What's the most important thing in traveling? It is of course a high-quality accommodation for the hotel control. The EKHO hotel is on the edge of Eller town, not far from the main street, making it easy to travel. The characteristics of a good hotel are: clean, quiet, comfortable and modern, rich breakfast, and warm staff. Seems very ordinary ... However, isn't it very unusual to encounter a hotel without regret during the trip. ok, for the fun of travel, recommend it!

I have to admit, we absolutely loved our stay here. The people were so accommodating and friendly. The location is on a steep hill, most cars won't make it up but walking down and up takes about 5 minutes or a tub tuk can get you there. The view is amazing and worth the walk. It's so close to the main road and close to main attractions (about 20min walk) the room was comfortable, warm, clean. The breakfast was some fruit, with eggs made according to your choice, some toast and they even let us try the coconut pancakes which were so yummy. Everything was amazing. We were so happy there and will definitely stay there again.

It's close to the station so you can walk if you don't have a lot of luggage. The location is good. There is no cooler probably because the location of the hotel is cool. Also, it was cold at night because there were no hangings such as blankets. Also, the amount of water in the shower was small and lukewarm. However, the staff was kind.

On a hillside, the road is extremely difficult to find. Opposite is the woods, there are monkeys, squirrels, birds, very ecological, so there must be mosquitoes. No air conditioning, the toilet light changed, and the boss could not be found. There is no front desk, it is an uncle who runs his own business. He wants breakfast and coffee. He is very arrogant, and the uncle is scared to run down the stairs and scare me!

It’s a little high up on a hill, but the view from my balcony was gorgeous. It’s also right off the main street, so if you don’t mind the trek up and down you’re still relatively well-situated to be near the backpackers’ bars and restaurants and shops. Breakfast had a lot of local Sri Lankan options which I greatly appreciated, and staff was also happy to explain each dish to newcomers. A small piece of advice for the team though: perhaps hire a few female staffers? As a woman traveling alone, one of the first things I noticed was the all-male staff—or at least, I didn’t see a single woman working there in my 2-night stay. I don’t have a problem with it, but newer solo female travelers might unintentionally be scared off

The female owner's hospitality was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay. She gave us information about local sightseeing spots, and when we told her we were going to Kandy next, she also shared some of the highlights there, making this a fond memory of our trip to Sri Lanka. We got caught in the rain while sightseeing in Ella, and when we arrived at the inn soaking wet, the warm Ceylon tea she had prepared for us was delicious and comforting. It was a perfect stay without any complaints, and we'll come again.

We stay here for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience! The rooms were clean and tidy, we got fresh towels each day and new bottles of water! They were happy to tidy the room each day which was the first time we had this on our whole journey in Sri Lanka so was a lovely extra touch for us but we were happy with just new towels and water! They are currently renovating downstairs to build a restaurant so we were a little confused when we first arrived but this did not take away from the experience of the hotel, the staff were super friendly and accommodating! The hotel is in the perfect location on the main road through Ella with bars, restaurants and shops everywhere! With the train station a short 5 min walk everything is accessible. We would 100% recommend to stay here for your trip to Ella

Very good place to stay with awesome views. The staff took great care off us. Only downside to gaving good views the location is quite far from the city centre. So pick me and uber drivers won't take any rides since the app prices are way cheaper so no choice but to pay tourist fares. Room as an electric fan but AC would have been nice.

Good for value. The location is very good, it’s at end of the town, convenient to go hiking and the restaurants. It’s quiet at night. The room is very clean. The owner is friendly. He gave us a pot of tea to welcome us when we arrive. Also he provided us the bus schedule information and advices for the time in Ella. It will better if there is a kettle so we can try Ceylon tea we bought.

Что хорошо: гостеприимство хозяина настолько сыграло большую роль, что мы почувствали себя своими,как у самых доброжелательных и искренних родственников. В номере чисто, есть все необходимое, вплоть до утюга, обогревателя, чайника, сушилки для вещей. Отель без изысков современных гостиниц (в нём нет супер модного ремонта или шикарного интерьера), но в нём чувствуется, что о комфорте гостей думают: в первую очередь потому, что мы заселились на сутки позже бронирования, нас к сожалению, по пути из Нувара-Элии в Эллу застал разгар циклона с проливным дождем, но хозяин лично нас встретил на пороге, попросил свою управляющую по кухне задержаться ради нас и приготовить еду. Хотя во время нашего заселения на завтрак по таймингу давно мы опоздали, и тем не менее, сотрудники вежливо подождали, позволив нам намокшим, замерзшим сначала принять горячий душ и переодеться, а потом молодой работник подал наш завтрак и сразу помог нам донести вещи до номера. В день, когда мы не смогли заселиться вовремя, с нами были на связи и предлагали помощь, чтобы мы смогли благополучно добраться до места назначения, просто арендованные байки оставляли нам мало вариантов для действий, чтобы эту помощь принять, хотя предложение с их стороны было бесценно. Как итог - персонал отеля отнесся к нам с пониманием и заботой. Поэтому Duet Hearts в наших сердцах действительно занял место для теплых и душевных воспоминаний. Завтрак простой, но голодными перед прогулкой по городу не останетесь точно. Удобно расположен для пеших маршрутов по Элле: есть выход и к туристическим улицам, и до девятиарочного моста мы ходили самостоятельно, не используя услуги такси. Из минусов: Подъездная дорога к отелю из ухабов, местами размытая почва, щебень, будьте осторожны в дождливую погоду, но проехать как самому, так и с водителем или пройти пешком - вполне реально. На территории отеля нет лоска в благоустройстве, но любоваться джунглями со второго этажа гостиницы нам этот нюанс не мешал. В этой Duet Hearts нам удалось почувствовать уют, умиротворение - hugge, несмотря на испытания мокрой погодой нон-стопом. Однозначно рекомендуем к посещению.

Honestly, if I hadn't found this hotel, I might have given up on Ella. There are so many ugly little guesthouses in Ella that I really didn't want to stay in. Turns out, I made the right choice! The hotel has excellent aesthetics; although it's not large, every detail is exquisite. The balcony is absolutely stunning! It perfectly matches the secluded scenery I had imagined! The pool is especially beautiful, and there are even net hammocks to lounge in! The hotel isn't accessible by car, so you'll need to transfer to a tuk-tuk. Just contact the hotel in advance.

This was my first time in this city and my stay here was amazing. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet, offering a full immersion in nature that you can't find in big cities. The hotel is on the hillside, with a good mountain view, the room bathroom is super large, the only room that is not damp in the 20 days of living in Sri Lanka, if there is air conditioning, it will be perfect.  It is more than 20 minutes' drive from Ella Town.  Ella is mostly sloped . It is basically a curved path to various hotels and homestays. It is very suitable for  people who want to be quarantined for a few days to live for a few days. I especially want to praise their service team. A few simple warm and friendly local boys, they really want to be good to every guest staying, thank you for the delicious breakfast.

This is the fifth hotel we have settled in Sri Lanka and, frankly, the best. A nice smell of fresh tree, clean, pleasant rooms, high ceilings and good air conditioning. And the main thing is blankets, not all hotels have blankets. We were met very welcoming, treated with coconuts. The only minus in this hotel is the hearing of neighbors. Very thin walls and at night are particularly uncomfortable, especially if neighbors lie late to sleep. The breakfast was very delicious and we were offered to try a delicious traditional breakfast from acute coconut straw with vegetables - very delicious. And here is a good coffee and very delicious ginger tea. I will definitely return to this hotel, it turned out to be a great addition to our visit to Ella.

Keeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Ella! We recently stayed at Bridge Front Inn and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything about this place is excellent. The staff here are incredibly attentive and friendly; they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We were greeted with a complimentary freshly made passion fruit juice, which was a delicious way to start our stay. The location is simply ideal — right next to the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, making it super convenient for exploring Ella's main attractions on foot. Although we didn't use their shuttle service because we weren't aware of it when booking, the owner kindly agreed to drive us to a restaurant one evening, showing true hospitality. The food was another highlight, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention as there is an enormous selection of dishes to choose from. Our room was spotlessly clean with fresh bed linen and brilliantly white towels. Highly recommended!

The location is simply ideal — right next to the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, making it super convenient for exploring Ella's main attractions on foot. Although we didn't use their shuttle service because we weren't aware of it when booking, the owner kindly agreed to drive us to a restaurant one evening, showing true hospitality. The food was another highlight, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention as there is an enormous selection of dishes to choose from. Our room was spotlessly clean with fresh bed linen and brilliantly white towels. Highly recommended!

When we originally booked there was only 1 review so we were hesitant to book but decided to anyway. It turned out to be the best decision and we couldn’t be happier. The room and view is absolutely beautiful. Watching the sunrise and hearing the birds from the big and comfortable balcony was a highlight of our trip. The hosts really thought of everything. They have a tuktuk service to take you into the city, the hotel is a few minutes walk from the nine arches, lots of amenities you might need, and delicious breakfast. We hope to stay again! Great accommodation! It's a bit far from the center, but they offer to pick you up and take you wherever you need to go. In fact, we had to go to the doctor, and the guy didn't leave our side until everything was sorted. Not to mention the amazing views of Ella from there. They were super friendly from the moment we arrived. Without a doubt, if I return to Ella, I'd stay at this hotel again.

What's the most important thing in traveling? It is of course a high-quality accommodation for the hotel control. The EKHO hotel is on the edge of Eller town, not far from the main street, making it easy to travel. The characteristics of a good hotel are: clean, quiet, comfortable and modern, rich breakfast, and warm staff. Seems very ordinary ... However, isn't it very unusual to encounter a hotel without regret during the trip. ok, for the fun of travel, recommend it!

Honestly, if I hadn't found this hotel, I might have given up on Ella. There are so many ugly little guesthouses in Ella that I really didn't want to stay in. Turns out, I made the right choice! The hotel has excellent aesthetics; although it's not large, every detail is exquisite. The balcony is absolutely stunning! It perfectly matches the secluded scenery I had imagined! The pool is especially beautiful, and there are even net hammocks to lounge in! The hotel isn't accessible by car, so you'll need to transfer to a tuk-tuk. Just contact the hotel in advance.

The view is the best as it is located at the top of Ella! .. However, due to the development around me, the road is narrow and the slope is severe, so it is exciting when going by car ㅜㅜ.. Only the first floor and some facilities are open because it is still under construction, and the ingredients are not ready yet.. The staff are friendly, but it's too much to get the price in the present condition.

The hotel is located halfway up a hill, requiring a turn off the main road onto a very narrow and steep path. A 7-seater car can't make it down, so you'll need to take a tuk-tuk. This guesthouse-style hotel has exceptionally friendly staff; they always greet you with a smile. It truly offered the best service throughout our entire Sri Lanka trip. The hotel views are indeed stunning, offering a clear sight of Little Adam's Peak. The food was decent; dinner wasn't a buffet but a set menu where you could choose from a few options, and the taste was fine. However, the rooms definitely need improvement. Firstly, pest control was inadequate; ants crawled on me several times while I was sleeping. Secondly, the bedsheets didn't feel very clean; they seemed unwashed and rather flimsy. Lastly, it would be much better if they provided a proper duvet instead of just a sheet and a blanket.

On a hillside, the road is extremely difficult to find. Opposite is the woods, there are monkeys, squirrels, birds, very ecological, so there must be mosquitoes. No air conditioning, the toilet light changed, and the boss could not be found. There is no front desk, it is an uncle who runs his own business. He wants breakfast and coffee. He is very arrogant, and the uncle is scared to run down the stairs and scare me!

Keeping in mind this is a 3 star hotel, the positives are the rooms are big with a balcony looking out at amazing views (ours anyway), and the pool is clean and quite big also with amazing views and a concrete elephant water feature!!! The location of the hotel is pretty good too - far enough from other properties to be quiet but close enough to Ella main drag that you can walk in 10-15 minutes or pay a tuk tuk driver double the rate of Colombo to get to and from. The big negative for us was that despite being told upon checking in that the room would be cleaned every day, it was not. And I was told the reason why was that we didn’t hand in our key for it to be done - which seems bizarre after staying in hotels for decades and not being told to or having to hand in a key in order to get a standard daily room clean. The insinuation that it was our fault for not handing in a key (not that we were told to do so on checking in) was extremely irritating. Food was ok but overpriced so we ate elsewhere (lots of options). There were lots of little things in the rooms that could be easily addressed to make them nicer - definitely not having ripped old bath towels, and removing an empty TV bracket from the wall (like a TV used to be there but not anymore - or was it just our room, who knows). All these little things add up to I really think the room rate is too high - but we are here in the high season so maybe that’s just the going rate.
