Taking the subway in Wuxi is very simple- just follow the steps below and you will have a smooth journey:

I stayed at Suning Galaxy for a business trip, and Freya, my personal butler, was professional, reliable, and incredibly efficient, making everything seamless. Her attention to detail was truly heartwarming. The hotel's location is excellent, with complete amenities, and it's quiet and comfortable to stay in. As a family traveling with children, our stay here was excellent and exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money!
1. **Room Experience**: The room was spacious and comfortable, incredibly family-friendly. It was even larger than we anticipated, with separate living and sleeping areas that gave our kids and elderly parents plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped. They even set up a children's toiletries set in advance.
2. **Service Experience**: Throughout our stay, whether it was inquiries at the front desk or room service requests, the response was always very prompt. The staff were enthusiastic yet professional, and they would actively greet our child.
3. The hotel pool staff were also very attentive. If they noticed a child engaging in risky behavior, they would patiently intervene and also explain why, which the children seemed to understand well.From€54

Our family of four had an excellent stay at the Hotel Nikko Wuxi. The hotel is just a short walk from Nanchang Street, which made it super convenient to explore the old street with the kids and take a boat ride along the canal. Nanchansi Temple is also only a ten-minute walk away, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, which was very handy. The hotel overlooks the Grand Canal and is the tallest building in the area, a prominent feature in any photo of Nanchang Street. The soundproofing in the rooms was excellent, and daily housekeeping was meticulous. No one pressured us for a good review, but it truly is a fantastic accommodation choice for families visiting Wuxi.From€48

The overall environment and facilities are pretty good, definitely commendable. The staff provided quality service even during the Spring Festival, which is great. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's hardware is a bit old; the air conditioning unit is quite bulky, and when the bathroom's ceiling and wall lights are on at the same time, there's a noticeable and jarring electrical buzzing sound. I hope they can improve this in the future. The kids' play area is fantastic. Overall, it's worth recommending.From€67

My sister has been taking Go grading exams in Jiangsu since she started, eventually getting to 4-dan, all in Wuxi. Every time she came for an exam, we stayed at the Intercontinental. The first four times, she almost always got promoted with seven consecutive wins, so we always said Wuxi and the Intercontinental were her lucky charms. But since last year, it seems the magic has worn off. She's tried twice now for her 5-dan in Wuxi and hasn't passed either time. This trip, we still stayed at the Intercontinental. I booked a two-night package on Ctrip for 999 RMB, including breakfast for two. When checking in, the front desk gave us drink vouchers and a small welcome gift: a bottle of sparkling water and a small box of cookies. My sister said the cookies were delicious. On the first morning, they even gave my 10-year-old sister a complimentary breakfast, though she didn't eat much – just a bread and a juice – before rushing off to the competition. The Intercontinental is always my first choice for hotels wherever I go; the service is excellent and truly deserves praise. It seems my sister's struggle to reach 5-dan is due to her skill, not where she stays or where she competes. After several consecutive years of coming to Wuxi, we probably won't be back for a while.From€67

The hotel's location is decent. It's about a 10-yuan Didi ride to the city center, which makes getting around quite convenient, though it's not within walking distance. I booked two rooms, and the air conditioning in one of them wasn't cooling well. While not broken, it seemed like the machine was old as the temperature didn't drop even after two hours. The front desk manager, Ms. Da, handled the situation very efficiently. She arranged for us to switch rooms while we were out for dinner. Her ability to prioritize guests' needs and her strong work ethic are truly commendable. On another note, for a five-star hotel, the breakfast was quite poor, but at least it was filling. The swimming pool is outsourced and was extremely lively, especially during the summer holidays.From€53

The hotel's location is truly excellent, right next to the entrance of Wuxi North Railway Station on the left. Before coming to Wuxi, I made a mistake with another booking, which led me to arrive at the hotel lobby around 9 AM with my elderly family members, children, and luggage. I originally thought I could only store my bags and check in later in the afternoon. Luckily, I met a sweet and smiling front desk staff member, Xiao Jiang. After understanding our situation, she actively coordinated and quickly arranged rooms on an ideal floor for us, and they were adjacent, which was convenient for me to look after the elders. That day, a typhoon was predicted to make landfall directly in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas. She gave us great suggestions, allowing us to visit Yuantouzhu and Liyuan in time; otherwise, they would have closed half a day later. She even added me on WeChat to follow up on our stay experience, promptly reminding us of weather changes and traffic information. She was incredibly thoughtful, truly beautiful inside and out. My kids are grown up now, so I specifically booked a family room for this trip. The hotel started off great, but then I noticed the attention to detail was lacking! First, the single bed in the room was a spring bed, and the mattress was clearly old and deeply sunken in the middle, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. My child didn't complain, but as a parent, I felt quite uneasy. Since it's a family room, why wouldn't they provide a standard single bed? Secondly, the restaurant service. The coffee machine needed cleaning, and I even told a staff member, but by the time we finished our meal, the coffee still hadn't been served. Breakfast in the restaurant goes until 10 AM, but when we went at 9:30 AM, some dishes and drinks were no longer being refilled. I don't think this is right. Had a great weekend stay overall. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to an executive floor lake-view room and received complimentary welcome fruits and executive lounge access.
The hotel's biggest advantage is definitely its environment. Located right by Li Lake, my room offered direct lake views from the window, and it was lovely to take a stroll along the lakeside. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Service was also excellent. The staff at the front desk, executive lounge, restaurants, concierge, and room service were all very friendly and responded to guest requests promptly.
Room facilities were standard Marriott offerings – neither exceptional nor disappointing. The large floor-to-ceiling windows provided fantastic lake views, and the standard bathtub was great for a relaxing soak in the evening. The bathroom also had a separate vanity area. The only minor issue I encountered was a loose power outlet near the desk, which I hope the hotel will maintain or replace promptly.
Public facilities were well-maintained. The pool had lifeguards, and the changing rooms offered individual private changing spaces, which was a nice touch. The underground parking had dedicated Tesla charging stations, which is very convenient for EV owners.
Dining was generally good. The breakfast buffet had noodle, egg, and specialty noodle stations. This time, the specialty was Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), and all the usual categories were available. Despite the large summer crowd, the on-site order and management were quite good. The executive lounge's Happy Hour offered a decent selection of alcoholic beverages, and while the light meal options weren't extensive, they were tasty. Room service was prompt, and the late-night opening hours and menu variety weren't reduced, which is commendable. Also, the roasted pigeon at the Chinese restaurant is highly recommended.
Finally, two small suggestions:
1) Given the high number of pool users during summer, I suggest the changing rooms' cleaning frequency be increased, and used towels be cleared promptly.
2) The underground parking could use more cleaning, especially the water stains near the loading dock, which I hope can be addressed in a timely manner.
Overall, it was a very good stay. The hotel's environment and service were quite satisfying. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Wuxi.From€78

Arriving by taxi, I was immediately struck by the hotel's stunning scenery – a courtyard reminiscent of a Jiangnan garden. The hotel lobby was grand and impressive. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, helping me check into my room. The room itself was pleasantly spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows. Aside from the older-style furniture, everything else was newly replaced. The room was also very clean and hygienic, and the sheets and duvet cover were very comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and offered excellent value for money.From€31

Came to Wuxi for a business trip and some relaxation, and stayed at the Snow Wave Songpin Hotel. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, definitely a five-star review!
First, the environment. The hotel has a new Chinese garden style, with pavilions, waterside platforms, and beautiful scenery at every step, full of Jiangnan charm. The room was very spacious, and the courtyard view offered great privacy. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
The most commendable aspect was our butler, Helen! From pre-check-in communication to check-out, Helen was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She proactively arranged airport pickup and check-in before our arrival, and upon reaching the hotel, she took the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. Any requests I had during my stay were met with an almost instant response via WeChat. Her responsiveness and service awareness were exceptional. At check-out, she even thoughtfully presented a farewell gift, which was a lovely gesture.
Regarding other facilities, the breakfast offered a rich variety, and the Wuxi xiaolongbao and Aozhao noodles were quite authentic. The hotel's location right next to Sunac Land made it very convenient to visit Sunac Mall for shopping and dining.
In summary, I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Wuxi and will recommend it to my friends. Helen's service was truly the highlight of the entire stay. Thank you, Helen, for your dedicated hospitality! 🌸From€125

Wuxi Yuju Center/Bayanban Center Wuxi|6.93km from city center
The room was very nice, and the service attitude was good. The room I was given was too close to the side, close to the subway track, and a little noisy. Seeing that I was a family of three, the front desk took the initiative to give me a breakfast coupon, which was also quite rich. It was just that I had to walk more than ten meters to the dining area after getting the food, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, this price was very good during the May Day Golden Week. A good hotel.From€27

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking, they were very helpful in finding a solution for us. Since we visited on a weekend, we were able to park next to China Telecom. We originally booked a superior room, but it felt a bit dark and the lighting wasn't great. We spoke to the front desk, and they promptly moved us to a different room, which was great! The bedding at Atour is, as always, incredibly comfortable! The breakfast was also good, with all the basic offerings.From€49

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a great wet-dry separation, felt very roomy, and the smart toilet was a really thoughtful touch. The 1.35m single bed was not only generously sized but also incredibly comfortable – for the first time ever, I didn't wake up with a sore back after staying in a hotel. Right in front of the hotel is a large lawn, and the surrounding area is a wetland park, offering an excellent ecological environment. At night, it was simply 'quiet.' The hotel hallways were also very wide, and the staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. The subway station is conveniently located near the hotel, making getting around super easy.
Bonus: There's a complimentary shuttle service to Jinkui Park for cherry blossom viewing if you book in advance! 🌸From€56

I specifically chose this Radisson Resort at Lianghong Wetland for a relaxing getaway, and it was absolutely the right choice.
The hotel is right next to Lianghong Wetland Park, with vast water features and lush greenery just a step away. It's uncrowded and peaceful. The room was spacious with great natural light, and the facilities were well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast offered a good variety and tasted great. Strolling around the park, feeling the wetland breeze, was incredibly stress-relieving. Overall, it's quiet and upscale, perfect for a short trip or a relaxing escape. Highly recommended.From€65
