The hotel front desk service was excellent, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. All the staff were very friendly. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Chongqing, and the breakfast, especially the Chongqing noodles, is a highlight. The noodles taste fantastic, and you can even adjust the spice level yourself – how can you visit Chongqing without trying its noodles? It's also very close to Guanyin Bridge and North Station, so the location is superb and very convenient for getting around. This will definitely be my go-to place every time I visit. The guest services were very enthusiastic, guiding us to the elevators and helping with our luggage. 333 – fantastic!

The hotel is not far from the subway, and the restaurant and front desk staff were excellent, living up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. However, the hotel itself feels a bit dated. The room was spacious but the lighting was too dim. This was my first time seeing a hotel entrance located in a small alleyway. The price was reasonable. Overall, my experience was okay.

I stayed at Glenview ITC Plaza Chongqing for 12 nights (June 8–20, 2026) while visiting my family in Chongqing, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel is in a great location. My room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. However, what truly made this stay unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality of the hotel staff. I would especially like to thank Ms. Lin Yan, who cleaned my room every day. She was incredibly responsible and meticulous. My room was always spotless and beautifully organized. The hotel also surprised me with a fresh fruit plate every two days, which was a thoughtful and welcoming touch. I also want to express my sincere appreciation to Huimin, the concierge, whose warm, professional, and attentive service made my stay even more enjoyable. There was also a young gentleman at the front entrance who wore glasses. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for his name, but I will never forget his kindness. When I arrived on June 8, he helped carry my two large suitcases to my room. On June 20, when I checked out around 11:50 a.m., it was raining. He kindly went outside to help me find a taxi in the rain and carefully loaded both of my heavy suitcases into the taxi. I didn’t realize until I arrived at the airport that I had forgotten to ask his name. I truly regret that and would like to say, “Thank you so much!” Another highlight was the breakfast service. Breakfast is available until 1:30 p.m., which is incredibly thoughtful for international travelers dealing with jet lag. It allowed us to enjoy breakfast without having to rush early in the morning. This hotel offers not only excellent facilities but, more importantly, genuine hospitality and exceptional customer service. Every staff member I met was warm, professional, and made me feel truly welcome. Thank you to everyone at Glenview ITC Plaza Chongqing for making my visit to Chongqing so memorable. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing and will gladly recommend this wonderful hotel to my family and friends. Highly recommended!

I've been to Chongqing many times, but this was my first stay at a Kempinski. I'd seen on Trip.com that the hotel opened in 2012, so I assumed the facilities and decor might be a bit outdated. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite being open for 14 years, this Kempinski is still exceptionally well-maintained. The original construction materials and furnishings were clearly high-quality, luxury items, so overall, aside from the slightly older design and decor style, everything else was unexpectedly good. This includes the dining options – whether it was Elements Western Restaurant, the Beer Bar, or the Executive Lounge, the food quality was impressive. The desserts and bread, in particular, truly showcased the essence of German culinary excellence. Of course, as a boutique hotel under the GHA DISCOVERY alliance, what truly impressed me most was the service. From the welcoming attitude of the staff to the efficiency of the management team in resolving issues, it truly lives up to Kempinski's reputation as a European hotel aristocrat. Special thanks to the hotel management and operations teams for their meticulous care and excellent service during my stay. Employees like Wilson, the Director of Rooms, Paul, the Guest Services Manager, and Lucy, the Executive Lounge intern, all deserve special recognition!

I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel for my trip to Chongqing. Some hotels had high ratings but were actually quite bad. In the end, I chose the Metropolitan Hotel, and it truly didn't disappoint. The location is excellent. Turn right out of the hotel and walk a few steps, and you're at Jiefangbei. Daijia Alley and Hongyadong are also within walking distance. About 200 meters away is Bayi Food Street, which has an abundance of snacks, restaurants, and local specialties, making it incredibly convenient. At the same time, it's not actually *on* Food Street, so you avoid the noise. Many hotels in Chongqing share a main entrance, with different hotels occupying different floors accessible by the same elevator, which can be chaotic. Waiting in line for the elevator wastes a lot of time. The Metropolitan Hotel, however, stands independently and quietly, which is rare and fantastic for a hotel in a tourist area! The hotel's service was also very thoughtful, leaving me with a wonderful impression of Chongqing's local culture as soon as I arrived. Although the hotel faces the street, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was also plentiful. However, I have one small suggestion: the hairdryer is a bit old-fashioned; it would be even better if it could be replaced with a newer model. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

The facilities are a bit old, but generally well-maintained. I stayed on the 26th floor and the room had a damp smell, which wasn't great. The windows felt like they weren't there at all; they provided no soundproofing. The showerhead was leaking and needs to be replaced. The elevators in the public areas felt like they had no AC, were very hot at noon, and were slow. Hygienics: Meets Hyatt standards. Environment: Meets Hyatt standards. Service: So-so. After 10 PM, there was no answer when calling room service. Location: Good, quiet yet central. There are many shopping areas nearby, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Other: The executive lounge's food was average with no live cooking stations. The pool has a hot tub and dry sauna, but the water quality was mediocre. Overall, everything is quite old.

Before coming to Chongqing, I did a lot of research on hotels, and I usually book through Ctrip. After reading many reviews, I felt that the Westin Hotel Chongqing Jiefangbei was suitable for staying with children in all aspects. I had some concerns before checking in, but they were completely alleviated after I arrived. Firstly, the staff were all very welcoming. The butler even added me on WeChat beforehand, saying I could contact them anytime for any needs. The room hygiene was also satisfactory, and the breakfast every day was very rich. I especially loved the fresh juices and various porridges. The hotel's location is also excellent; it's a 15-minute walk to Raffles City and a 10-minute walk to Jiefangbei. There are plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options nearby, all within walking distance or a short taxi ride. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay! Next time I come, the Westin will definitely be my top choice again!

I stayed at Niccolo Chongqing for a total of 7 days this time, and my overall experience was excellent. First and foremost, the hotel's location is superb, right above IFS. It's perfect for both business travelers and tourists. The area downstairs is relatively quiet and pleasant, great for an evening stroll. If you want to visit attractions, you can just cross the bridge. Secondly, and most importantly, a good hotel ensures a good night's sleep, and Niccolo Chongqing excels at this. As soon as you enter, there's a subtle, soothing fragrance. The bedding is soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a peaceful sleep. Finally, regarding the facilities, the hotel's gym is relatively well-equipped and can meet most fitness needs. The hotel pool is also located on a high floor, offering beautiful views. Speaking of which, the hotel itself is on a high floor, providing breathtaking views outside the window, directly overlooking Hongyadong and the confluence of the two rivers. A big bonus was adding the butler, Heidi, on WeChat. It was incredibly convenient to contact her directly whenever needed, which promptly led me to extend my stay after a few days.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time; I absolutely have to give this hotel a huge thumbs-up! The hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. We arrived very late, and it was quite cold, but the hotel immediately arranged an extra bed for us and even brought a small heater, which made us feel incredibly warm and welcome right away. The surrounding scenery is also beautiful. The grasslands are lush and expansive, and the air is fresh, making it a very comfortable place to be. It's also lovely and cool in the summer. I stayed in a king room with a distant view, and the room had an excellent vantage point with amazing views outside the window. Waking up to such scenery every day put me in a great mood.

Facilities: The hotel lobby, elevators, and other public areas met expectations. Although the in-room facilities showed signs of age, they were well-maintained and fully functional. The shower room had some mold due to the weather; please address this promptly. Hygiene: Daily cleaning was timely, and toiletries were replaced neatly and sufficiently. Environment: The environment was quiet, and the hallways were clean and tidy. Service: Before check-in, the Guest Relations Officer (GRO) contacted me promptly. Requests, such as changing pillows, were met quickly with enthusiastic service.

One outstanding quality of the Marriott culture is the pervasive enthusiasm, proactiveness, and responsibility shown by almost everyone in their work and towards customers, evident in all procedures, processes, and elements. At the front desk, I approached a staff member (let's call them Xiao Liang) with specific requests: a quiet room, not facing the street, away from the elevator, and preferably on a high floor. Xiao Liang listened patiently throughout, discussing all the details. Then, another staff member (Xiao Cui) was arranged to show me different room types, going up and down floors. Xiao Cui cheerfully bustled around. Xiao Liang then suggested waiting a bit longer to find an even better room—room 3609. This room was premium and spacious, with an open layout, quiet, and clean. As I opened the door, the curtains and sheers slowly rose, offering a panoramic view of the Yangtze River. The bedding was comfortable and soft, ensuring a sweet night's sleep. The housekeeping staff, Xiao Yuan, changed the sheets and towels for two consecutive days and neatly folded my clothes, which I had left in disarray. Both Xiao Yuan and Xiao Zhang generously provided pure bottled water daily. When I called customer service to have a window adjusted, the staff member arrived within minutes. Very satisfactory. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, plus local snacks, with over a dozen chefs showcasing their skills live. Staff continuously cleaned tables, and the environment was beautiful. The overall hotel ambiance was luxurious. Over the next three days, each time I went to the front desk, I observed every staff member showing great patience with every guest. When I extended my stay, the front desk staff, Xiao Zhang (?), quickly re-activated my room key card. This level of service and management was so satisfying that I extended my stay by another day, cancelling my original plans for other accommodation. I give it 5 stars.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property.  Everyone was so nice and kind.  The service was top- notch.  The amenities were plenty and easy accessible.   A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet.  The view was so beautiful and calming as well.   Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.     I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see.   When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see.   It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions.  I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing,  SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views.  Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions.  Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.    If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience.

The hotel is located near the Monument to the People's Liberation, and the front desk staff were very warm and friendly. There are also many dining, entertainment, and sightseeing spots nearby, and it's about a 15-minute walk to Hongyadong. The room was quite clean, and the bedding was tidy and stain-free. The surrounding commercial area is well-equipped, making it super convenient for shopping.

I chose Orange Crystal for my trip to Chongqing with friends, and it completely exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic, within walking distance to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The smart home features are great, and the rainfall showerhead made for a super comfortable shower. The room was spotless and free of any odd smells. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, quick to respond to any issues. The facilities are new and well-equipped, offering amazing value for money. This is definitely my top choice for a trip to Chongqing, and I'll be staying here again!

Traveling to Chongqing with my child, I compared several hotels before buying a group deal for this one online. It's truly well-suited for families. The twin room offers plenty of space for kids to run around comfortably. The entire room is very clean, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. Its central location in Jiefangbei means we can walk to Hongyadong and Raffles City, saving us from long treks with the little one. There are numerous convenience stores and snack shops nearby, making it easy to find kid-friendly breakfast options that are more varied than the hotel's breakfast. The staff are gentle and patient, and they offer free stroller storage. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. The group purchase price was very reasonable, and the weekend surcharge was clearly and transparently marked with no hidden tricks. They also support free refunds for itinerary changes, making it a great value for a short trip with kids.
