Having recently discovered The Falcon had gone through a massive transformation, we decided to book Sunday lunch at Eyas restaurant at the Falcon Hotel. The car park is large, well maintained, and in the shadow of the beautiful hotel. You are greeted as you enter and temperature taken as per the norm these days. You then go through a series of little lounges to the restaurant, all part of the hotel seating and resting areas, beautiful. The restaurant is large and the decorating is amazing. The menu is quite small but everything is cooked and prepared perfectly. We had roast beef main courses, preceded by pig cheek, salt baked celeriac and another starter. When they were served, there were about 4 staff doing the serving, one holding the tray of food, another serving etc. So nicely done. The starters have all kinds of goodies with the dish, hints of and touches of which make the dish amazing. The beef melted in your mouth. Individual pots of cauliflower cheese. Nothing too much of a problem. We had the chocolate dessert, can't remember the name, and the cheese board. Truly wonderful. Yes it isn't cheap, but this is fine dining, not just a £20 Sunday roast. You are made to feel special, and makes for a special occasion. If I didn't live so close it would be a great place to stay, the hotel looks so inviting and the staff so friendly. Will definitely come back. Enjoy

Traveling around the hotel is convenient. This is the second stay! It is less than an hour's drive from Bicester Shopping Village. There are several Chinese restaurants around the hotel. The shopping mall in the town is very convenient. May book next time.

Booked two nights at the Premier Inn in Northampton in November. I booked two rooms, one for myself and one for my daughter, Premier Plus so paid extra. On arrival my room was absolutely boiling so I tried to turn the air con on but it didn’t seem to work. I ended up swapping rooms with my daughter but found that the air con in her room was also broken. On our way out for an evening meal I thought I’d mention this to reception but there was no one there. On our return the reception was empty again so we had no option but to try and sleep through the heat. It was awful and the next morning we both felt a bit ill as the room was so stuffy. We left early the next morning and mentioned to the receptionist that the air con wasn’t working in both our rooms, she then told us that they were waiting for an engineer to come out the following week to repair it and she could either offer me two electric fans or we could move rooms for our last night. We opted for the fans and they did the job but I was annoyed that we hadn’t been told there was a problem when we booked in and we weren’t offered any refund for the inconvenience. Having stayed in another Premier Inn recently, I can say that the rooms were also a bit on the tatty side compared to one we stayed in previously in Truro.

I stayed two weeks whilst visiting family. Reception staff were professional and friendly. There was a small problem when checking in, but it was dealt with quickly. I spoke to the Manager and provided the names of the women who were so helpful, as I really appreciated their diligence. The breakfast is one of the best, both hot and cold with plenty of choice. They also have gluten free bread and soya milk. In the cafe, the staff were professional and courteous and ready with my gf toast every morning! The rooms are clean, quiet and, importantly given the weather, have air conditioning. There is free parking and wifi. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again.

Fantastic room and very clean. Breakfast was great with good selection. My only issue was the corridor was a little noisy, with some drunk knocking on the door a 2am in the morning.
