To those worried about the air conditioning not being cool enough, rest assured, even on the lowest setting, it's perfectly comfortable. I saw all the positive reviews in the comments section showing pictures of the front desk view and thought they might be fake, which made me a bit worried when checking in. But to my surprise, the room I was assigned was actually really good. The bedding and linens felt new and fresh, and the cleanliness was also fine. The only minor downside was that the laundry bags felt a bit low quality. Overall, it's an excellent stay. It would be even better if the two elevators could be linked together for faster service.

This is an old hotel, but it's very well-maintained, and the quality is still top-notch! I stayed here once about 10 years ago and hadn't been back since. This hotel used to be quite the place back then! I'm delighted to have had the chance to stay again. Both the facilities and service are excellent, and the location is super convenient. I'll definitely come back if I have the opportunity! Also, a big thank you to Luke Lee at the front desk for his very warm welcome during check-in!

The Glenview ITC plaza hotel is one of the best hotels we stayed. It was a walking distance to major sightseeing places of Chongqing as well as had great eating places in and around the hotel. The breakfast-lunch buffet till 13:30 had a good selection, which was changed at 11:30. In addition, the afternoon tea served on 39th floor provided with a great view of the city while enjoying a game of pool. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.

My stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing was fantastic. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Raffles City commercial center, with endless shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Getting around was incredibly convenient. The room itself was exceptionally spacious and bright, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Chongqing from every window. It was fully equipped with amenities like a kitchen and laundry facilities, making for a very comfortable stay – perfect for families or business travelers. A special shout-out to the hotel staff for their warm and attentive service; they were always quick to assist with everything from check-in to daily needs, which was incredibly comforting. I've been to Chongqing many times, but this was my first stay at a Kempinski. I'd seen on Trip.com that the hotel opened in 2012, so I assumed the facilities and decor might be a bit outdated. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite being open for 14 years, this Kempinski is still exceptionally well-maintained. The original construction materials and furnishings were clearly high-quality, luxury items, so overall, aside from the slightly older design and decor style, everything else was unexpectedly good. This includes the dining options – whether it was Elements Western Restaurant, the Beer Bar, or the Executive Lounge, the food quality was impressive. The desserts and bread, in particular, truly showcased the essence of German culinary excellence. Of course, as a boutique hotel under the GHA DISCOVERY alliance, what truly impressed me most was the service. From the welcoming attitude of the staff to the efficiency of the management team in resolving issues, it truly lives up to Kempinski's reputation as a European hotel aristocrat. Special thanks to the hotel management and operations teams for their meticulous care and excellent service during my stay. Employees like Wilson, the Director of Rooms, Paul, the Guest Services Manager, and Lucy, the Executive Lounge intern, all deserve special recognition!

We were two adults and two children, in town for a concert. Now that the kids are older, a comfortable sleep is a priority, so I always look for hotels with two 1.8m beds. This often limits my choices, as most other hotels only offer 1.35m twin beds. I really appreciate that this place has two 1.8m beds. The location is excellent – a mere three to four-minute walk from Jiefangbei, and the nearest subway station, Jiaochangkou, is less than a 5-minute walk away. The snack street downstairs is also incredibly convenient. It's also very close to Shancheng 18 Steps, and you can take Line 2 directly to the Olympic Sports Center for concerts. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay. We did encounter a couple of minor issues during our stay – the shower head wouldn't switch and the internet wasn't connecting, but these were resolved very quickly. If we come back with the kids, I'd definitely choose this hotel again. The only downside is that there are many hotels in this building, so the elevators can take a while to arrive.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Chongqing Jiafengbei! The hotel offers excellent value for money - definitely the best in its price range. We were given a spacious 2-room setup with a comfortable 1.5m bed. Although our room had no view, it really didn’t matter as the room itself was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The highlight was the reception staff - they were incredibly beautiful, friendly, and attentive. The lady at the front desk even went out of her way to provide us with extra fruits and drinks, which made us feel truly welcomed. Great location, good facilities, and outstanding service. Came to Chongqing for my kid's spring break, and the hotel's location is excellent – you can see Jiefangbei right from the main entrance. However, the hotel is quite old. The air conditioning units feel like they're from a renovation ten years ago. Because it was raining the day we arrived, the room also had a strong musty smell, and there was a bad odor from the bathroom drains. We arrived too late that day to switch rooms, but I did communicate the situation to the front desk when checking out. They responded very quickly, and their service attitude is definitely commendable. With the room rate approaching 900 near the May Day holiday, the value for money is questionable. I've stayed at many Hyatt hotels across the country, and this one doesn't stand out for its facilities.

The facilities are a bit old, but generally well-maintained. I stayed on the 26th floor and the room had a damp smell, which wasn't great. The windows felt like they weren't there at all; they provided no soundproofing. The showerhead was leaking and needs to be replaced. The elevators in the public areas felt like they had no AC, were very hot at noon, and were slow. Hygienics: Meets Hyatt standards. Environment: Meets Hyatt standards. Service: So-so. After 10 PM, there was no answer when calling room service. Location: Good, quiet yet central. There are many shopping areas nearby, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Other: The executive lounge's food was average with no live cooking stations. The pool has a hot tub and dry sauna, but the water quality was mediocre. Overall, everything is quite old.

Breakfast was one of the best with a good local and international spread. Do visit the free night view of Chongqing at the highest floor and nice indoor swimming pool.

Although building seems old but front desk staff were v friendly and assisted us with our taobao purchases. Our 2 bedrooms suite were spacious and clean. But hangers were limited and only master bedroom has bath robes. Location is ideal, 5 mins walk to malls and 美食街 is open till late night. Recommended but need go front desk to collect *******.

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Chongqing and overall had a good experience. The biggest positive is the location. The hotel is within walking distance of Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, with easy access to the metro, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The views around the area are fantastic, especially at night. Check-in was straightforward and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and provided a good start to the day. The room was comfortable and generally met our expectations. However, on the morning of our tour, the sink pipe failed and leaked significantly, making the sink unusable when we were trying to get ready for an early departure. This was inconvenient as we could not properly use the sink for washing or brushing our teeth before leaving. To the hotel's credit, the issue was repaired while we were out later that day and did not affect the remainder of our stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and good value, but the maintenance issue prevents me from giving full marks.

This hotel is right by Jiefangbei's famous snack street, making it super convenient to catch a taxi or the subway downstairs. The location is absolutely fantastic. What really stood out to me, though, was the service from the front desk staff, especially one young lady. She was incredibly professional and refined; I almost felt like I was staying at a five-star hotel. When I checked out, they even gave me hotpot seasoning and twisted doughnuts as a souvenir! The value for money here is outstanding. I'm extremely satisfied.

The location is fantastic, right behind Raffles City, making it super convenient for sightseeing, exploring the area, and enjoying the night views. It seems like most guests here are tourists, so it's a great spot for a vacation. Perhaps because the location is so excellent, the hardware facilities aren't quite as impressive as other Orange Crystal hotels.

Room Type: I stayed in their king-size bed room, which was quite spacious. It came equipped with a smart toilet and a full-length mirror. The shower area even had a dedicated vanity mirror, which is super convenient for female travelers. Location: The location is excellent, right next to Jiefangbei and World 8. It's a 5-minute walk to those spots, and I also checked out the 18 Steps at night, which really gives you a feel for Chongqing's 'mountain city' vibe. It's also quite close to Hongyadong.
