Had a quick stay, reached on 26th December 2020, start of Tier 4 Covid lockdown. Check-in was pleasant and the rooms clean and nice. No one to help with luggages but understandable seeing how the hotel is operating with minimal staff. Very helpful with storing our luggages and even accommodated some stuff being left behind whilst we sort out of transportation. Breakfast was nice and quick. Would recommend folks to stay here again.

As soon as the plane arrives, take a taxi. It cost five or six pounds. The room was the best I have stayed in for more than a week. Very clean. The bathroom is actually accompanied by a bath and shampoo! !! Generally British hotels do not bring. . . It's so nice that there is no place to buy toiletry products at night! Like it

Afternoon tea Had an excellent visit a couple of months ago for Afternoon tea up on the roof Brilliant views and brilliant service We were served exceptionally and a slight delay was solved with a complimentary drink The afternoon tea presented well with a very good selection The view from the windows looking down was brilliant and there was a friendly atmosphere and excellent artwork

Our recent stay at Moxy Glasgow SEC was comfortable, quiet and enjoyable. The availability of heavily subsidised parking next to the hotel (which must be validated by asking at reception) was an added bonus - only £8/day! The check-in and check-out processes were straightforward, with friendly staff at reception. Accessed with a key-card, our room, although compact and overlooking the aforementioned car park, was modern, clean and provided good amenities. The view from the room didn't detract from our stay, as with the curtains drawn and window closed, any car park light/noise could be avoided - this was necessary the nights events were on at the SEC. Our room was a 'moxy twin sleeper' (two single beds) - though the beds were really close together. Additionally, there wasn't really any storage space, and the use of paper cups instead of the use of mugs could have elevated the room. Despite this, the room was well-decorated and met our needs during a four-night stay. Overall, the Moxy Glasgow SEC was well-priced, and the modern, clean rooms helped us to have a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Stayed two nights at the Moxy Glasgow SEC, and overall enjoyed the stay. Hotel was a neat concept that introduced some elements reminiscent of hostels, such as check-ins that double as bars, ample social areas and an open concept lobby, work spaces, etc. The room itself was fairly small (was advertised as such, so it was expected), and did lack a few amenities such as a fridge or workspace. The room however did have a variety of neat features I haven’t seen at other hotels. Bed was quite comfy and overall the room was very clean. The location is quite poor - if you are attending a show at the Hydro, or anything else in SEC it is perfect; however for everything else the area is lacking. You are fair trek into city centre and you do have to walk a far way to find a coffee shop or convenience store.

Overnight stay for concert at armadillo great location for this, free parking was a bonus! Service in bar restaurant was poor but this was down to lack of staff not the staff ability otherwise ok . Was a bit pricey for the room but the hotel was fine had no real issues
- Guest User
Not good at all, I wont stay here again. The food was of poor quality, not hot, slow service, overpriced. Coffee machine not great. THere were not enough sockets in the room (a double double with one socket on the far side of one of the beds). The window could not be opened. THe bathroom floor was not clean to the edges, heated towel rail did not work, extractor fan not working. Insufficient toilet paper supply. Corridor carpets were marked and dirty.

On my business visit in Glasgow i was staying at Hilton Garden Inn and i can say that i was extremely happy with the service and the personal there! Specially Geo and Ati where extremely helpful and kind, amazing treatment and support from them! Hopefully see you again soon! Thank you 🙏 😇

Not great. Room was more than tired - it was exhausted! Grubby carpet, curtain, walls… Cystern had a leak which led to a puddle in the bathroom. I notice the exterior is undergoing a facelift. Maybe they should concentrate on the interior first. I e stayed in better budget hotels if I’m honest. Positives - towels and linen were immaculate and breakfast not too bad. Staff friendly and polite.

Had a fabulous night away on a DBB deal for catchup with a friend. Had a lovely room overlooking the paddock and open countryside. Arrived early so had lunch in Palominos, really lovely food and very friendly, helpful efficient staff but not overbearing. Check in was swift, again very friendly reception staff. Went for set menu at dinner which again was a great experience and great food. Slept well, very quiet. Breakfast was self service which was great, everything you could possibly want and great quality. Before leaving my friend discovered she didn’t have her glasses so we went to the car to check if they were there, she locked us out of our room but issue was quickly resolved by Receptionist. Didn’t find glasses but a member of staff who was also at reception area offered to take us to restaurant to check if they had been handed in night before. Lovely very helpful young lady. In the end they were in the room. Don’t think Heather will forget us in a hurry! All in all would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed an overnight stay, DBB at Ingliston. Comfortable, well equipped room with a nice view of the paddock and surrounding area. The bar & waiting staff were friendly, efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed some cocktails in the afternoon but the pina colada was very disappointing as ice cream was used instead of the ingredients listed on the menu. Varied and enjoyable dinner selection on the set menu but starters were served along with the oysters we ordered. And why they’re not served on ice is a just disappointing. Chicken & rice soup was tasty but didn’t like the jelly fat texture. Delicious meat feast pizza albeit a little heavy on the mixed herbs. Steak pie a winner. Lovely tiramisu and a crisp, chilled bottle of Chardonnay made for an overall enjoyable meal. Breakfast has something for everyone. The atmosphere at Ingliston is good but it’s just not making a 5/5 experience as yet!

We booked this as we knew our flight home to Glasgow Airport was landing late and we could not face the long drive home at such a time. By the time we cleared with our bags and walked to the hotel from the terminal it was 2am when we checked in. Unfortunately we were given room 115, which was opposite the elevators on the first floor. It was also not only an accessible room with wet bathroom (no shower unless you wanted to flood the whole room) but also had a ”connecting” door to the next room. No idea who was on the either side, but not ideal for either of us given our late arrival. I was feeling extremely tired and and went straight to my bed - unfortunately it was far too soft and it was a double, so we tended to fall into the middle where the ”hole” or ”dip” in the mattress was. With us both trying to sleep on the outside of the mattress for comfort we continually pulled the small duvet from each other in an attempt to keep warm after our return from Africa. The pillows were also too soft for my liking, however that was minor compared to the mattress. There hours later, at around 5am the corridor started coming alive with excited children heading off on their holidays, running and squealing, literally!! I can't blame them for being enthusiastic, but perhaps their parents might have understood that some guests might still wish to sleep at that time? Thus our morning continued so when we finally dragged ourselves up for breakfast around 9am I was extremely tired and somewhat grumpy... Now to breakfast; a fairly good selection was on offer if you came at a quiet time. I saw some guests leave towards the end our meal time as they did not want to wait in the queue for what was left. My main gripe about the breakfast was again, not the hotel's fault, but the guests, who presumably are not used to staying in hotels and don't know what swerving utensils are for. I saw one female guest pick up and touch several slices of bread and returning them before picking what she put in the toaster machine. I purposely picked a slice she hadn't pawed and waited whilst it went through the machine, then just as it arrived a young man (her son I believe) whisked it away in front of me. Manners non existent. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly and the food on offer was perfectly adequate if all the guests knew how to behave. All in all, we picked this hotel for a catch up sleep after a late flight in and we didn't achieve that so we will not be back.

I have stayed here several times and every time have felt warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Our last visit i wanted to charge my car and the staff phoned airport parking who found me an empty charger and welcomed me by name when i arrived ! This visit needed to switch to a twin room and receptionist brought new key up to me rather than expecting me to go back down. Sitting in busy breakfast and every table is spotless. Comfortable rooms with AC. Convenient parking and very short walk to terminal. Everything you need for an airport hotel.

A decent hotel with a great location near the university of Glasgow and the Kelvingrove Museum. Certainly not a modern spot but room comfortable and a good breakfast provided. Very friendly and helpful staff (Liz was great) Everything worked so we had no complaints

Nice hotel. It has every thing you need. Very good price versus quality balance. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was there for a congress at the SEC.

Overall is OK. The location is in the city center, convenient for shopping. After all, it is a big hotel brand, so basic things are fine. There are three bad experiences: 1. Service: Check-in in the UK is at 3 pm. I arrived at 1 o'clock, and a young guy received me. He refused to let me check in, saying that I must wait until 3 o'clock. I'll go, I've been on a plane for more than 30 hours. No way, I was too tired to wait. It turned out that other people came and checked in directly. I just try to find another person who looks like a supervisor and do it directly. In the end, they did it without asking anything. Make me mad. White let me spend nearly an hour. Too powerful. 2. The air from the air conditioner always smells of chemicals. Turn it off and it will be cold, but turn it on and it will smell bad. 3. There is a weighing scale in the gym. I went there and saw that there was no number. The waiter said that the battery was out. He said a few more words that I didn't understand. The next day, there was still no electricity. Another waiter said that there was no electricity. On the third day, I simply took the scale away. I am also speechless.
