The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly. Every day I needed toiletries and room service, and they handled everything perfectly. They even folded my clothes after tidying my room and recommended local restaurants. On my check-out day, they kindly arranged a complimentary taxi to the airport. The amenities were excellent, with a safe, microwave, and iron all provided, plus there's a swimming pool. The location is superb, very close to the convention center. The hotel breakfast was also fantastic; the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Besides the buffet options, they also offered complimentary fried eggs. It was a very satisfying stay overall. The only very minor flaw was that the carpet was a bit dirty.

The only minor issue was that the room was a bit dim due to the window facing a neighboring building. Perhaps brighter lighting within the room could enhance the ambiance. We stayed at the hotel for a day between flights to rest and visit a couple of shops in Sharjah. They weren't in a rush with check-in, so we were guaranteed to get our room at the official time, but couldn't get in earlier, perhaps because we had booked a two-bedroom family suite. The hotel isn't very new, like most in Sharjah, and there are issues with many aspects: hangers, hot water temperature, and other minor details. As a place to rest and spend the night, it was acceptable for us.

We stayed for 2 weeks in late January 2026 and had a very good time at Marbella Resort. I was cautious when making a booking due to controversial reviews on various sites. Some customers seemed to be concerned with such issues as cleanliness, insects or even geckos in rooms, staff attitude and lack of soundproof between rooms. Fortunately, we had no issues of that kind at all. Upon our late arrival we got Master Suite 3701 on the ground floor of 2 floor villa. Summary of things we liked: - An opportunity to occupy part of a villa with your own patio close to nice waterfront / promenade for a very reasonable price (by UAE standards of course) is unbeatable - Master Suite (living room with sofa, kitchen area, bedroom) was of a decent size for 2 adults with a kid - Hotel has a pool which seems to be ok though we preferred to use the pool in Holiday International (just 2-3 min from our villa) which was warm in January and had kid’s section with just 58 sm in depth - Hotel has a small playground for kids and there is another one in Holiday International - There are 2 amusement parks within 20 min walking distance from the hotel (Al Montazah and AlMajaz) which is perfect when you have a small kid - No noise from neighbors, according to reception we had soundproof doors between rooms which seems to be true. Not sure if all villas have these - Reception staff was always polite and helpful - Beds were comfortable - Bed linen and towels were fresh enough - Cleaning was ok most of the time - No insects (even mosquitoes) or geckos - Breakfast in Holiday International was ok though quite crowded and not much daily changes - Washing machine in room, large fringe, microwave, 2 TVs (which we never used) - Four bottles of drinking water provided every day - Nice Spinneys supermarket is just 5 min by feet - WiFi was better than expected Summary of shortcomings: - 2 floor villas are attached to hotel parking so we had cars parking in front of our kitchen window which we preferred to keep open for ventilation instead of aircon (January is not a hot month in UAE). Fair to say we had no issues neither with other guests parking nor with a street noise. You need to mind though that laud praying starts in nearby mosques around 5.30 am - I was puzzled by the fact that bedroom had another door instead of a window which can be opened to get some fresh air. Of course UAE is a low crime area but still you won’t leave the door open especially at night. Having a small window with mosquito net in bedroom would be great - Aircon was rather noisy. We rarely had to switch it on though of course you would have no choice in hotter months - Threshold separating shower from the rest of the bathroom is not sufficient and most bathroom gets wet when you take a shower. Typical problem in many hotels which can be solved literally for $1-2 - Couple of times cleaning staff have ignored our room for the morning cleaning. Fair to say when I brought this issue to reception they came in 5 min to do the job - They have induction stove in room but no pot or pan to cook so we had to use microwave all the time - Although hotel is well placed right on a beautiful promenade there is no direct access to it from hotel grounds and you need to walk 5-7 min to get to waterfront - Local beach is about 10-15 min drive, but my kid was happy with the pool in Holiday International so we never tried shuttle service provided by the hotel. Winter sea in UAE is chilly anyway - Generally Sharjah is a less fancy and much more conservative compared to Dubai while hassle free visiting Dubai is by taxi (public transport links are quite weak) which is rather costly (though local taxis seem to be cheaper compared to Dubai). So, Sharjah is ok for family vacations but not for entertainment or shopping.

No wonder this is Sharjah's top hotel! It's brimming with history. The library is actually the former home of Sharjah's first journalist, and it houses the UAE's only remaining circular wind tower. The walls are even made from coral stone, a signature material of that era. There are several museums nearby, and the adjoining souk has been around for over 190 years. The staff are all incredibly warm and friendly. The hotel offers two restaurants: one serving Korean and Japanese cuisine, and another featuring Italian and local specialties. Personally, I preferred the latter. Breakfast is à la carte, generous in portions, and offers a great variety of choices. The bedding was super comfortable, the duvet smelled lovely, and I slept incredibly well.

Hotel is in great location. Suite was clean and had kitchen. They didn’t tell us that the TV facing the bed was not working (we were told this issue exists in all rooms and will be fixed in coming days) wish they had been transparent about this prior to check in. Sauna had to ask the staff to turn it on. Lockers in the pool / spa area did not work, staff asked me to just leave my things in the locker unlocked or leave my things in front of the sauna. Life guard takes his rules very serious but I know it’s for safety of guests. kids should not jump from pool. Overall good hotel.

Although the hotel is located in Sharjah, it is very close to Dubai Airport. It costs 50 dirhams to take a taxi. It is very convenient to go to Dubai or other places from the hotel. The room is huge. There is a small supermarket at the door, where you can buy food and cook it yourself, saving money and delicious food. The waiters are very hospitable, but the breakfast variety is a bit limited, probably because many guests cook their own meals. Good wifi. Breakfast is various & tasty. Hotel staff ready to help. Small pool, sauna & gym (for ladies available until midday). Very close to marvelous beach, tasty cafés around. Nesto supermarket is also not far away. No slippers in the room, but staff provided upon request without problems. Great option if your point of interest in Sharjah is beach, beach, beach!

This hotel is in Sharjah, not Dubai (I thought Sharjah was a suburb of Dubai, but it is not, it is an independent emirate), so the transportation with Dubai is not very convenient, and the buses between Dubai and Dubai are few and expensive ( In Sharjah, there is no place to recharge the Dubai bus card Nol card). The hotel is relatively close to Dubai International Airport, more than 10 kilometers away. The taxi fare negotiated with the driver is 55AED (I checked Uber and it was about the same price).

The bedding was excellent, comparable to a 4-star hotel, and the property itself is quite large. I initially thought it would be small, but it actually has two low-rise buildings with a garden and pool in between. The hotel also feels very new. The staff provided excellent service and were very helpful, assisting with luggage to the rooms. It truly felt like 4-star service. On the downside: the soundproofing is virtually non-existent. You can hear conversations from the next room. I had the misfortune of having neighbors singing and chatting loudly until 3 AM, which was unbearable. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and a supermarket just across the street. There's some construction happening nearby, so be mindful when choosing your room's orientation; typically, king rooms are a good choice. My booking stated a 2 PM checkout, but I was told it was 12 PM. After some negotiation, they extended it to past 1 PM, which was a bit confusing.

The seating areas are comfortable, and the rooms are very clean and fully equipped. Some rooms overlook the lake. I highly recommend it; this is my second time here.

No wonder this is Sharjah's top hotel! It's brimming with history. The library is actually the former home of Sharjah's first journalist, and it houses the UAE's only remaining circular wind tower. The walls are even made from coral stone, a signature material of that era. There are several museums nearby, and the adjoining souk has been around for over 190 years. The staff are all incredibly warm and friendly. The hotel offers two restaurants: one serving Korean and Japanese cuisine, and another featuring Italian and local specialties. Personally, I preferred the latter. Breakfast is à la carte, generous in portions, and offers a great variety of choices. The bedding was super comfortable, the duvet smelled lovely, and I slept incredibly well.

We stayed for 2 weeks in late January 2026 and had a very good time at Marbella Resort. I was cautious when making a booking due to controversial reviews on various sites. Some customers seemed to be concerned with such issues as cleanliness, insects or even geckos in rooms, staff attitude and lack of soundproof between rooms. Fortunately, we had no issues of that kind at all. Upon our late arrival we got Master Suite 3701 on the ground floor of 2 floor villa. Summary of things we liked: - An opportunity to occupy part of a villa with your own patio close to nice waterfront / promenade for a very reasonable price (by UAE standards of course) is unbeatable - Master Suite (living room with sofa, kitchen area, bedroom) was of a decent size for 2 adults with a kid - Hotel has a pool which seems to be ok though we preferred to use the pool in Holiday International (just 2-3 min from our villa) which was warm in January and had kid’s section with just 58 sm in depth - Hotel has a small playground for kids and there is another one in Holiday International - There are 2 amusement parks within 20 min walking distance from the hotel (Al Montazah and AlMajaz) which is perfect when you have a small kid - No noise from neighbors, according to reception we had soundproof doors between rooms which seems to be true. Not sure if all villas have these - Reception staff was always polite and helpful - Beds were comfortable - Bed linen and towels were fresh enough - Cleaning was ok most of the time - No insects (even mosquitoes) or geckos - Breakfast in Holiday International was ok though quite crowded and not much daily changes - Washing machine in room, large fringe, microwave, 2 TVs (which we never used) - Four bottles of drinking water provided every day - Nice Spinneys supermarket is just 5 min by feet - WiFi was better than expected Summary of shortcomings: - 2 floor villas are attached to hotel parking so we had cars parking in front of our kitchen window which we preferred to keep open for ventilation instead of aircon (January is not a hot month in UAE). Fair to say we had no issues neither with other guests parking nor with a street noise. You need to mind though that laud praying starts in nearby mosques around 5.30 am - I was puzzled by the fact that bedroom had another door instead of a window which can be opened to get some fresh air. Of course UAE is a low crime area but still you won’t leave the door open especially at night. Having a small window with mosquito net in bedroom would be great - Aircon was rather noisy. We rarely had to switch it on though of course you would have no choice in hotter months - Threshold separating shower from the rest of the bathroom is not sufficient and most bathroom gets wet when you take a shower. Typical problem in many hotels which can be solved literally for $1-2 - Couple of times cleaning staff have ignored our room for the morning cleaning. Fair to say when I brought this issue to reception they came in 5 min to do the job - They have induction stove in room but no pot or pan to cook so we had to use microwave all the time - Although hotel is well placed right on a beautiful promenade there is no direct access to it from hotel grounds and you need to walk 5-7 min to get to waterfront - Local beach is about 10-15 min drive, but my kid was happy with the pool in Holiday International so we never tried shuttle service provided by the hotel. Winter sea in UAE is chilly anyway - Generally Sharjah is a less fancy and much more conservative compared to Dubai while hassle free visiting Dubai is by taxi (public transport links are quite weak) which is rather costly (though local taxis seem to be cheaper compared to Dubai). So, Sharjah is ok for family vacations but not for entertainment or shopping.

The hotel kindly upgraded us and the room was exceptionally spacious, close to the top floor. The views were very nice of the corniche. Breakfast selection was ok, could have had more variety of dishes and the croissants/bread selection was limited. There is a nice cafe on the ground floor, close to reception. Staff were pleasant.

Excellent hotel for its price. Nice beach, smooth entry into the sea, clear water, warm sea, lifeguards on duty at the beach. The chef is just super, everything is tasty and high quality, the desserts are amazing. The staff is friendly and caring. There are free buses from the hotel to the shopping centers of Sharjah and Dubai Mall. Getting to the city center by taxi costs about 20 AED.

Great hotel, can definitely recommend. Furniture is not new, but working properly, bed very comfortable. Teapot & fridge in the room (though fridge is barely working). Shampoo & lotion provided. Good wifi. Breakfast is various & tasty. Hotel staff ready to help. Small pool, sauna & gym (for ladies available until midday). Very close to marvelous beach, tasty cafés around. Nesto supermarket is also not far away. No slippers in the room, but staff provided upon request without problems. Great option if your point of interest in Sharjah is beach, beach, beach!
