We came down on a virgin experience ticket all the way from Manchester , upon arriving we were greeted by the owners wife who was so welcoming, she personally showed us to our lodge, which I must say was out of this world, the facilities were an open plan kitchen: living area, log burner hot tub all surrounded by so much greenery, it is peaceful and tranquil, the staff that work there could not do any more for for us, one especially called stuart ( he was our instructor for axe throwing and archery ) not only would he stop his daily tasks eg/ being in the office to checking on the cleanthliness of the hot tubs, he would happily stop what he was doing to let my 2 year old help feed the sheep! Nothing was too much trouble, there was a genuine interest in our family , such as little things like remembering our names and it just made us feel like the workforce there were a family and made us feel part of this family, we will definitely be going back again but next time for longer!what an amazing place and I would highly recommend it to anyone

Family half term holiday. Brilliant lodge. Everything you need for a family. Comfortable and clean. Lovely surroundings . Peaceful and enjoyable. This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time with all the family. You could not of asked for anything else. We requested a travel cot and high chair which was waiting for our arrival. The grandchildren loved the sheep and other animals walking around. Great base for Weston and brean. We will not hesitate to book again

Originally hailing from the area, it felt strange returning to old haunting grounds. The hotel has very much grown up since the 80's when I last visited. We booked an accessible room with breakfast. Parking could be an issue with less able or limited mobility (the disabled parking is at the bottom of a steep approach to the entrance) Ringing reception from my car, a very nice young man said it would be ok to park outside the main entrance thus avoiding the steep incline. Our room was on the 6th floor and didnt have a ”view” as at the side/back of the hotel. However, in terms of accessibility, we couldn't fault our room. The room was spacious for my husbands wheelchair, with both USB and plug sockets next to the bed which is good for charging his wheelchair. The bathroom is a wet room with a nice set up of lower sink and grab rails etc. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the modern bar area before going to eat in the restaurant. We chatted to the staff who were very efficient and very friendly. In particular Julie, who was Maitre 'D was very attentive to our needs and we had a good rapport with her. Our evening meal was cooked extremely well and was very tasty. Breakfast was equally well cooked with a great selection of items to choose from. Again, Julie helped with serving our food directly to us as I also have mobility issues. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate in revisiting this hotel, it is one of the best hotels in terms of quality and accessibility that we have stayed in.

I am a regular Hilton customer and have stayed with the chain on 14 occasions this year alone. I have to say I am usually happy with the service I receive but certainly was not on my recent visit to Cadbury house. We were given absolutely none of the expected perks of our level of loyalty and treated poorly by check in staff. I messaged Hilton to make them aware of the service I had received but the only response was to tell me that next time I stay, I can contact them and they may consider a discounted upgrade (subject to availability). As I pointed out in my feedback, the food quality and restaurant service were excellent which is one of the reasons why I go. It should be considered though that the other Marco Pierre White restaurant at the Mercure In Bridgwater offers the exact same menu and dining experience. They do not claim to reward your loyalty in any way but they will offer the dine and stay experience for less than half the price of Cadbury House so I will use them in future as my loyalty is clearly not appreciated here.

Rooms good and clean, hotel clean, only downside there was 2 adult 2 children in the room as it was on second floor windows don't open and you have a sort of air con system but it only goes down to 17° it got very hot in the room especially after showers and baths. Very hot during the night widows where soaked in the morning just felt like you had no air. I dread to think what it would be like in the summer. Apart from the hot room every thing else was lovely including the restaurant and the food! Also location was great!

Easy enough to check in. Friendly staff at the front. Booked an evening meal and breakfast for the next morning. Both meals were good. Room very clean and tidy. Bed extremely comfortable. Slept very well and didn’t hear a noise all night. On the whole a comfortable stay.
