"We had an amazing, almost magical, stay at the Four Season Dalton Street in Boston. It was a year ago in March 2020. Just posting this review now in the hope that we might actually be seeing the “end” of the pandemic and people might be planning hotel visits again. In fact it was due to the beginning of the pandemic that caused us to cancel or out of the country vacation plans early-to-mid March. We needed a couple of nights in a nice hotel in Boston so we could have a peaceful stay-cation. We toured about 5 hotels in Boston, including one very “ritzy” one - and it was clear to us that 4 Seasons Dalton Street was the best all-around hotel - and was actually a very good value. The hotel itself is spectacular as you can see from the completely accurate photos on their website. But the most important X-factor that made our stay at Four Seasons Dalton Street completely perfect was the incredibly thoughtful and genuine people who work at the hotel. Everybody. More about that later. OUR ROOM: We were in a standard room which was very comfortable for two people. Having the table with 2 chairs and the comfy chair gave us a separate living space next to the bed. There was another separate area with closets and drawers which again made the room feel plenty spacious. The bathroom was large and modern. The bed was very comfortable with a great new mattress. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave us a great view of Boston and plenty of daylight. The room had many special touches that really made it more enjoyable. - The heating and air-conditioning worked perfectly, easily, and quietly - and we were there during a time where we needed A/C at times and heat later. - It’s great that there are umbrellas in the room available for guests in case of rain. - Having electrical outlets with USB ports near the top of the bed tables and on the table behind the TV is very convenient. - We were happy having free use of the Amazon Fire Stick - which was easy and intuitive to use - allowing us to watch our streaming channels like Netflix and Hulu. - The top opening safe is much easier than the typical hotel safe with a side door that swings out in a way that makes it harder to fit in a laptop. - The room was completely clean - but thankfully didn’t have any strong fragrance smell which we have experienced in other hotels. - Rather than have small plastic bottles of water in the room, they had larger glass bottles and cups - which is a really smart step to protect the environment. THE FITNESS CENTER/SPA: There’s a very large fitness area with plenty of high quality cardio machines and weight lifting devices. It was completely clean, with plenty of daylight and great views of Boston. There were plenty of free bottles of water and other beverages - plus some inviting snacks. The pool is truly excellent. It’s long and plenty wide for several swimmers to do laps - and the area around the pool is very comfortable. Plus the most unique element o"
"We did a short overnight staycation and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. At the time the front lobby was still under construction so the entry was confusing, but for our purposes - a quick and safe pandemic getaway - the experience was perfect. Our room had sweeping views of the South End and Back Bay. The room was modern, clean and new. Service was very responsive. The hotel had very good COVID safety and cleanliness protocols. We only ordered room service due to the pandemic, and the couple of mistakes were very quickly and apologetically remedied. The hotel is located right next to the Christian Science Plaza and the Hynes Convention Center / Prudential Plaza. It's a very easy walk from there to the Back Bay, South End, Symphony Hall etc. Note that we were told there is no on-site parking, so we parked across the street in the Prudential Center garage. This hotel is a welcome addition to Boston and I suspect that after the pandemic we will frequent it regularly when we are in the area for evening events."
"Just spent a few weeks planning and arranging my wedding stay at One Dalton , Four Seasons in Boston. I worked with Courtney, the Sales Director for group bookings. She is AMAZING and went above and beyond for us. She answered every questions without hesitation, planned a perfect getaway with a space to get ready in before the wedding. She thought of every detail and even helped me to block rooms for friends in family, with amazing rates. We are so excited! And thank her for everything ! She made this stay happen! -Kate"

"The hotel with low price/performance ratio may have poor lighting due to the small floor of the hotel itself. Maybe because there is a room that looks like a tall building, so there is no sunshine."
"Great location, convenient to go anywhere! There is a popular lobster pavilion on the opposite side!"
"Very convenient hotel, shopping is nearby"

"We spent the first night of our honeymoon with XV Beacon 16 years ago and returned this year for a staycation since travel is so difficult now. What a wonderful oasis in the heart of the city. Really should not have waited so long to return. I say "with" instead of "at" because you feel so well cared for, it's not just a property. What has changed in 16 years? The addition of the roof deck which we enjoyed every day. What's not changed at all? Elegant and gracious service. Beautiful rooms, delightful amenities. Even though we live very close, we got to explore Beacon Hill as visitors, returning each day to be cossetted in luxury. The room service from Moo was wonderful. Car service is gracious, (thank you Mark!) and particularly helpful during this time. A deep soaking tub was my favorite part of the suite. Oh wait, maybe it was the bed covered in Frette linens? The bathrobe? No, it was the fireplace. Caviar service in our room! Who could choose? We arrived a little beaten down by the pandemic. We left refreshed and delighted to rediscover the city we love from a new perspective."
"My fiancé and I stayed at XV Beacon for our City Hall Ceremony. From check in to check out everything was perfect. They offered to upgrade our room for the occasion. They also sent up a congratulations spread with chocolate covered strawberries and wine. The room itself was remarkable. (There was a fireplace and well stocked mini bar) We were on the 8th floor which had a great view of the city skyline. Bed was so comfortable with plush bedding and pillows. The jetted tub was great after a long day. They offer 24hr room service from their in house restaurant Moo that was delicious. There staff was very accommodating and they even offer a car service to bring us to City Hall even though it wasn’t that far but it was a cold February day. They truly made out special day more memorable. Every time we interact with them they made sure to congratulate us and wish us the best. We definitely will be back."
"I stayed here this past weekend with my girlfriend and I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best places to stay in Boston and the US in general. From Check in they make you feel welcomed and look to make your stay as easy and luxurious as possible. I checked in with Ryan and Chang and they made it incredibly easy to get everything taken care of. Then the in-room dining and amenities were wonderful and my only regret is I didn't get to finish all of it. The overnight guys were just as helpful to make take care of any request you may have. Then following a night in a wonderful, we checked out with Jeff and Gazi in the morning who made that just as simple as checking in. This hotel has it all from in-room amenities to hospitality that is better than staying with family. I look forward to staying again."

"Very satisfied. The hotel has large rooms, new facilities, heated towel racks, fruit in the gym, coffee machine on the first floor, hot water, tea making, and free of charge. The hotel is very close to the shopping center (Prudential Mall,), about 10 minutes walk. The subway is also about 10 minutes. Very convenient. I will stay at this hotel next time."
"The room is very big. In the middle of prudential and chinatown, sometimes it is very embarrassing. It is not very far away but the wind is very cold. It is too close to the cold taxi. The front desk is small but the room and service are very good. The toilet is very clean and clean. Still very recommended"
"Very refined hotel! The front desk can also check in late at night, the service attitude is very good, will stay again next time! The room did not bring breakfast."

"After Ctrip had paid the room rate, the next day after leaving the hotel, the credit card was deducted from another $ 113.8. We called back to ask the hotel. The customer service phone was so difficult to get through without saying that we were not deducted from our two sums. After looking for Ctrip customer service to communicate to the present 20 days, the hotel has repeatedly answered the reasons for the deduction of 4, 5 versions. Including the middle said that a refund has been made to another credit card we have never seen before, and later changed to no refund on that card. So far no explanation has been given to us. I also refused to confirm the credit card information with Ctrip customer service, and said that our credit card and the guest's name are not correct. The efficiency is also extremely slow. Basically, it can communicate once every three working days, one version at a time. In addition, the hotel was very noisy in the corridor at 10 o'clock that night. There were people who were walking back and forth. There was a bar downstairs."
"Yet another fabulous stay at the verb Hotel! It has gotten so that we hesitate to try other places as this one is so great. Tom and Joey were great at the front desk, eager to assist and always so friendly. We love the complimentary nitro coffee and water bottles in the lobby, as well as the grab and go breakfast. Amalia made us delicious food. Valet service was great as well, Jamal met us with small talk and a smile each time we passed the door. All in all, we will most definitely be back, a great location that is starting to feel like going home. Thank you!"
"Excellent service and people, Tom and Olivia made us feeling welcome with their kindness and friendly attitude. Safety precautions at all times. The breakfast was delicious and Amelia was very nice and made our morning with her smile, yummy waffles and coffee !! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the experience. We definitely will be back soon..This place Rocks!!"

"Retro rooms, vintage elevators are especially interesting. It is said that there is a good day material downstairs, but unfortunately there is no chance to try it. The room was really suitable for living, and I wanted to stay there all the time (*ꈍ꒙ꈍ*) but it only took two days. The only thing that is not very satisfactory is that the scenery is only outside the trash can (눈_눈) Did not try breakfast, look at it next time."
"The hotel is so beautiful, it seems to have a history of more than 100 years, the staff is very nice, it is a little expensive, and will consider staying next time."
"I like it very much, very charming and human-friendly hotel, I will stay here next time in Boston."
