On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near a Rewe supermarket, just about 2 to 3 minutes away, making it easy to grab any essentials.

Schöne Zimmer, Sauber, sehr gute Lage - Aber was gar nicht geht, ein Zimmer zur Verfügung stellen, bei dem man weiß das die Heizung nicht geht. Haben die Rezeption kurz nach dem Ankommen darauf angesprochen, es hieß es schaut sich ein Techniker an, am Abend ging die Heizung immer noch nicht, der Nachportier sagte man könne jetzt nichts mehr machen und am nächsten Tag sagte uns die Dame an der Rezeption das man dieses Gas erst erneuern müsste, und das sei bekannt ... Warum gibt man dann dieses Zimmer raus?
Kulanz oder Nachlässe gleich null - Schade, aber diese Kette ist für uns gestorben!

The room is spacious and clean though it’s a bit noisy at night due to its location with a few bars beside it and is located the opposite side of the hotel building where you are given a key to access the building that is without reception.
The location is convenient with a S-bahn station in 5 minutes walk and the marktplaz where the Christmas market is within 15 minutes walk. The breakfast is very nice as well.

”Insider tip” for everyone who wants to live in absolute peace (as long as the other guests are mi**aching) in the most beautiful district of Stuttgart and still be able to reach the city on foot or by bus in a few minutes and doesn't need a restaurant. The wellness area is very good considering the size of the hotel, especially the sauna.
Only the ”fitness room” is a windowless little room.

Our room at Mercure Hotel Stuttgart was spacious, tastefully furnished and offered an unforgettable view of the surrounding city. The beds were so comfortable that we sleep every night as on clouds. The cleanliness and care of the room were innocent, making our stay even more pleasant.
The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was a true party for the gaume. The variety of fresh foods, from regional delicacies to international tastes, did not open any wishes. The coffee was aromatic and the staff made sure that our cups never remained empty.
The comforts of the hotel, including the generous wellness area and well-equipped fitness room, also contributed to our well-being. After a day of activities we were able to relax and refresh perfectly there.
The Mercure Hotel is ideally located with many attractions and shopping facilities nearby. We already plan our next visit to Mercure Hotel Stuttgart, because our stay was just perfect and we felt like at home there. The room cost 1,400 per night. Apart from the bed quilt, bath water, towels and toilet paper, there was not even a bottle of water. The service was also very poor. Low cost performance.
Breakfast is barely passable. You have to ask the waiter for omelettes and egg rolls to be freshly made. You can also sit outside in the garden.
It's not far from the train station, but you still have to walk for a while. The area around the train station is undergoing major renovations, making it difficult to walk around.

Leider ist bei uns so ziemlich alles danebengegangen. Los ging es beim Einchecken, das mitgebuchte Frühstück war nicht mit im System und somit für uns nicht verfügbar. Dadurch hatten wir direkt bei Ankunft ein hin und her, da das Personal sich komplett aussen vor hielt. Zum Glück hat unser Anbieter das Problem ganz schnell gelöst, so dass wir zwar Geld vorstrecken müssen, dies aber erstattet bekommen. Durch diese Verzögerung blieb uns keine Zeit, das Zimmer anzusehen, da auch der Schlüsselchip nicht programmiert war und wir somit nochmal Zeit verloren haben. Wir haben uns kurz umgezogen und sind unmittelbar zur gebuchten, externen Veranstaltung aufgebrochen. Bei Rückkehr wurde es dann so richtig eklig. Die Toilette war am WC Rand komplett mit getrocknetem Urin besprenkelt, dies war auch an der Aussenseite der Schüssel zu sehen. Da der Portier in der Nacht allerdings schon das Buchen des Frühstücks auf den Morgen verwiesen hat, konnten wir um ca 23.30 Uhr nichts mehr veranlassen. Direkt am nächsten Morgen haben wir dann die gemachten Fotos an der Rezeption vorgelegt. Hier wurde uns zuerst mitgeteilt, dass wir dies direkt bei Anreise melden müssen, nach Erklärung des Ablaufs hat der Herr dann aber unsere Fotos abfotografiert und will dies mit dem Chef der Reinigungsfirma klären. Wir durften uns als Entschuldigung jeder bei Abreise ein Getränk aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen, das war doch eine nette Geste. Leider sind das aber für uns zu viele Fehler auf einmal, zumal noch 1 weiteres Paar Probleme mit dem gebuchten Frühstück, als auch ein Paar Probleme mit dem Zimmer hatte und das alles alleine in der Zeit, in der wir morgens reklamiert, sowie den Checkout durchgeführt haben. Fazit: Das Hotel kommt für uns nicht mehr in FrageFromAU$107

We booked this hotel for 5 nights for an exhibition. The price was really expensive. The hotel is in a good location, close to the train station and subway. The room facilities are complete. It is an apartment-style hotel. However, I don't know why the room must be cleaned on the third day. As a result, it was not cleaned until the fourth day after negotiation. This is really unbearable and is the only negative review! The hotel's breakfast is not very good for Chinese people, and there are not many varieties!FromAU$156
