On arrival we were met by the owner/manager of the property . We had a great reception, really easy to check in , room was as described. It was very clean and a great view of the beach. Definitely going back

The hotel room didn't have enough storage for the three of our clothes. The towels weren't replaced every day which I find very poor. Also there was a mark on one of the towels and my mum actually found it rolled up and put back into storage in bathroom. This was extremely poor. The staff were really nice and friendly. I found the hotel to be clean. However, due to heatwave and lack of clean towels I find this really poor service. The breakfast had a good variety and was nice. It was also close to south pier but really good location.

This time the house is not as good as before, this time it is too small, and it is on the 1st floor underground, and I have lived twice. Breakfast is OK, standard English breakfast Service is OK, the pool is good

Check and out was very efficient. No fuss I chose not to have the room cleaned, which gave privacy and freedom to come an go as I wanted I was self catering

I had asked the staff to decorate our room as a surprise for my husband for our wedding anniversary, and so much effort was put into doing this. The staff left us a card and wrote such a lovely message to complete the gesture and make it even more special. Hope you guys enjoy your mince pies and chocolate from me and hubby !! ❤️ definitely would stay again.

Hotel staff, facilities, food, swimming pools and entertainment were brilliant. Everything was presented really nicely in the foyer/reception area. The bedroom and carpets were really tired, however, and need a revamp to match the quality hotel foyer. We found the mattresses uncomfortably soft and didn't sleep well, so assume these were old too. A really mixed experience, but on balance the positive outweighed the negatives. The staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Highly recommend getting tram passes on app. before you arrive as need proof of children's DOB from passport or birth certificate. The tram stop is really conveniently opposite the hotel. Excellent reliable service :-)

This hotel is excellent and great value for money. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.plenty of tea coffee and milk and biscuits and hot chocolate in the room.great bathroom shower facilities.

The Grand Hotel is north of North Pier and is a huge hotel with many rooms facing the sea, and a spa, pool and gym. We stayed there for 4 nights and walked everywhere (including to South Pier and the Pleasure Beach), so the location was good for us. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms were spacious with an amazing view towards the Tower and North Pier. The pool, sauna, steam room were great, and cost only £2 per person. All staff we encountered were friendly. We would stay here again.

The room is very stuffy, the window cannot be opened, the room has no hair dryer, no trash can, everything else is OK, what makes me most satisfied is that the location of the hotel is very ideal 👍

The shower and toilet were shared on that floor. I didn't use the shower because it didn't look very pleasant. It's best to bring your own towels, hairdryer, and shampoo. The walls were thin, but I slept well. The host was kind and let me in even though I arrived 10 minutes before check-in. Considering the price, the facilities are decent, so I would recommend it to anyone who just needs a place to sleep.
