I stayed here twice, once on arrival and again the day before my flight home. The first time, I was a bit disappointed because I was on the 5th floor and my window looked out onto a terrace. However, my second stay was on the 9th floor with an amazing view overlooking Nairobi National Park, which really boosted my overall impression! I could even spot giraffes and ostriches with binoculars. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with absolutely no complaints. Security was also excellent. I had expected there to be more shops within the building, but aside from about three restaurants, most of the other spaces were vacant. So, for any shopping, you'll need to venture outside.

We loved staying at this hotel which is absolutely steeped in history. Staying here feels like taking a step back in history and the art deco design of the bar was just gorgeous. However, it was the staff that really made our stay memorable. They made us feel special and welcome from the moment we walked into the hotel. It just happened to be my birthday and they went out of their way to make it feel so very special. In particular, Kanja and Christine, were just fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The best thing about here is the breakfast which has a really nice spread including an egg station, beef/chicken sausages, and pancakes. I also used the gym frequently where they provided towels and water. Everyone was always so friendly. While it is centrally located, it’s not the safest neighborhood at night - during the day it seemed fine (but you must always take care of your phone). We didn’t mind it because we were always out and when we came back to the hotel, we never left again each night.

Accommodation in Kenya is very expensive. It's relatively affordable here. Not far from China's Xinhua News Agency and the Chinese district. YAYA CENTER is within walking distance. There are a lot of sausages for breakfast, few dishes, pure Western style, you can order black tea for no extra charge. But breakfast is 1,500 shillings, which is not cheap anymore. There is no way to go out.

I booked this hotel two months in advance, paying 980 RMB per night including breakfast. However, on the day I checked in, my colleague found the price was 580 RMB per night with breakfast. Early check-in cost an extra $30. I appreciated that the power outlets were universal Chinese type, so I didn't need an adapter. The breakfast offered steamed buns, noodles, and chopsticks. While it was nothing special, it was decent enough. The outdoor seating at the restaurant was very comfortable. On the downside, the room facilities were outdated, and the hygiene was just average. There was a strange smell from the wardrobe and the sink, and some areas were quite dirty. On the positive side, the staff were all very nice. If the price had been under 500 RMB per night, I would have found it acceptable. But paying nearly 1000 RMB per night, I felt like I got a raw deal.

This trip, Trip.com ［ Lidagong ］. The flight booking is a flight that can't be found at the airport, and the airport staff helps to find all kinds of things. Finally, I found that the flight issued by Trip.com may be another airline, but fortunately, I finally left. To Kenya, at night to the hotel, the front desk told me that there was no reservation message. Fortunately, the customer service was still at 2:30 in the morning. After half an hour, the problem was dealt with. It was said that it was a system reason. I wanted to roll my eyes. The front desk said that I just received the agent's reservation. I don't want to talk to Trip.com about ］. Domestic can be said to be the four-star standard of the hotel more than ten years ago, clean and tidy, no toiletries and disposable slippers. The sound insulation is relatively poor, the glass windows are not closed, and the wind will be very loud. The staff is very good, the meeting will be very warm to say hello, will take the initiative to help solve the problem. Breakfast is OK, can eat enough, it is estimated that the restaurant is darker, resulting in not much appetite to see anything. On our check out we were asked to pay additional $ as the exchange rate changed from the moment we pay our room cost during checked in, so we ended up having to spend time to understand why the hotel would charge customer an amount in USD upon check in, and charge customer again if the exchange rate changed at the end of our stay, when I asked would they refund money to customers if the exchange rate changed favourable to the customer, they couldn't answer. John at reception was fantastic, he recognised I was a silver member and had macaroons and chocolates out in my room. Nick in concierge was also great, they went over and beyond to help me. The rooms were a dream, the beds very comfortable, decor to dream of and a vide range of TV channels. Housekeeping brought a coffee homemade face scrub which was wonderful and made my skin feel so smooth. Everything is well appointed. Staffs - whether it is at the reception counter, the pick-up drivers or the staffs at the restaurant were all friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean, some with a view of the garden and swimming pool. The free pick-up service was from airport was great too! While it's locaiton is closed to the airport (6-7 mins. by car) but there is really not much to see and go near the hotel. Another thing is that despite there is Netflix and YouTube on the TV, the Netflix is not accessible - on both occassions when I stayed there. It went to the Netflix log-in page but then it just stucked there and no response doesn't matter what button is pressed on the remote control

I’m having a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, with the metro just a short walk away, making it very convenient to explore the city. The room is spotless, comfortable and has a beautiful view. I am also impressed by how friendly, welcoming, and helpful the front desk staff were. Overall a great experience and I would happily stay here again!
