climbing into a tree house. Etchings in wood of John Steinbeck ad to the allure. Steinbeck wrote Cannery Row from near by. Walking distance to all tourist points of interest. Cannery Row is at your footsteps. The winding walking/jogging path is where the steam locomotive use to run. Doc Rickets made famous in Cannery Row was struck my a locomotive next to the hotel. Doc did the hear the sound as the muffler was out in his car. Steinbeck did not make it back before he died. Something he regretted all his life he told me. Breakfast was average. Sad no cream cheese for the bagels. Tobacco too would have been nice for the eggs. I did enjoy two bowels of strawberry cereal, even us big kids The food trays were never empty, as the attendant kept a close eye upon them. Kids love this one of a kind climbing up and down the carpeted stairs. Families leave before 9 and return after 5. Courtyard hosts a pole with a paper seagale. The sound of real seagales are refreshing while dressing for breakfast. Nature is all around you. Sea lions as you walk along the waters edge, who needs the acquarium!!! Monterey's old Presidio is nearby. Lighthouse street is so called for at one time a working lighthouse was at the end of it. Despite the faults I look to return. Hotel was booked last night, a good sign that it is in demand. Lobby is well lite, clean like the rooms and hallways. Bedding is quite comfortable, though a little high off the floor. At the edge of the twins beds are very nice seating areas. Parking is easy, right in front of check in. Relax, enjoy the hospitality of all who work here. Check in was a breeze. This hotel is as unique as the characters out of Steinbeck's Cannery Row.

Monterrey is a beautiful place. 17 miles is a huge park-like beach range. You can drive in for a long time with a ticket of 10.25 knives. It is mainly a seascape beach, golfing, and many private territories. Don’t drive in. Otherwise it will be miserable by shooting! Hotel management is very good, the room is clean, the bed is clean and odorless, parking is very convenient in front of the room! And the maintenance of the building is very good, you can't find a place like the dead corner that makes you uncomfortable, which is too different from the domestic... The hotel is on the side of the road, but the signboard is relatively small, I took two laps. Looking for a simple breakfast but good quality, delicious taste, can be brought back to the room with a paper plate to eat slowly, but don't be too greedy to take too much, our face and impression need everyone's efforts to maintain... overall very satisfied, It is too expensive in the peak season... The hotel in Monterey is really expensive, probably because it is the first stop of many self-driving highways 1, plus weekends, it costs almost 1,000 yuan to live in such a motel. There are various motels along the street where the hotel is located. This one is at the end of the street. Not far away is the shopping area, and driving to town is not far away. The hotel is an open space with free parking. No breakfast. The room is not big, the facilities and equipment are relatively old, and it has some taste.
