Recommended, all clean and ordered, has everything they offer, I would change the kitchens as they are very soft without bare spum,it is regular parking even if there is near parking,at the other hand everything perfect!

I chose this apartment for a business trip, because I needed a kitchen. I have thought a lot about how to write this comment but I am going to let you judge the pillow I had, I requested a first world pillow, they took away the only one that was worth something and they brought me another one of those (I don't even know what to call it), when I called them as it was 7 o'clock, that I should go buy one. I had a work meeting and I had to go after it at 9:00 p.m. after working since 7:00 a.m. to buy a pillow (they haven't refunded my money yet, but honestly that's the least of it) a hellish noise ... this is not their fault, but if I had a broken fan and requested another one and they brought me one that was broken, no, it couldn't even stand up because the legs were all broken. ewifi... no comments, there was only wifi on the kitchen table (photo on the living room table without wifi) the disgusting glasses (photo) the heat... insane, it was much better on the street, my fault for looking If it didn't have air conditioning, with the prices that are paid I took it for granted that there was air conditioning, when I saw how hot it was I had neither head nor tail not having a fan or air conditioning... the iron didn't work I had to ask for another one ... the water leaked from the second The situation was such that I left two days before without saying anything and I have not requested a refund or anything, so that it can be seen that it is an absolutely objective opinion and has no economic motivation, it is It's better to stay in a hostel than here. The only thing I have to say is that it's renovated, but everything is so messy that it doesn't matter if it has new doors

Fabulous hotel, cannot recommend it highly enough. Great location, just one block from santa Catalina park, over looking the port and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are stunning and very well appointed, lovely big showers, plenty of hanging space etc. The only slight improvement that could be made is the air conditioning, it's not the greatest and my particular room was particularly warm but reception did give me an extra card so I could leave the electricity on when I left the room and this helped a lot, it took about 24 hours but eventually the temperature came down sufficiently. The roof top bar has some stunning views and is a great place to relax with the drink, the bar staff are great, helpful and friendly an make a pretty good mojito too. The roof top solarium on the other side of the roof could do with a little improvement in terms of furniture but the view is still great and the little pool is a great place to cool your feet after a busy day sight seeing. Breakfast is of very good quality, small selection of hot items but lots of fruit, pastries, cereals, juices etc etc, again the staff here are all friendly and helpful, as they are on reception too. This is a city center hotel and there is no view from many of the windows, mine overlooked a neighbouring apartment block (only a few feet away across a slim courtyard) some look out into an internal courtyard, but the staff, the location and the size and quality of the rooms definitely make up for this and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great base to explore this beautiful island.

First the good: Fun quirky design based on being an old bank, super friendly receptionists (thank you Rosa), spotlessly clean, great position for beaches, restaurants and attractions, comfortable bedroom with great shower and blackout curtains. But.... The breakfasts were extremely disappointing; a lot of the fruit was tinned (the markets were overflowing with fabulous fresh , inexpensive fruit), the meats and cheese were highly processed, the hot selection minimal and sometimes strange (a bowl of boiled cauliflower, mixed diced frozen vegetables!) and the only availably gluten-free bread/cake/pastry was a roll (almost inedible) that had to be taken from the freezer and defrosted. Also disappointing was the rooftop bar was only open on two evenings; on a couple of occasions it had been raining earlier in the day but was dry by the evening. So much good about this hotel, but the breakfasts seriously let it down.

Superb central location by the cathedral so easy access to the local centre of town, shops restaurants etc. For travel it’s also easy to flag down taxi cabs. Suites 1478 is an old building beautifully renovated for the better healed traveller. However we found the rooms odour over powering, ambiance dark and depressing. Layout and supplies were adequate with underground car park access nearby. No English channels on tv ! Internet was pretty much NO GO!! Advised to try the Cathedral cafe supply 🤷‍♀️ but still no access. Even moved rooms as an essential these days and still no reliable connection. Hotel said it was ‘ being fixed next week when we complained but I think an ongoing issue as electrically /internet has a major flaw. Breakfast display was good but nothing covered, and no freshly cooked food especially eggs- eggs cooked at 8 am if not taken we’re still there at 10. One major dislike was the fact the breakfast was open to locals and visitors so often busy and hence lost the cosy feel and often we felt intruding.🤔 Staff were pleasant and helpful but sure to attend to outside guests first we noted.

From the moment we arrived (at 09.15 am), we loved the whole experience. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful and could not do enough for you. The room was really well appointed and spotlessly clean. Roof terrace a lovely way to relax with a drink overlooking the cathedral. Breakfast was a superb buffet of fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses, breads, etc, etc. We wholeheartedly recommend Suites 1478 and would never stay anywhere else in Las Palmas.

Reviews From Real Travelers
This was a one night stay before picking up the cruise ship Azamara Onward. To get to check-in, you have to go up one storey from ground level by climbing a fancy set of entrance steps. There is a 1970s ”baggage lift” to the rhs, and if you have a disability you can use that, but it has no sides, and moves at a snails pace whilst your finger has to stay on the button. This lack in investment speaks volumes about this hotel. I was given a superior room due to loyalty scheme status, but it was nothing special. The air con was noisy, and the room lacked charging points. The mattress wasn't that great, and the bedding was musty. Dinner in the 23rd floor restaurant was a farce. The restaurant was fairly full with cruise guests on a dinner package that included a buffet and drinks. Rather than allowing us to pay for the same buffet, we were forced to choose from a very limited overpriced restaurant menu. The food was disgusting. The extremely processed food ”burger” was still raw in the middle; the hake was aslso still raw in the middle and both had to be sent back to the kitchen. They couldn't even cook the chips. My travel companion said that breakfast in the morning was even more of a disaster - not enough seats for the guests, nor enough food out. Would I stay here again? Well, I used Marriott points, so it was free. If I was paying for it, I'd want my money back.....

The room is clean and tidy, very close to the bus stop and the beach and the commercial street, friends who want to live in the north can choose!

The location is excellent, just beside the most lively beach in Las Palmas, there is nothing nearby. The nearest bus stop is just two steps away. The bus on the island is very developed. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The hotel is on the left. A large supermarket, daily necessities, fruit is still very cheap, it is closed at nine o'clock, pay attention in advance, because it is very close to the beach, swimming and sun is also very convenient. The room is very spacious, the two of us have anything to put, the bed is not too narrow, the bathroom is very spacious, and the cleaning is very clean The front desk is very welcoming and will say hello every time you enter or leave the hotel. There are not many types of breakfast, but there are some, fruit and meat, various bread, egg, ham, sausage, coffee juice, it is worth mentioning that there are freshly squeezed juice and yogurt, very good to drink The hotel has two terraces for sunbathing and the scenery is great. There is also a dj performance at night, but unfortunately it has not been completed. The hotel also offers free parking, which is very convenient for people who rent a car around the island. The only thing is that not all rooms are sea views. We stayed at the interior this time, but fortunately there is a terrace. When booking, remember to note the sea view room, and there is a strange smell in our room. It’s basically gone for a day.

Excellently located property at the north end of Las Canteras beach. I had a great room with a balcony overlooking the promenade, beach and the ocean. Staff were so very friendly which always creates a very good impression. I slept so well. I really enjoyed the breakfast as it offered more than enough choice. I will definitely book this hotel again whenever I want to stay in Las Palmas What is so very good is that the hotel is not too big which produces a much calmer and relaxing feel. 👏👏👏👏👏

Reviews From Real Travelers
Nice hotel, spacious bed rooms with mini fridge. Clean and well presented throughout. Great breakfast buffet with hot and cold options. Kettles are free to borrow for the bedroom. Beds were comfortable and sockets were numerous. The location is great with a short stroll to the beach (200 yds). The bus station is near enough to walk to with cases to catch the airport bus. Bars and restaurants are plentiful in the immediate area. Tourist attractions are also close. Buses to travel to the old town stops 200 yds away and it’s cheap, regular and easy to use. Pay on the bus with a credit card. It is possible to explore further afield as public transport buses are available to travel all over the island. Our holiday was enhanced by advice and guidance from the hotel reception staff especially Mahy and Natalia. Their language skills enabled us to decide on where to go, how to get there and they gave us an insight into the local culture. They explained things to us that we didn’t understand. (English speakers were few and far between in resort. )Their help was invaluable and we were grateful for their time and patience. The hotel only has only Spanish speaking channels on TV . No BBC news, no subtitles, no World news or Euro sport. We were out most of the time so it wasn’t a major issue but it would have been nice for some downtime. The view from 505 was next doors living room so it felt intrusive if we had the blinds down. However this wouldn’t put me off booking this delightful hotel again.

Fading. Could be 5 stars but is only 3.5. The staff are nice but the main reason we used to stay here was the pool. However that now does not open until 12..or later some days and it closes at 7pm. Therefore on arrival it was closed and on check out day you cannot use it at all. The bar has no draught beer...just a few bottles and closes at 4 pm. Many people were trying to order during those times but nobody was there to take their orders. Sat and Sun there were 30 people plus on the roof until 8pm and wanted to spend their money but could not! Madness. Some days there was a life guard sitting by an empty pool and other days when the pool was busy..no lifeguard. The Aircon works but is noisy. The TV is an antique and most channels do not work. There was a heatwave but you get one free water each on day one but no more than that even if you pay for 7 or 14 nights. Wifi works but you have to login everyday. Hotel is in a great place but Las Palmas is noisy, dusty and a little fragrant at times! If the main company, Eurostars would look afresh here and spend some money on a refresh then this could be a 5 star. Until then we will stay elsewhere, most probably.
