We wanted to stay near the Hongmen gate of Taishan and Meijuju Suites seemed to be a good choice. The location is near the bus station where frequent buses ply the route we were interested in going. The room was in an old building but it was clean and served our most basic needs. We didn’t get to meet the owner but he left his father in charge. He was most helpful. Whenever we encountered any problems he would assist us in solving them. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

昨天放學後直奔火車站，車廂裏都是咱們杭州的小學生，大家都十分默契地寫作業。晚上十點多入住泰山腳下的這家民宿，民宿環境很好，打理得乾淨整潔，庭院裏有許多造型奇特的盆景，還有一顆我最喜歡的石榴樹，上面掛滿了一個個大石榴，真是美極了，民宿還有好幾個從上海自駕過來的驢友，據説也是來爬泰山的。第二天清晨，我早早起床，走到二樓的觀景平台，山上雲霧繚繞，耳邊陣陣鳥鳴，真是愜意。吃了早餐，民宿免費寄存了行李，免費借了根登山杖，老闆幫我們指了條近路，出門拐個彎，走100米不到就到了紅門，開啟了爬山之旅。我們九點開始紅門出發，下午兩點就到了南天門，中途還愜意地在中天門閑逛了快一個小時呢。平時每週爬山的我們還是相當有實力的。第二天下山了，好心的民宿老闆開車把我們行李箱送到我們手裡，真的體驗到了山東人的熱情。

An unexpectedly great stay! I didn't have high expectations when booking the room. For just over 100 RMB a night for a triple room, the description seemed good, mentioning a large room size and a convenient location, so I immediately booked two nights. The location on Ctrip was a bit inaccurate, and I spent a while looking for it. After contacting the owner, they said it was on the 12th floor of Building A, South Block, of a huge inverted U-shaped building. I then realized it was actually very easy to find; not far from Taishan Station, you just turn right out of the station and you'll see this massive U-shaped building. The owner was very friendly; when they heard we were climbing the mountain the next day, they lent us three trekking poles. The room had a keyless entry, and the size was indeed very large, matching the description. The facilities were new and well-equipped, with space to dry clothes, and it was very clean. The large bed was spacious and separated from the smaller bed by a partition. There was even a kitchen area, so it's likely an inn converted from an apartment. Staying at the mountain lodge is incredibly convenient for climbing Mount Tai. We checked in the afternoon of the first day and ascended the mountain at 8:00 the next morning, taking the cable car for 10 minutes to the South Gate of Heaven. The weather was beautiful, with a light mist. We stopped and walked along the way, returning to the lodge a little after 10:00. We took a short break and had lunch, including two pancakes with green onions, before returning. It was a perfect schedule!

The uncle and aunt who looked at the store (should be helping the children to see the store) were very enthusiastic. I gave a bag of winter dates and a bag of walnuts later. I said it was on my own tree. I also took it without politeness. 😊. We stayed on the mountain for one night, and the car parked in his parking space for one more night, and did not say the charge. I didn't wait much when I picked up the car. The uncle rode a small eDonkey and appeared quickly (the private parking space was chained, and the car needed to be unlocked). Good service!
