I stayed at Sim Boutique Hotel in Phnom Penh for 8 days, and my experience turned out to be a very positive one, despite a rough start. Initially, I was a little disappointed with the corner room I was given on the 4th floor. The noise from outside—especially from the school opposite, along with the constant street activity and voices from nearby buildings—made my first two nights quite uncomfortable. I had requested a quiet room prior to check-in, but was informed that the room category I booked was located on the lower floors. However, I truly appreciate how quickly and professionally the hotel responded to my concerns. They promptly upgraded me to a larger room on a higher floor, which was much quieter and offered a lovely city view. From that point on, my stay improved tremendously. I really enjoyed the rooftop pool—while it’s not very big, it’s perfect for a refreshing dip in Cambodia’s heat. The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight for me. The views are incredible, the music creates a great atmosphere, and the live singers were genuinely impressive. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to many places around the city. If the weather gets too hot or you’re feeling tired, it’s simple to hop on a tuk-tuk or Grab. Overall, I’m grateful for the hotel’s attentiveness and willingness to make things right. Their service made all the difference. I would definitely recommend Sim Boutique Hotel for a comfortable stay in Phnom Penh, and I look forward to staying there again on my next visit.

When it comes to NagaWorld Hotel, it needs no introduction. It features a 95% plant-based and 100% natural vibe, offering a soft and trendy feel. The amenities are excellent, and the rooms are very spacious. The food—whether traditional or regional—is incredibly abundant and delicious across all dishes; spending your money here is absolutely worth it. The staff is also very friendly. While the check-in and check-out processes are quite strict, I still give it a solid 10 out of 10!”

The hotel lobby is very nicely decorated, the room was of medium size but with a great view of the river. Shower and bathtub in the bathroom, but be careful it’s slippery when wet. Staff was very friendly. Free drinks in the evening on the top floor with great 360 views of the city. Pool and exercize room on the top floor too. Overalll a great value for the money.

This hotel boasts an excellent location for sightseeing, right behind Central Market. While the breakfast buffet didn't have a vast selection, I really enjoyed the noodle bar where the staff cooked fresh noodles to order. However, the refrigerator in my room wasn't working, so I called the front desk. They said someone would come to the room, but no one ever showed up, so I eventually gave up on using the fridge. It seems they cater more to Chinese speakers, and English support isn't something to count on. Despite that, the room facilities themselves were very clean and new. Considering the cost of living in Phnom Penh, I thought it offered good value for money.

I recently stayed again at Luxcity Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint. This is actually my return visit, which already says a lot about how much I enjoy staying here. The room was impressively huge, giving me plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable. Everything was spotless and very well maintained — you can really tell that cleanliness is a priority here. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and clean, and the overall atmosphere felt fresh and welcoming. I also appreciated that the room had all the amenities I needed. From toiletries and a fully equipped bathroom to convenient in-room facilities, everything was thoughtfully prepared. It made my stay smooth and stress-free. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my experience and will definitely come back again in the future. Luxcity Hotel continues to be one of my top choices whenever I visit. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly place to crash in the absolute heart of Bangkok’s action, City Lodge Bangkok (specifically the popular one located at Sukhumvit Soi 9) is a solid contender. Here is an honest breakdown of what to expect if you book a stay. 📍 The Standout Feature: Location & Connectivity The absolute best thing about City Lodge is its location. It sits right at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 9, literally steps away from the Nana BTS Skytrain station (about a 10-foot walk from the steps). The Good: You can jump on the Skytrain and be anywhere in Bangkok within minutes. It is a 15-minute walk to the Sukhumvit MRT (subway) and the Terminal 21 shopping mall. Restaurants, street food, massage parlors, and convenience stores are right outside your doorstep. The Bad: It is located directly next to Sukhumvit Soi 11 and Nana Plaza, meaning it is in the absolute epicenter of Bangkok's chaotic nightlife.

It was great to be able to eat Chinese food and other items. Access to the airport and tourist spots was also good and convenient.

Undoubtedly a perfect score! 💯 This is a fantastic hotel with impeccable service, an excellent location, and absolutely stunning architecture. I believe the hotel was built upon an existing old structure, and the style is simply breathtaking. Especially at night 🌃, it has a super cool vibe – my photos honestly don't do it justice. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and had everything perfectly arranged. When I arrived in the middle of the night and saw two other groups checking in, I knew I had made the right hotel choice. The hotel is situated near the Royal Palace and close to the National Museum, placing it right in the heart of the main tourist area. Most attractions are within walking distance, making it the perfect choice for travelers. I *must* mention the breakfast here; it's incredibly high quality, almost perfect. They truly understand guest needs and provide a high standard of options. A simple example is the yogurt: they don't offer generic supermarket products but instead provide homemade, unsweetened yogurt. To cater to different tastes, you have choices like plain, with passion fruit, or with diced mango. They emphasize fresh, high-quality ingredients, a comfortable and beautiful dining environment, a rich selection of low-sugar options, mild flavors, and attentive service. You definitely need to try it. Special thanks to the front desk and the restaurant. Because we had to catch a very early flight, they specially prepared convenient packed meals for us upon request, which we picked up at the front desk at 5:30 AM. That was fantastic! This is the best hotel choice in Phnom Penh.

It is a suitable place to stay for a long time because the room is like a service apartment in Thailand, which has a Hood, Hot plate and a sink for washing dishes. But the only disadvantage is that there are no pots, pans, plates, bowls, spoons and knives for repair like in service apartments in Thailand. I would recommend that if there was a microwave and complete Chinawear, silverwear, glassware, it would be more popular.

Hotel is conveniently located in BKK district, near Independence monument. Staff was very friendly and helpful and even let me check in at 14pm. Room is spacious and clean, a bit dark, but it's ok. On the first morning AC was dead on the entire floor and they moved me to other hotel. Even though that hotel is supposedly better, they put me in a room looking directly at construction site, on the same level, so the workers were literally on my balcony. Noise from early morning till evening, and then music from nearby club till 5 in the morning. I think they should pay me for staying there not the other way arround. I didn't like the surrounding area. The rooftop pool was nice though. The first hotel in BKK district is better anyway.

Excellent location – the Royal Palace, National Museum, the waterfront, streets with bars and cafes, and art galleries are all just a few minutes' walk away. I stayed in the second building, and the only minor inconvenience was having to cross the street to the main building for breakfast and the pool. But that's not critical at all. The hotel is in a very accessible location and within walking distance to restaurants, a supermarket, and the main street, which makes getting around very convenient. The room itself was also clean and comfortable. The only downside during my stay was the view from the room. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much of a view as my room was facing another building’s lift lobby and car park. Because of this, I had to keep the window blinds closed for most of the day for privacy. My friends and I referred to it as “the palace” the first time. It is so luxurious and a wonderful treat. The pool is clean and enormous. The workout room is clean, open with a nice view and has fantastic machines. The spa is lovely. They have several restaurants. I cannot resist the rooftop and only chose that one. Prices were reasonable for the value. The staff is so friendly. Senh at the front desk took extra care to make sure I was comfortable. It is on the “other” side of the river but you can cross on the car ferry for 25 cents (R1000)and are right in all the action on the other side. I chose the place for the weekend’s getaway, a one-night staycation. I was quite impressed by level of hospitality, facilities and layout, and of course, a hearty breakfast with both buffet and à la carte. The only issue for me was the noise. My room was on the 2nd floor and I felt that it was next to housekeeper room or something because I could hear constant chatting and noise of things being moved etc. The room didn’t have a good sound proof, so for someone who is a light sleeper like me, it’s quite irritating and hard to have a restful sleep. Overall, it’s almost a perfect stay! I think I’ll visit again.

The only minor issues were that some facilities seemed a bit dated and there's room for improvement in cleanliness.

Its more of a building apartment that serves both long term residents and act like a hotel on the side than a traditional hotel, this means that you get to wait for the 2 slow lift with other residents. Receptionist is in the minimart beside the lift lobby which surprisingly isn't that overpriced, similar prices to other convenience store in the city. For the room itself, its quite aged and the room seems much smaller than advertised, the bed is the hardest mattress that i slept on, it doesn't even bounce when i jumped on it. I can count with 1 hand the amount of times i seen insects in the room. The river view is fine. There's no phone to call but seems like you contact receptionist using whatsapp or wechat, the notebook in the room also shows room service (also very surprisingly not overpriced) and items you can buy from the minimart (not sure whether they will deliver up the room) but i did not try any of it. The water heater was fixed after informing the receptionist and they also let my kept my bags after i checked out, giving few hours to explore the city before i head off to the airport, which is also nice. Location of the hotel isn't too bad, with plenty of restaurants and market nearby, 1km walk from the nightlife area.

I stayed on the 34th floor, a high-rise, and enjoyed a wonderful night view. The location is in a district with many Chinese residents and businesses, and the receptionist was probably Chinese too. It was great to be able to eat Chinese food and other items. Access to the airport and tourist spots was also good and convenient.

Despite arriving close to midnight, I was able to check in. The staff were attentive and the hotel was more than adequate. It's a great base hotel for sightseeing, especially if you're using a motorcycle navigation app. Be aware that for rooms on the 5th floor, you'll need to take the elevator to the 4th floor and then use the stairs. The steps are quite steep, so be careful if you have large luggage! For someone like me who prioritizes value for money when choosing hotels abroad and is willing to overlook minor inconveniences, this hotel was perfectly satisfying!

The check in was swift. Price is very affordable considering you get kettle, toiletries, soap and shampoo... Only that tv not working [i dont really watch, so i dont mind] and there's no ironing service available.Picked up laundry is avaiable. Walking distance to Orrusey Market and street market in the morning... plenty of local stuff, foodies and fruits. I walked to Jamei Mosque, Royal Palace and Wat Botum Park in the morning..it was amazing meeting the locals. Pharmacies, convieent stores all within reach easily.. i definitely revisit...
