Came to Wuxi for a get-together with my sisters, and chose the Suning Galaxy International Hotel for the views. The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of Wuxi at night, encompassing both the city skyline and glimpses of Huishan Mountain and Taihu Lake – I absolutely loved it! 💕 The bedding was super comfortable. I was woken up by insects outside the window in the middle of the night, which was a small hiccup, but after communicating with the butler, the issue was resolved promptly and efficiently. This dedication to prioritizing guests' peace and comfort truly reflects the core of the hotel's service. Good management isn't just about spotting problems, but also about the comforting touch that follows [strong]. It's also worth mentioning that the hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of shopping and dining downstairs [satisfied]. Our personal butler, Bunny, was always online and responded quickly to any requests, making our check-in and stay incredibly smooth and worry-free [love].FromHK$595

I had specifically noted my request beforehand, hoping for two adjoining rooms as I was traveling with a child. Instead, they gave me two rooms on opposite ends of the floor, the furthest apart possible. After speaking with the front desk, they promptly moved one room right next door. This whole episode could have been avoided if they had paid attention to guests' special requests in the first place.
The hotel's room amenities and decor are very nice, and the location is also excellent. My family was initially very happy and we even thought about making this our go-to hotel whenever we visit Wuxi. However, to our dismay, the air conditioning was practically useless. Our room had no windows and was incredibly stuffy. Coincidentally, the day we checked in, the temperature rose. It was 28 degrees Celsius in the room at night, and with the soft bed and thick duvet, sleeping was impossible. I reported it to the front desk, but even the maintenance staff couldn't do anything; the hotel just turned on the fresh air system. As a result, my elderly family member had to spend the night in the lobby, and my child tossed and turned all night, drenched in sweat.
I reported the situation again the next day, but the promised callback never materialized. However, I do appreciate that they extended our check-out time so my child could nap. If the hotel's air conditioning continues to be this bad, I wouldn't recommend staying here. This has been the worst hotel experience I've had in years.FromHK$435

The hotel's location is absolutely superb. After exiting the hotel and turning right, you walk about 100 meters, go through an underpass to cross the road, and you'll emerge directly facing Nanshangtang. The famous Nanchang Street is just across the river, parallel to Nanshangtang. Nanshangtang is narrower, while Nanchang Street is wider, and there's a bridge connecting them. If you keep walking straight, you'll reach Qingming Bridge, which offers beautiful views. If you don't feel like walking along the river, there's a ferry you can take. It's very pleasant to wander around, shop, and eat. When you get tired, you can easily return to the hotel to rest and then head out again to see the night views when it gets dark. The hotel is a well-established five-star property, and its facilities are definitely up to standard, offering an old-school luxury. The room decor still has a decade-old style, which is understandable, but the rooms are spacious, and the view of Nanchang Street at night from the window is stunning. The hotel is also very close to the airport, a convenient 20-minute drive. It's about 10 kilometers to Yuantouzhu, and some traffic during cherry blossom season is to be expected and acceptable.
Service: The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the service. There was absolutely none of the rigorously trained service attitude you'd expect from a long-standing hotel. During check-in and check-out, there were no smiles or greetings like ”hello.” This wasn't just a few individuals; it was consistent across all front desk staff and the luggage storage area. They were cold and unwelcoming, which was very surprising. A smile should be a basic requirement.FromHK$546

I frequently stay at the InterContinental Wuxi Hotel 🏨. The concierge is always friendly and helpful with luggage, and the front desk is incredibly efficient. This was my second stay at Taihu Hotel. The environment is beautiful, with a high greenery coverage, making the entire hotel feel like it's nestled in a large garden. The deluxe room we booked had excellent facilities, offering good value for money. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich and tasty, but it was far too crowded with no apparent crowd control. About 70% of the guests staying here are elderly, and they were quite aggressive during breakfast. Many guests wouldn't queue, directly grabbing baskets of soup dumplings, taking whole plates without considering those behind them. The smoked fish, which was supposed to be a topping for noodles, was also being taken by the plateful. These behaviors probably reflect how great the hotel's value for money is! However, it significantly detracts from the vacation experience, and I might consider a different hotel next time.FromHK$509

I came to Wuxi for a marathon and specifically chose a hotel close to the subway station for convenience.
It was quite a pleasant surprise to see the hotel building just a short walk from the subway exit. It's very close to the subway station and looks quite grand.
The hotel seems to be a bit older, but it's been renovated in the past couple of years. The overall hardware facilities are decent (though the TV is small and unclear, and a cabinet door hinge was broken).
What truly deserves praise is the front desk staff. Although they are older than the young staff you find at other hotels, their service attitude is excellent. Their language and gestures are very professional. For example, for something as small as taking the elevator, a staff member would see you coming and press the elevator for you in advance. In the evening, an uncle on duty saw that the four elevators were taking a long time to arrive, so he proactively came to check if there was a problem. Then, he would see which elevator was about to arrive, call everyone over to wait there, and reassure them. These are small things, but they were handled exceptionally well, leaving guests feeling very satisfied.
The hotel's screens displayed a welcome message for marathon runners, which was also a very thoughtful touch.
The room had a bathtub, and I asked the front desk for a disposable bathtub liner to use.
After finishing the marathon on Sunday and returning to the hotel, the lobby manager warmly greeted me with ”You've worked hard!” and quickly helped me press the elevator. Many runners ordered takeout for lunch, and since there weren't enough robots, several front desk staff personally delivered the meals to the rooms.FromHK$255

Taking advantage of the year-end holiday, we brought our parents and children for a vacation. With a significant temperature drop across the country in mid-December, we wanted a hotel with hot springs. After comparing many hotels in the area, we finally chose Futao Hot Spring Hotel.
Location: Besides its excellent value for money, the key advantage is its superb location. It's within a 20-minute drive of attractions like Nanshan Bamboo Sea, Shanjuan Cave, Yaohu Town, and Tao Erchang in Liyang.
Environment: The surrounding environment is beautiful, built against the mountains, with the main entrance facing the lake. The scenery is pleasant and the air is fresh.

The room was very nice, and the service attitude was good. The room I was given was too close to the side, close to the subway track, and a little noisy. Seeing that I was a family of three, the front desk took the initiative to give me a breakfast coupon, which was also quite rich. It was just that I had to walk more than ten meters to the dining area after getting the food, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, this price was very good during the May Day Golden Week. A good hotel.FromHK$297

Taihu Yuantouzhu/Liyuan Scenic Area Wuxi|7.15km from city center
Got a complimentary upgrade to a newly renovated lake-view room with a balcony. The room was simple yet spotless, spacious, and bright, with an incredible view directly overlooking Lihu Lake. Every corner of the hotel offers a beautiful scene, and it's just a two-minute walk to Liyuan Garden. The bedding was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay and a great night's sleep. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning felt wonderful. The dining environment is excellent, and the breakfast spread is generous – I stayed three nights and enjoyed a different variety each morning. The facilities are comprehensive, and the service is attentive. The complimentary travel photoshoot offered by the hotel was a nice touch and worth experiencing. Transportation is convenient, with boat rides from Liyuan Garden directly to Yuantouzhu, and the hotel is close to all the main attractions.FromHK$491

I chose Eddie Garden Hotel for this trip to Wuxi. The experience was great! The location is good, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and it is close to the highway and Yanqiao Station of Metro Line 1. The internal environment is even better. It is surrounded by water on three sides and has an inner garden. The charm of Jiangnan water town and modern fashion are perfectly integrated. There are also cute little rabbits, the room is clean and comfortable, the service staff is warm and thoughtful, and the food is rich and delicious. The leisure facilities are also complete. I will stay here next time I come to Wuxi!FromHK$472

① They offer bed rails, and you can choose whether or not to have them installed.
② The service across the board was excellent, very proactive and attentive.
③ I had average expectations for breakfast based on other reviews, but it was actually a pleasant surprise and very good.
④ The ancient town has nice scenery, but the river water quality is only so-so, which slightly detracts from the overall experience.
⑤ Since the hotel itself is a scenic spot, rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy during the day, while rooms by the river are very quiet.
⑥ The mini-bar is automatically refilled and complimentary for repeat stays.
Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay!FromHK$873

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking, they were very helpful in finding a solution for us. Since we visited on a weekend, we were able to park next to China Telecom. We originally booked a superior room, but it felt a bit dark and the lighting wasn't great. We spoke to the front desk, and they promptly moved us to a different room, which was great! The bedding at Atour is, as always, incredibly comfortable! The breakfast was also good, with all the basic offerings.FromHK$420

I brought my parents to Wuxi for a visit and found this hotel on Ctrip. It is very cost-effective. What attracts me most is that pets can be brought in, which is very convenient. The hotel is in a prime location, convenient for travel, and the overall stay experience is also very good. The hotel covers a large area, the lobby and rooms are very spacious, the facilities are also new, and the supporting facilities are complete, which makes it very comfortable to live in. Special thanks to Geng Xiaolan, the assistant manager of the lobby, for her warm and thoughtful service. The location of the room originally arranged by the front desk was not ideal. Manager Geng helped me coordinate a room change as soon as possible, and I was very satisfied with the final room. It was a very pleasant stay experience and I would recommend it to my friends!FromHK$462

The night before, I stayed at the Degan Hotel next door, but they didn't have air conditioning. So, the next day I switched to this hotel. The main reason was its proximity, right next to Degan. Also, I called ahead to confirm they had AC. The highest temperature in Wuxi that day was 28-29 degrees Celsius, and their air conditioning was fantastic! 😄 This stay completely changed my impression of Home Inn Plus. The room was simply decorated, very new, and a good size – not cramped at all. The hygiene was good, and the bedding was comfortable. I also paid 39 yuan for the hotel's double breakfast. The food was delicious, and they even had freshly made noodles and shepherd's purse wontons. The service was excellent; the auntie even brought it to my table.FromHK$221

The room was spacious and even had a small balcony. The surroundings were beautiful, though it's a bit far from the city center, making it ideal for those with a car. My only discomfort was that the mattress was too soft, which might not be suitable for people with back problems. It's pet-friendly, and they even prepared pee pads and other supplies for my dog. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant with a package deal; the food was decent, and it was good value for money.FromHK$593
