The room is comfortable, spacious and bright. The bed is especially comfortable. The food is delicious. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. When they learned that 10.5 was the last breakfast, the restaurant manager Cosca (not sure if it is spelled correctly) immediately exempted us from the full breakfast for two on the morning of the 5th. The overall living experience made my husband and I feel at home. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Cork, Ireland, I will stay at River Lee again!

The number one hotel in Cork, with an excellent location, the river lee is right under the window, and the breakfast is excellent. It is a 5-minute walk to the National University of Ireland Cork and an 8-minute walk to the British Market.

Susan at reception was outstanding with her welcome and helpfulness. We arrived two hours early and she found us a room. We did not realise that check in was 4pm and check out was 12md.

[Recommendation Index] Recommended. The biggest feature of this Cork hotel is its large, free parking lot. The rooms are also spacious. It's about a 10-minute drive from the city center. However, it was a bit noisy in the hallways due to a wedding reception, and the soundproofing is average.

[Facilities] Features a swimming pool, restaurant, and large banquet hall.
[Lobby Service] The lobby staff are polite and check-in is quick.
[Room Features] I stayed in room 222 on the second floor. The river view was fantastic, and the room and bathroom were both large.
[Dining Features] The breakfast buffet was average, but the à la carte menu was good.
[Cleanliness] The hotel's cleanliness was quite good.

The hotel is very good and the service is great. But the sound insulation was very poor. I had been talking loudly in the middle of the night without sleeping in the next room, and it was very noisy.

Really clean hotel in a great location. Rooms were big and quiet. Breakfast was fine, but the coffee could’ve been better, and I wish there were more cheeses and greens to choose from.

The front desk was very welcoming and the service attitude was great! It felt like home. The hotel facilities were complete and there was a car to take you to the airport. The room was quite large and clean. There was water in the room. I was super satisfied!

It was a wonderful Victorian-style hotel. The hotel was remodeled from a former hospital building, and it has luxurious spaces. The rooms were clean and spacious, of course. The bathrooms were also of a high standard. It was impressive that they eliminated the bathtub to save water consumption in order to maintain the sustainability that the hotel aims for. I hope it will continue to develop as a good accommodation.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were nothing next to amazing, especially John (guest relations). Every hotel should have a John. Brilliant. Bar staff again brilliant. Food was amazing. And nothing was ever a problem. Hated checking out.

Nice historical hotel on one of the main streets. The room was too small, the floor uneven. Basic amenities : drinking water, ironing board. No fridge, no water kettle. Completely overpriced, not at expected standards. Not recommended.
