I have visited many restaurants but meko is unique. An open kitchen, passionate chefs, enlightened service personnels and great ambience. For the night we had mushroom croquettes and fried calamari followed by grilled chicken and lamb from the charcoal oven. To crown it all we took house made ice creams for desserts. The food was awesome and to details. This is my favorite spot now. #kudos to meko team.

I really enjoy the customer service at Kwetu if you haven't tried it out you are missing out on alot,the different kind of foods they have the quality is consistently outstanding exceeding expectations every time.If you want a more cool and serene environment that is the place you will not regret.Check it out!

We really enjoyed the meal at meko restaurant... then we joined upepo restaurant for drinks in the evening, this is a place to be! Rooms are so spacious and service amazing... looking forward to come again at kwetu curio... we hope the will maintain the standards and add more of unique things in the restaurant and bar, cool climate, good atmosphere and easy to access from wetland to the hotel.

My meal at Meko Restaurant was scrumptious and the service was brisk as well as exceptional. The view of the kitchen from the restaurant was impecable and the chefs looked very professional. Breakfast at the poolside is while the sun is rising, definitely I'm visiting again.

I Had dinner with some friends. The restaurant is so beautiful and warm. I had the lamb chop platter. Let me just say you will not go wrong with this. The lamb is so juicy and cooked to perferction. Will definately be back. A true 5 star experience

What an incredible stay, a brand new hotel nestled in Nairobi set among the Karura forest and a sanctuary in the heart of the city. The hotel has an interesting story based on modern colonialism, and this theme is reflected by all artwork that captures the cultural nuances of Kenya. Rooms are very well appointed, and small touches like the retro colonial telephone and side tables make it all a unique experience and not just another hotel. The restaurants are all unique with diverse menus and overlook either the treetops or the pool area, and the ambience is incredible. Parts of the hotel are still under construction, but it means you have the hotel essentially to yourself! On a side note, the gym is one of the best I've seen in a hotel with brand new technogym units. Overall, a must visit in Nairobi!!

Out of all the restaurants I have been to, Meko restaurant was the worst. Their customer service was really bad. We were served by different waiters and waitresses who didn’t know what they were doing, they were very misleading with their food portions and the food was not well cooked it was half cooked and half burnt, the so called platters are not platters but food for one person. And to make matters worse when we gave them food to pack for us for takeaway the food came back when it was less meaning it had been eaten. Words cannot begin to describe how disappointed I was with this restaurant. The only good thing was the ambience.

Upepo bar is the best. Amazing food, very tasty East Asian fusion food. Each food presented in an elegant beautiful way. The ambience and the music are also amazing. Great place to hang out with friends and colleagues. Thank you for great service and food.

This is definite one of the best hotels i have been to in Nairobi.beautiful, excellent customer, and very friendly stuff. I would like to single out one lady Imelda who gave us amazing service. I will definitely be recommending it to colleges and friends alike.
