The front desk service was excellent; the staff, all dressed in suits and white shirts, were incredibly polite. Even the cleaning staff would politely greet you, which made for a very comfortable experience. The breakfast was also very generous. Laundry and drying facilities were always available without any wait, which was a nice touch. The building itself is grand, with high floors offering great views, especially pleasant at night. The soundproofing is excellent too; the heavy doors and soundproof strips mean you can't hear any noise from next door. They also provide a complimentary large fruit platter, a free minibar, and many free beverages. I particularly liked that the bed area, a more private space, isn't visible immediately upon entering the room – a very well-thought-out design. 👍👍👍 Hygiene: The cleanliness was exceptional. I checked several nooks and crannies, and there was no dust, which was very impressive. Environment: The environment was also fantastic. The hallways felt private and quiet. The high floor offered expansive views and good natural light, which was a big plus. Facilities: The lobby manager mentioned that the hotel was only renovated this year, and staying in a new hotel and new rooms was very comfortable. The overall quality is definitely top-notch. 👍👍👍

The Grand Hyatt Chongqing, located on Youth Road in the bustling Yuzhong District, boasts an excellent location. It's surrounded by popular commercial, dining, and shopping areas, and public transportation is incredibly convenient. Subway stations like Jiaochangkou and Linjiangmen are not far, Jiefangbei is practically on its doorstep, and Hongyadong and Chaotianmen are also very close. As a five-star hotel, the service quality is exceptional. The front desk staff are warm, attentive, and provide clear explanations. Staff throughout the hotel are also very friendly and polite. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, with a great swimming pool, gym, and a sky bar on the 39th floor. I chose an Executive Room for my stay. The room was spacious, and upon check-in, I received complimentary welcome fruit. The minibar in the room was available daily, and the afternoon tea was both high-quality and distinctive. The room was clean, hygienic, and well-equipped, with a very practical layout, including a separate wet and dry area. The bedding, including sheets, duvets, and pillows, was of good quality and comfortable to use. Breakfast at the hotel was incredibly rich, with a good variety, quantity, and quality of both Chinese and Western dishes, along with special Chongqing delicacies. Just a small suggestion: the power outlets in the rooms could be updated to be more in line with current needs, perhaps by increasing the number and adding newer types of ports. Overall, this hotel truly lives up to its 5-star standard, and with its reasonable price, choosing it for a trip to Chongqing offers great value for money.

Overall, the room was good. First, its downtown location is very convenient, just a few minutes from the Jiaochangkou subway station, and there are plenty of restaurants and a pharmacy downstairs. Second, the price is reasonable, and the room layout is practical. For our first two nights, we had a double bed, which is rare for a hotel to have a 1.5-meter bed; we had booked a 1.35-meter one, but the front desk staff upgraded us. Customer service was also very quick to respond. Even though the lobby on the first floor is shared by three different businesses, it doesn't affect the stay. If it's your first time visiting, I'd still recommend staying near Jiefangbei. However, there's one small detail: the washing machines are on the 13th floor and require a key card to access. There are only two, so you need to plan ahead for potential waiting times. It wasn't peak season when we visited, so the overall foot traffic wasn't too exaggerated. Oh, and one more thing, the mattress was comfortable; I didn't experience any insomnia during my three-night stay here!

No wonder this hotel gets so many rave reviews and high ratings – it really is excellent in every aspect! It offers great value for money, and is clean, tidy, and comfortable. When checking in, we received a free room upgrade, which made a big difference for three people. On the first day, we got complimentary welcome fruits, and then daily afternoon tea drinks. Upon checking out, they even gave us local specialty snacks. My mom was most impressed with the free laundry service. After all, every hotel's machines are different, and having someone collect and deliver our clothes saved us a lot of time and effort. We didn't have to stay up late watching the washing machine; we just called them to pick up the dirty clothes in the evening, and by early next morning, the clean laundry was right outside our door! Any issues we had were promptly handled by the front desk when we called. 👍

I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel for my trip to Chongqing. Some hotels had high ratings but were actually quite bad. In the end, I chose the Metropolitan Hotel, and it truly didn't disappoint. The location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and walk a few steps, and you're at Jiefangbei. Daijia Alley and Hongyadong are also within walking distance. About 200 meters away is Bayi Food Street, which has an abundance of snacks, restaurants, and local specialties, making it incredibly convenient. At the same time, it's not actually *on* Food Street, so you avoid the noise. Many hotels in Chongqing share a main entrance, with different hotels occupying different floors accessible by the same elevator, which can be chaotic. Waiting in line for the elevator wastes a lot of time. The Metropolitan Hotel, however, stands independently and quietly, which is rare and fantastic for a hotel in a tourist area! The hotel's service was also very thoughtful, leaving me with a wonderful impression of Chongqing's local culture as soon as I arrived. Although the hotel faces the street, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was also plentiful. However, I have one small suggestion: the hairdryer is a bit old-fashioned; it would be even better if it could be replaced with a newer model. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

The facilities are a bit old, but generally well-maintained. I stayed on the 26th floor and the room had a damp smell, which wasn't great. The windows felt like they weren't there at all; they provided no soundproofing. The showerhead was leaking and needs to be replaced. The elevators in the public areas felt like they had no AC, were very hot at noon, and were slow. Hygienics: Meets Hyatt standards. Environment: Meets Hyatt standards. Service: So-so. After 10 PM, there was no answer when calling room service. Location: Good, quiet yet central. There are many shopping areas nearby, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Other: The executive lounge's food was average with no live cooking stations. The pool has a hot tub and dry sauna, but the water quality was mediocre. Overall, everything is quite old.

At the end of May, I called to inquire about the Executive Lounge benefits, mentioning I was traveling with a child. The hotel's facilities were chic and modern, although the layout was a bit unusual. Arriving at an almost vacant ground-floor lobby and then proceeding to the 53rd floor for check-in was an interesting experience. While the bellmen and concierge staff were incredibly friendly and helpful both upon arrival and throughout my stay, it felt somewhat strange not having front desk staff immediately available on the ground floor. The service overall was excellent, and every staff member I encountered was warm and welcoming. The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square is also conveniently located near several local attractions, including a nearby temple. There are plenty of bars and dining options within walking distance, from delicious Chinese cuisine (especially hotpot) to Western-style restaurants such as Big Pizza. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and appreciated both the hotel's comfort and its prime location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing.

Traveling with my daughter after her college entrance exams, I intuitively picked this hotel from a list recommended by a friend, despite its tongue-twisting name which I still can't remember after three days. We arrived a little after 11 AM, and the front desk mentioned our booked room wasn't ready but offered an immediate upgrade. We took it and got an Executive River View Twin Room on the 59th floor. The river view was stunning, and the room itself was clean, bright, and comfortable – perfect for younger guests! After three days, here are the highlights: 1. **Impeccable Service:** The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Every time we returned, our room was spotless and tidied. The bath mat and slippers were always neatly placed in a convenient spot, and each night, a thoughtful touch like a face mask or a steam eye mask was left on the bedside table. The complimentary in-room snacks were also delicious. 2. **Exquisite Breakfast:** The breakfast was both refined and tasty. The restaurant is on the 62nd floor. At first glance, the food selection seemed average, but upon closer inspection, I realized that despite the compact space, the breakfast spread was surprisingly comprehensive. The refrigerated display offered beautiful and healthy options like salads in glass jars and a variety of flavored yogurts. 3. **Prime Location:** The location is superb, with the two rivers practically at your doorstep. Downstairs, there's a high-end commercial district, and both Jiefangbei and Hongyadong are within easy walking distance. **Minor Drawback:** The high floor and fast elevators might be uncomfortable for guests over 60 years old.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time; I absolutely have to give this hotel a huge thumbs-up! The hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We arrived very late, and it was quite cold, but the hotel immediately arranged an extra bed for us and even brought a small heater, which made us feel incredibly warm and welcome right away. The surrounding scenery is also beautiful. The grasslands are lush and expansive, and the air is fresh, making it a very comfortable place to be. It's also lovely and cool in the summer. I stayed in a king room with a distant view, and the room had an excellent vantage point with amazing views outside the window. Waking up to such scenery every day put me in a great mood.

Facilities: The hotel lobby, elevators, and other public areas met expectations. Although the in-room facilities showed signs of age, they were well-maintained and fully functional. The shower room had some mold due to the weather; please address this promptly. Hygiene: Daily cleaning was timely, and toiletries were replaced neatly and sufficiently. Environment: The environment was quiet, and the hallways were clean and tidy. Service: Before check-in, the Guest Relations Officer (GRO) contacted me promptly. Requests, such as changing pillows, were met quickly with enthusiastic service.

One outstanding quality of the Marriott culture is the pervasive enthusiasm, proactiveness, and responsibility shown by almost everyone in their work and towards customers, evident in all procedures, processes, and elements. At the front desk, I approached a staff member (let's call them Xiao Liang) with specific requests: a quiet room, not facing the street, away from the elevator, and preferably on a high floor. Xiao Liang listened patiently throughout, discussing all the details. Then, another staff member (Xiao Cui) was arranged to show me different room types, going up and down floors. Xiao Cui cheerfully bustled around. Xiao Liang then suggested waiting a bit longer to find an even better room—room 3609. This room was premium and spacious, with an open layout, quiet, and clean. As I opened the door, the curtains and sheers slowly rose, offering a panoramic view of the Yangtze River. The bedding was comfortable and soft, ensuring a sweet night's sleep. The housekeeping staff, Xiao Yuan, changed the sheets and towels for two consecutive days and neatly folded my clothes, which I had left in disarray. Both Xiao Yuan and Xiao Zhang generously provided pure bottled water daily. When I called customer service to have a window adjusted, the staff member arrived within minutes. Very satisfactory. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, plus local snacks, with over a dozen chefs showcasing their skills live. Staff continuously cleaned tables, and the environment was beautiful. The overall hotel ambiance was luxurious. Over the next three days, each time I went to the front desk, I observed every staff member showing great patience with every guest. When I extended my stay, the front desk staff, Xiao Zhang (?), quickly re-activated my room key card. This level of service and management was so satisfying that I extended my stay by another day, cancelling my original plans for other accommodation. I give it 5 stars.

I had a pleasant stay at Asiam International Hotel in Hongyadong/Jiefangbei, Chongqing. Overall, everything was good and met my expectations. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was decent, with enough variety for a satisfying meal. One thing that was a little confusing at first is that three hotels share the same lobby area, so it can take a moment to figure out where to go. However, after check-in, everything was straightforward. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. If you have business, sightseeing plans, or other activities indэ Jiefangbei area, it is convenient and makes getting around very easy.

The location is incredibly convenient. The subway is only 190 meters away, and Hongyadong is right behind the hotel. In front, you'll find a shopping mall and Jiefangbei. A short walk downhill takes you to Shibati, and downstairs there are plenty of snack and hot pot restaurants.

The hotel is located near the Monument to the People's Liberation, and the front desk staff were very warm and friendly. There are also many dining, entertainment, and sightseeing spots nearby, and it's about a 15-minute walk to Hongyadong. The room was quite clean, and the bedding was tidy and stain-free. The surrounding commercial area is well-equipped, making it super convenient for shopping.

My stay at Orange Crystal Hotel was truly an experience that exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic; the subway station is right outside, and taking a taxi to the main shopping districts is just a starting fare. There are plenty of dining options and attractions nearby, making getting around incredibly convenient. As soon as you enter the lobby, you're greeted by a refreshing fragrance. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, and they thoughtfully provided welcome fruits and complimentary floral tea and coffee. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the electronic curtains and smart devices were very easy to use. What impressed me most were the bedding and soundproofing. The mattress was soft and comfortable, and with the windows closed, it was incredibly quiet, allowing even someone like me who's particular about beds to sleep soundly through the night. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, combining Western and Chinese dishes, along with local specialties – definitely highly recommended!

Traveling to Chongqing with my child, I compared several hotels before buying a group deal for this one online. It's truly well-suited for families. The twin room offers plenty of space for kids to run around comfortably. The entire room is very clean, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. Its central location in Jiefangbei means we can walk to Hongyadong and Raffles City, saving us from long treks with the little one. There are numerous convenience stores and snack shops nearby, making it easy to find kid-friendly breakfast options that are more varied than the hotel's breakfast. The staff are gentle and patient, and they offer free stroller storage. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. The group purchase price was very reasonable, and the weekend surcharge was clearly and transparently marked with no hidden tricks. They also support free refunds for itinerary changes, making it a great value for a short trip with kids.
