The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from the train station. The facilities are about what you'd expect for the price. However, the cleaning felt a bit sloppy; I could still see my own hair in the shower on the second day. The hotel restaurant was very bad. I do not recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel for my graduation ceremony. Aside from being a bit overpriced, everything else was really good. If I ever come back to Coventry, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The location is directly opposite the university (CV) and it's a 5-minute walk to the city center where Marks & Spencer is. There are also bus stops nearby, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a safe, fridge, kettle, TV, and minibar. The shower pressure was great and the water temperature was perfect. Even though it's close to the street, I didn't find it noisy. However, the hallway soundproofing isn't great, so you can hear people walking by. 💤

Very good A historic castle hotel, not very expensive, located in Coventry, near the Peak District, not far from London, Manchester, and Newcastle The rooms are like rooms in a castle, and it feels like living in Downton Abbey (the filming location of Downton is actually within 100km). The decoration in the room is a bit old, and the hand-pull toilet feels like going back to the 90s. The public area is like a museum, all authentic British style, and any photo taken is quite good. I had dinner there, which was very good. In short, if you want to experience castles or monasteries in the UK, this is the best choice

The air conditioning was super cool! The facilities were also excellent, and the space was quite large and comfortable. Room service was quick and the food was delicious.

Booked the hotel as it was near the place I was gonna work at the next day. It was accessible, very near the train station, and the town centre as well. Even though it was close to them, the place felt safe. It had all the basic amenities and it was clean. The people at reception were nice as well.

The room was like any other village hotel so got what we expected.  We had room service and even though the food was a little pricey the service was prompt and without any issues.  The hotel was busy and had small signs of wear like pos hanging off the stairs it just needed a little attention to detail.  Restaurant staff seemed nice but needed a little someone on the floor leading the shift as there was a feel things they had to keep going off to find out etc.  Overall it was not a bad trip and having worked and stayed and village it was one of the better experiences I’ve had.

Great value overnight stay. Room was spacious and clean and will def stop here again when visiting friends and family in Coventry.

Very good, this hotel has a good view, 15 minutes drive from the city center. Breakfast is a normal English breakfast, nothing special. Swimming pool praise!

I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the rooms were comfortable with good facilities. The staff were professional and helpful throughout the stay, making check in and general requests smooth and efficient. Overall, a reliable and comfortable option for a short stay.

I enjoyed the location of the hotel, it was really clean and tidy the room was beautiful with a view of the local bus station on its doorstep also BBC Coventry radio behind the hotel. The room was spacious with all accessories we needed. Could've done with a wet room as me and my partner are disabled but because its a family room its expected to have a bath with shower head over the bath. We was on the 4th floor with lift nearby
