We stayed here for 10 days, 2 adults and 4 kids. Good points: clean hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, lots of food variety. Drinks were nice. Bad points: not enough sun beds round the pool. If you don’t put your towels down at 6am you are not getting a bed which is ridiculous! The hotel should not allow people to do this. We sat there all day and watched people stroll back to their beds around 1600 after being out all day! The pool closes at 1900 but the staff turf you off the sun beds at 1730 to make room for dinner tables… there is 1 life guard who watches the slides for 2 hours a day. He wasn’t there everyday! People were zooming down the slides. It’s a disaster waiting to happen!! The kids pool is tiny. If you have a toddler then this place isn’t for you! Luckily my 5 year old was confident enough to swim with arm bands as she couldn’t touch the floor in either of the pools ( besides the kids pool! Which is literally 1.5m by 1.5m) entertainment was ok, not much entertainment for the English though in my opinion. Staff couldn’t speak great English so my daughter didn’t enjoy the kids club as couldn’t talk to them. Food was ok - but gave us all sickness and diarrhoea. There was a lot to choose from but same thing most days. We got sick of it after about 5 days. The maids didn’t really clean your rooms - literally just made the beds and changed the towels. No glasses were removed from rooms or rubbish taken out. Beach was ok but beach shoes are 100% needed. The sea was too rough for the children to enjoy as the waves are really big. The rooms are not sound proofed at all. Could hear absolutely everything. Including the night club a few hotels along which didn’t stop until about 0200am. Overall we had a nice stay but would not recommend this hotel if you have children.

I have been a guest at this hotel for quite some time and my experience so far has been excellent. The people working at Hotel Litore were always responsive, friendly, hospitable. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is delicious. I never had a single complaint until last week (November 4th). I had the most horrible experience a woman can have. I felt insecure, scared, threatened. At 11 pm there was a knock in my hotel room. I was in the shower and my friend (female) opened the door and saw the front office manager Sait at our door. I could hear them talking at the door. This went on for about 10 minutes while I was still in the shower. When I entered our room, they were talking on the balcony. Imagine my complete shock while I was still undressed when I saw someone from the hotel, a manager, in our room. Up until that point I had just exchanged a few words with him in the hotel lobby and had never given him any indication that I had or could have any interest in him. I or my friend never invited him to visit us in our room. It never occurred to me that something like this could happen. I was literally shocked. I won't lie, I was scared that something might happen to me and my friend. I felt insecure and scared. I got dressed in a hurry, put on whatever I could find, just so he wouldn't see me naked. He started asking me if I have a boyfriend, am I single while looking at me suspiciously. Luckily my friend was calm and told him we should leave the room now. Fortunately, he left too. Anyway, I have never felt more scared and insecure in my entire life. In a place where I should be relaxing and having fun, I was made to feel scared for my own safety as a woman. In such a friendly county, in a hotel where I have always been treated with respect, to feel so humiliated by a man in a leadership position... This is unacceptable. It also speaks badly for the hotel. I strongly believe that this person should not be an employee at Hotel Litore because his actions reflect on the hotel as well. We also informed the general manager of the hotel about the situation but he took no action and covered up the whole situation as it never happened. It's been a few days and I'm home now, but I'm still having nightmares about it. As a woman, I feel helpless. This man's actions were appalling, but what shocked me even more was the lack of any action by his superior. No one even apologized to me. I didn't get one: sorry. This is truly unacceptable. I honestly don't think women can feel safe there. We were lucky that nothing more happened, but I don't know if some other women will be as lucky as we were, or if something worse could happen to them.

**Long post but worth a read if condidering this hotel** This hotel was booked as our first and most probably last family holiday (due to mums health issues). There was 8 of us in total on the holiday this included myself, partner, 2 daughters, mum, my brother and partner, and another brother. On arrival I was extremely upset to find that my family had been booked into a room that sleeps only 3 when I had put in the original booking 2 adults and 2 children sharing, after telling the manager that I was extremely uncomfortable with my daughter not being in my room or us all squeezing in the small room the only option I was given was to pay 350 euros for a family room. I think this is absolutley terrible, this was refused as I simply couldng afford so this set us of to a bad start. The next issue was that my mum is disabled and cannot walk, she was put into the furthest room (only accessed by at least a 10 minute walk under the subway) I asked for her to be moved closer this was refused I genuinely thought she may not make it home after all the walking. We tried in vein to hire some type of mobility scooter, searched both towns and found nothing, however, the hotel was more than happy to hire a wheelchair (not fit for purpose) for 25 euros a day 🤯 that is literally 5 euros less than hiring a car. This didn't make it much easier for us as we had a steep hill to get up each night and she is quite a large woman. On many occasions I thought we was both going to be rolling down the hill, this was supposed to fulfill one of my mums final wishes, a family holiday, she told me she just felt like a burden. The rooms if big enough was ok, comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, shower gel, 1 2 English channels on TV (news) was bearable. However, each day we hung the sign on our door to have our mini fridge restocked and this didn't happen once? I'm not quite sure why? To be honest I got the feeling that the staff just didn't like us 😕 which as you can imagine made us quite uncomfortable. The beach I cannot fault at all it was absolutely beautiful and literally on the hotels doorstep, managed to get sun loungers no problem each day. The sea also is stunning beautiful colours and beautiful sunsets each night. The weather also was in the 20s each day which was a very pleasant suprise. The pizza bar by the beach was great freshly made pizzas and salads was very nice and the downstairs barman seemed friendly. We also tried the mock tails and milkshakes at an extra cost (4 euros) was worth a treat. The upstairs restraunt had plenty of options and the food was enjoyed by the majority of the party. Always seemed to have something available for fussy eaters and the English pallette. To eat on the balcony with a sea view was a really treat. The nighttime entertainment was also very good always translated to English to so we could all understand some fab dance acts.
