Nice old style grand hotel & well situated. Reception area is nice but check in was slow. I had rung & requested adjacent rooms - allocated rooms 132 & 134 presuming my request had been noted, disappointed to find that they were nowhere near one another. One room was large, bright & airy the other was small, dark & outdated 😩
Breakfast offered a good selection of food but service was chaotic.
Nice hotel but could be better organised and rooms need refurbishing.From$47

The location is great, but everything else is quite old and worn out. The service was quite bad, we did not have any towels or water bottles in our room. Upon asking, they said we are ‘supposed’ to get the towels from the receptions. And only the rooms with a fridge will have water bottles. Did not even offer to let us buy any bottles. As it was quite late when we realised we did not have any bottle of waters, luckily found a Co-op in 5 mins distance closing soon, we had to grab them from there.
The room had a partial sea view. But the bed was so noisy and squeaky even with the slightest movement. All the other furnitures were very old, no charging or plug points beside the bed.
If not for location, because the beach is quiet in front of the hotel, i wouldn’t have even considered it ever again.
One good thing about it was the swimming pool, it was very clean but the changing rooms could have been much better.
I have booked through Trip.com previously, so I know it has nothing to do with internet or 3rd party booking, it is just a very old hotel. And the pictures are quite deceiving.From$53

I recently stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Blackpool and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. My room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The hotel’s location is excellent, with lovely views and easy access to the seafront and local attractions. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the service was efficient throughout.
Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Blackpool.From$76

We were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance.From$76

The hotel is grand, but dated.
It’s in a lovely position on the promenade and Gynn Square tram stop directly opposite.
There is a Premier shop just around the corner for essential items.
The room wasn’t ready, despite me being quite a bit past check in time, but the staff quickly rectified in a friendly and efficient manner.
The room was adequate and clean. Great to have an iron and ironing board. Nice touch!
I didn’t eat there, but had plenty of bits to make a drink in room.
TV in room and felt quite at home with the distant sounds of the seagulls reminding me I was at the seaside.
Happy days.From$41

Fair & Honest.
Negatives - 1) room (single with double bed) too small.
2) bar staff (gent) too cocky let the team down
3) no comeback when they checked my room out for cigarette smoke (from designated outside smoking area).
Positives -1) entertainment 1st class 2) all staff have obviously been well trained on how to respect customers. 3) very friendly holiday makers hotel 4) locationFrom$76

The Carlton has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are amazing, very helpful and eager to please.
The room was comfortable but the TV was faulty.
There was no kettle in the room which was easily remedied.
There was no mat for inside the shower which made the shower very slippy especially for the elderly who are unstable.
Breakfast was good, the staff made sure we well spoilt.
We were very annoyed at the £5 parking fee which included Blue Badge holders. We very rarely pay to park.
Our son who visited did not have to pay for parking which is ludicrous. We have already payed to stay there!!
The bar prices were very over the top, £6.35 for a bottle of beer. This does not encourage us to spend money there.
We are ordinary pensioners. That’s far too much!!
It’s greedy.From$43

For the price you can’t complain, bathroom was slightly small but room was big enough. Really clean and the woman receptionist was friendly.
Can either pay £10 next to the property for the day or pay £7 in the churches car park.From$24

I had asked the staff to decorate our room as a surprise for my husband for our wedding anniversary, and so much effort was put into doing this. The staff left us a card and wrote such a lovely message to complete the gesture and make it even more special. Hope you guys enjoy your mince pies and chocolate from me and hubby !! ❤️ definitely would stay again.From$36

Hotel just outside the train station, but still modern, clean, smells really good. Front desk staff was great, room with great size and comfortable. Nice bed, cozy, good amenities, including a Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast was good and plenty. Great stay overall!

The location of the room is great. There is an entrance to the amusement park within a 1-minute walk. You can see the sea when you cross the road. The room is newly decorated and the breakfast is good. It is a great hotel in Blackpool

Good facilities such as pools and sauna as always, but rare choices of breakfast buffet, stay 4 nights but had to request reception on the first day to third day for tidying up the room

This is a absolutely fantastic place to stay. It’s nearby everything. The staff were amazing and it felt like we’d known them for years, in particular Bobby. The bed was super comfy. There were very clean linen and lovely toiletries. The bar was reasonably priced and the “snack” menu was enough for a whole meal
