The hotel seems like an annex to Hotel Emma in Rotterdam (2 min walking from Umplugged). Room is super cute decorated and clean, and the mattress is amazingly comfortable. Location is also really convenient, close to metro station and 10 min walk from Rotterdam Central Station. There is also a street close by with bars and nice brunch places. We book the hotel with my boyfriend for only one night after a concert in the Rotterdam Ahoy, but it was actually a really good place to stay longer! :)

My husband and I recently took a bicycle trip to Holland and spent one night at the Marriott in Rotterdam. We only wish that every hotel on our trip was as good as this. The Front Desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- they had a special place to lock-up our bikes, helped us do that, spent time with us reviewing a map of the city to decide what to do and where to go, and emailed us additional information. The hotel is in a great central location, across from train station and in walking distance to a lot of sites. The rooms are good-sized, totally modern (great bathrooms!), very quiet, cool (it was warm and we needed air conditioning) and internet worked perfectly. Breakfast is served in a nice room with a great view of the station/city; friendly staff, hot items are cooked to order and the buffet is full of any item you might want. We're just sorry to we only stayed one night.

After reading the various negative reviews (after booking my trip!) I was mildly apprehensive about my stay here for a number of nights. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel very clean, although the check-in process was a time-consuming.mThe room iI was given was small but quite acceptable for my needs and quite clean. Once up in the room, I tried to call down to reception to clarify a minor issue. They ignored my calls. I rang 3-4 times over a period of 20-30 minutes, on one attemnpt, letting it ring for up to 10 minutes. No answer. I eventually found the information I needed in the small info-sheet after looking carefully. The next day, taking a day off from business, I wanted to stay in my room to write emails and so on, so I put out the 'please make up my room now sign at 8 am and went out for breakfast. There were 4 or 5 people in housekeeping on the floor, who, through the course of the day as I came and went, they, seemed have decided they should be doing every single room EXCEPT mine. I has to go to to reception again around lunch time as I found my key disabled. It took the gentleman on reception 25 minutes (I time this) just to be able to create me a new key, and there was no explanation other than ”the system is playing up”. Also at this time, I specifically asked if they would ensure my room was made up and I was assured he would contact housekeeping to make sure it would be done. I went out to lunch. I returned just before three, and the room remained unattended to. I went to reception, this time to register complain, and was quite brusquely told ”this is jsut because the housekeeping staff are busy”. Obviously so!! BNusy all day long doing every room apart from the only room with the ”please make up my room now ” sign hung on the door!! I asked to speak to the manager and was rebuffed. It was clear from the evasive response to my requrest that the receptionist did not want me to speak to the mana gera. After I said I really did want to speak to the manager I was told she wa s busy but would be along shortly. I expected him to do something to contact the manager such as pick up the phone or go to find her, instenad he simply started to ignore me and began to deal with another customer, which behaviour I found most discourteous. When I remonstrated about this he irritable stated taht ”I'm dealing with your problem by email -- you just can't see what I am writing on my screen”. 15 mins of this silent treatment passed I asked again for the manager and was told she was too busy to talk to me. I returned to my room, and housekeeping finally arrived at 1500. These service failings would be incompatible with a 3* rating hotel, but the ket to this thing is that these annoyances are all people related. it is not any indivudual issue-- these things are routine, and dealt with elegantly in even the cheapest of hotels. Great location, really close to the metro station and tram station. You can access Rotterdam and Den Haag easily. Supermarket is nearby too and the hotel breakfast is superb.

Arrangement met in room dining van mevrouw Meijer. Goed verzorgd en fijn uitje tijdens de coronatijd. Hip en trendy kamer, koffie en theezet faciliteiten, platenspeler en superdouche. Mooi uitzicht ook. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Service mag van ons iets persoonlijker.
