Where to stay in Chongqing is more suitable?
Jiefangbei
The benefit of choosing the Jiefangbei neighborhood is that it's easy to get to the center of the universe, especially the Yuzhong District attractions, and the food is also very convenient, especially the fire and ice soup dumplings, Chongqing Xiaomian, and wontons, which are very delicious!
Lazy people's first option is Jiefangbei, which is ideal for first-time visitors who wish to see the main attractions of Chongqing (Hongyadong, Yangtze River cableway). They enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, and while taking a taxi is convenient, there are more traffic jams. It still depends on individual taste.

The hotel's location is excellent for getting around; it's just a 2-minute walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to worry about transport or daily necessities. The room was clean and tidy, with a cozy and comfortable setup, and the bedding was soft and dry, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were handled very efficiently.

My family and I came to visit the Three Gorges, and the hotel's location is excellent. We looked at many places between Chongqing and Yichang before deciding to stay here. It's very close to the cruise terminal, and Raffles City, a popular photo spot, is right downstairs. The surrounding scenery is fantastic, and the room itself is spacious and well-maintained—clean and tidy with a great view. Overall, it's highly recommended. The nearby food options are also great, especially the authentic hotpot.

I was very satisfied with the hotel; the butler service was excellent. We booked three rooms for a family and old classmates' gathering. The suite was very spacious, with a great living room, beautiful views, and good visibility. There were bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs. The location was also convenient, with many shopping malls and restaurants nearby. Everyone loved it and had a great time. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit.

Having stayed in many hotels, this riverside one offered me a wonderful experience. The location is superb, and the room's floor-to-ceiling windows provide an unobstructed view of the river, where you can even watch boats passing by and fully enjoy the scenic mountains and rivers. There are many popular attractions and great restaurants nearby. Just cross the street and you're at Raffles City mall, and you can walk to authentic hotpot places. Superb!

Featured Deluxe Loft Suite (2 Beds)
Coming to Chongqing, staying here is something you definitely won't regret! This room is a duplex, super spacious, and doesn't feel cramped at all. It's on a high floor with floor-to-ceiling windows, and sitting there enjoying the river view is just amazing. Whether it's day or night, the vibe is different and truly atmospheric. The room is super clean, and all disposable amenities are provided, which feels very thoughtful. The ladies at the front desk have excellent service attitudes and were able to promptly address all our needs. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this stay and absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing!
South Binjiang Road
The major reason to live in the South Binjiang Road neighborhood is to enjoy the scenery!
It's a decent room with a river view and floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for friends who enjoy taking photos.
Sisters, it's a little pricey, but honestly, it's not appropriate for students. The transit is inconvenient—you essentially take a taxi!
The view of the river from South Riverside is unstoppable, and across the street you can see Raffles. The skyline pool offers the greatest nighttime camera location. Eating is especially convenient, with a selection of eateries within 3 kilometers!

Guanyinqiao
The Guanyinqiao neighborhood: this area is near a big shopping center, which makes it easy to dine, buy, and do other things. However, at night, people may be a bit too much and rowdy! (Shapingba neighborhood: more student-friendly, reasonably priced, surrounded by some universities, etc.)
Guanyinqiao is a foodie's paradise, ideal for hot pot enthusiasts, night owls, and those who wish to enjoy Chongqing's nightlife. The Yaddo hotel room is tidy, and it takes approximately five minutes to walk to the vibrant Nine Streets Bar, which is a great place for young people to have fun times.

Superior 2-bed Room
Nanqiao has great service, complete hotel facilities, comfortable reading in the bamboo house, and good soundproofing in the room.
The front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room type and sent hot tea. The room design is simple and high-end, and the log style with warm light makes people relax instantly. The bedding must be praised! Nude sleeping cotton mattress + fluffy down pillow, lie down and fall asleep in seconds~ The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sandalwood shower gel comes with a high-end fragrance after washing. Even the hand soap is formulated with essential oils, and the quality is reflected in every detail. The pillow is really comfortable!

Yuqi's service is enthusiastic. When I left a data cable behind, they immediately contacted me and helped me deal with it. The shower in the hotel room is comfortable, the water pressure in the bathroom is also sufficient, the water in the shower room flows quickly, the hot water in the shower room is large, the shower room has a large space, the water pressure is stable, and the bath is very comfortable. During the May Day holiday, I went to Chongqing to see the Four Happiness Meatballs. My friend recommended Atour. I chose a quiet Guanyin Bridge, which is also close to the subway and only takes 3 minutes to walk. There is a Bauhinia Square nearby with a lot of food and drinks, all of which are locals. Check in at 14:00 and check out at 14:00, which is super perfect. A May Day gift was also given. The room has no odor, and the hand soap, shower gel, etc. are all high-end wood fragrances, and the corridor is also fragrant. I won’t talk about the pillows, everyone knows it (the old man actually doesn’t snore at night! 666). Free self-service laundry, if you don’t have time to eat breakfast, you can pack it up, mineral water is at the elevator entrance, and the express delivery is also free (flattered), and the coffee is from Sumida River. There is also free midnight snack 😍😍😍. Hurry up and register as a member, and stay at Atour next time!

Hotpot recommendations!
- Zili Hot Pot: This ancient hot pot with three towers is packed and opened in a Qixinggang residential building. Dozens of yuan can be eaten to full satisfaction of each person, business is excellent, people are waiting even on weekdays, the setting is unimpressive, but the food is also delicious!
- Instrument Factory Hot Pot (General Store): a difficult-to-find but incredibly tasty traditional Chongqing hot pot! There's no setting, but the flavor is delicious and spicy, and the more you eat, the more you enjoy the neighborhood and the rich atmosphere of life!
- Hongyadong, Daijia Lane is home to Sister Li Hot Pot Q (Hongyadong shop), a hot pot restaurant near Jiefangbei where many residents are playing cards while fireworks are in the sky.
Curiosity! Meat dishes start at $5.8 and vegetarian dishes from $1.8. Both are reasonably priced! - Branch of Jiefangbei's Dinghan Hot Pot: Nestled in the heart of Daijiaxiang, Jiefangbei, is the place to try traditional Chongqing hot pot.

Chongqing is an amazing mountain city, but the weather conditions are changeable. Chongqing is foggy and cold all year round, so it's best to wear sneakers! 20,000 starts per day, traveling back and forth between the mountains!

Temperatures stay in the 20s to 30s, with little difference between morning and evening, but Chongqing's weather is changeable, so it's advisable to carry an umbrella and remember to bring anti-mosquito spray! Remember to bring mosquito spray and Windex!
