The location is fantastic, making getting around super easy. Ziwei Road is right across the street, so grabbing a Heytea is incredibly convenient! In the evening, after a drink or two, it's just a two-minute walk back to the hotel. The room was clean, the bedding was soft and comfy against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly all night. The breakfast selection was quite diverse and totally exceeded my expectations; it felt like incredible value for money. Besides the usual Chinese and Western options, I highly recommend the freshly made noodles – they were delicious, and you can customize the spice level yourself. Overall, the experience was great. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chongqing!

How to put it, it's quite interesting. I've been on two business trips to Changsha recently and chose this hotel both times. Both times, I was assigned to building 29. After staying for a day, I realized it was the same cleaning lady as last time. I told her we had met before, and she actually remembered my room number from my last stay (which was about half a month ago)! She's truly dedicated. The environment and air quality are excellent, and it's very conveniently located with good transportation access. The cleanliness is also impeccable.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the Jiefangbei business district. We booked a family suite, and it even had a kitchen. The view wasn't spectacular, just a small glimpse of the river, but the minibar was all-you-can-drink and restocked promptly every day. Auntie Yang Jianrong, who cleaned our room daily, did a fantastic job keeping it spotless – high praise! Breakfast is served on the 8th floor; it's large and spacious, and you can eat from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM, so no worries about finding a seat. There's a rich variety of food, and the taste is decent. The underground parking seems to be shared with other businesses, and it can be hard to find a spot. If you arrive late or at an unlucky time, you might end up in a mechanical parking space. Overall, it's very good, great value for money, and excellent service.

This hotel was the best one we stayed at during our trip back to China. Angelina at the front desk was absolutely amazing! 👍👍 She was so attentive and patiently answered all our questions. She even upgraded our room when we asked. The hotel food was also super good, and the facilities were complete, clean, and beautiful. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. Even the staff outside the lobby were incredibly warm and funny. My husband, who was visiting Chongqing for the first time, absolutely loved this hotel. Location: Situated inside Chongqing's landmark 'Grand Sail' building, directly above Raffles City and with direct metro access. Within walking distance to Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the pier. There are three hotels in the 'Sail' building: InterContinental Raffles City, Hotel Indigo, and Ascott. Ascott is wholly owned by CapitaLand, the developer of Raffles City, so its quality is undoubtedly top-notch. Facilities: Positioned as a serviced apartment, the public areas are compact yet comfortable and practical. The lobby offers complimentary tea and fresh flowers. A significant portion of the public space is dedicated to guests. The gym is well-equipped with at least two treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as a full set of resistance machines. There's also a yoga room with river views, comparable to a small commercial gym. It provides hot/cold water, sanitizing wipes, towels, and even headphones with sterilized covers. The swimming pool was closed during our two-day stay, so we hope to check it out next time. Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused. The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space. Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both. Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful. All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

Just a heads-up: the hotel shares a lobby with another hotel, so pay attention when checking in to make sure you're at the right one. I chose to stay at the Kempinski Hotel Chongqing for a weekend. The hotel is located next to the Nanping Exhibition Center. This time, I booked a suite with executive lounge access, which allowed me to enjoy afternoon tea and dinner at Jiulang. It was quite good. I picked a corner suite with a direct river view, and the view was fantastic. Aside from the facilities being a bit dated, it was really nice. I love swimming, and I swam twice. Having stayed at other Hyatts before, I was always impressed with their breakfast, so I specifically booked the Grand Hyatt for our Chongqing trip, and the breakfast certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel itself is well-maintained, though the rooms are a bit basic. What I really want to talk about is the service, which was just so-so. We came to Chongqing after visiting Chengdu, where we stayed at the Lamborghini Hotel. When we checked in there, the front desk attendant immediately noticed we were two adults and one child and had someone bring up kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and plenty of bottled water without us even asking. Honestly, it's not just the Lamborghini; when traveling with kids, many hotels proactively provide children's amenities without you having to request them. However, at the Hyatt, during check-in, the front desk didn't mention children's toothbrushes or slippers, nor did they bring up the room upgrade that was supposedly included according to our Ctrip booking. I forgot to ask about it at the time and only remembered afterward. There were only two bottles of water in the room, but I didn't ask for more since we had brought so much water from the Lamborghini in Chengdu that we couldn't even finish it all. It just felt a bit stingy to only offer two bottles, especially given how hot it is in Chongqing.

The room was spacious, and the front desk and concierge service were excellent! **Cleanliness**: My sheets weren't changed on the second day, and there was hair on them – I'm not sure if it was mine or someone else's! **Facilities**: The mattress was wobbly and unstable, probably quite old. **Service**: The staff at the baggage storage in the concierge department were all very good and proactive! Housekeeping gave us plenty of complimentary water, which was appreciated. **Environment**: I was woken up in the middle of the night by people chatting loudly in the hallway.

My absolute favorite, old-money style! On my first trip to Chongqing, I specifically chose this Sheraton. As soon as I got into the Ferrari in Chongqing, the driver proudly started talking about how luxurious the Chongqing Sheraton was, how rich the owner was, and how expensive the rooms were. Nearing the hotel, I could see two large golden towers from afar – the Sheraton literally blinds you in the midday sun [facepalm emoji]. The hotel's overall style is European, very grand, and the rooms are well-maintained. The view of the Chongqing river is absolutely stunning. The front desk service is definitely international five-star standard. The three women with glasses were all very enthusiastic. They arranged for our two rooms to be on the same floor and even recommended some must-visit attractions in Chongqing. I just remembered to give it a five-star review and a shout-out today while going through my travel photos from this trip.

My stay at the Westin Chongqing Jiefangbei was absolutely perfect! The location is fantastic – right downstairs, you'll find Jiefangbei and Bayi Road Food Street, and Hongyadong is just a short walk away. The high-floor, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning two-river night views right from your bed, and the Heavenly Bed was so soft and comfortable for a great night's sleep. The 54th-floor infinity pool has breathtaking views, and the staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was efficient, the room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast included authentic Chongqing noodles. This is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Chongqing!

Jiangbeizui/Beibin Road Chongqing|2.53km from city center
Overall, the hotel is decent, but there's room for improvement in the details. Upon arrival, someone opened the car door and helped with luggage, which was great. Check-in was also very quick. However, the room had a few issues. First, the hairdryer was a bit faulty; it was plugged in but wouldn't work. I had to call someone to replace it. Second, the water pressure in the shower was too low; it could definitely be stronger. The hotel breakfast also had some problems. When I went for breakfast, someone seated me, and then a staff member asked if I wanted a drink. I requested an iced latte, and she said 'okay.' However, after more than twenty minutes, no latte arrived. Eventually, I went to the coffee machine myself and asked a staff member to make one for me. Also, I think the breakfast tables could have fewer unnecessary decorations and a better arrangement. There was an upright book on the table, and only after I picked it up did I realize there was a small potted plant behind it. I wondered if the plant might get knocked over if someone wasn't careful when grabbing the book… On the other hand, the butler service was quite good. Butler Yannie was very responsive to all requests, answered quickly, and was basically online all day. She even replied to my messages past 1 AM! Most importantly, her replies were timely and enthusiastic. I also want to thank her for sending a complimentary bottle of red wine, even though I forgot to drink it, haha… When I discussed extending my stay on the second night, she thoughtfully explained the process and answered all my questions, which I really appreciate 👍. The hotel room view was quite good, and the decor was also decent. The hotel's public areas are especially beautiful and perfect for photos. A special thanks to the front desk for upgrading me! I ended up in a river-view room, and the scenery outside the window was excellent.

Fairy Mountain National Forest Park/Fairy Mountain Town Chongqing|116.09km from city center
Hua Bang is a must-stay when visiting Fairy Mountain! The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the scenic area, very close to the mini-train. The hotel's shuttle service is excellent, picking you up and dropping you off whenever needed. Special shoutout to Xiao Xiao at the front desk – she was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay, responding to all our requests immediately. The shuttle driver, Mr. Tu, also had a great service attitude. Within the park, the Red Maple Stone Forest and Zhuoya Lawn are fantastic for photos, and you can walk straight to the grassland via the forest trail without any queues. The serene mountain environment is so healing and relaxing, and thanks to Xiao Xiao's warm service, our entire trip was incredibly comfortable.

Guanyinqiao/ 9 Street Chongqing|2.61km from city center
This hotel is conveniently located near Guanyin Bridge, making transportation a breeze. While it's not the newest hotel, the room facilities are still quite good. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, especially Jackie and Bella, who really made us feel right at home.

People's Square Area Chongqing|0.52km from city center
The room was quite spacious, with a low table by the window and a bay window, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. It was very comfortable. The bedding was also very comfortable, with soft duvets, though I did spend quite a while trying to figure out the bedside lamp, haha. The bathroom and toilet were in separate spaces, with the sink outside, all three being independent, which was incredibly convenient and a huge plus! Many other hotels don't offer such a thoughtful layout. The reception isn't on the same floor as the guest rooms, and there's a dedicated lounge area where you can work, read, or watch shows. The room's soundproofing was good; I didn't even hear the heavy rainstorm outside last night. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us two bottles of water for our journey when we checked out, which was a very thoughtful touch. You can also store your luggage at the front desk. The hotel is situated in a tranquil area surrounded by schools, museums, and memorials, making for a beautiful environment. It's accessible from two subway stations, and there's a police car on duty right downstairs, as well as security guards, so it feels very safe. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chongqing, especially with many historical 'red' attractions nearby, perfect for a leisurely stroll.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property.  Everyone was so nice and kind.  The service was top- notch.  The amenities were plenty and easy accessible.   A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet.  The view was so beautiful and calming as well.   Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.     I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see.   When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see.   It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions.  I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing,  SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views.  Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions.  Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.    If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience.

Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong Chongqing|2.35km from city center
The location is excellent, not too far from Linjiangmen metro station, and within walking distance of many popular attractions including Hongyadong. The staff were polite, friendly, and provided great service. They used a translation device to explain important information which was very helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to a higher floor. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The air conditioning was individually controlled, so I could adjust the temperature to my liking. It worked perfectly and kept the room nice and cool which was especially appreciated during the hot summer. Breakfast is served as a la carte not a buffet. You can choose one main dish from the menu, all of which are different varieties of Chongqing noodles. Breakfast is served at the restaurant on the first floor next to the lobby which is also open to the public, and you don't have to eat it only in the morning, you can enjoy your meal anytime during the restaurant's opening hours. The hotel also has a rooftop on 15th floor where you can relax or enjoy the view. At checkout, the hotel staff gave me a souvenir snack which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and was very impressed. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I visit Chongqing in the future! The only downside is that there is only one elevator, so you may have to wait occasionally. However, the wait was never too long, so it wasn't a major issue. If you're staying on the lower floors, taking the stairs is often quicker.

My stay here was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. The room was clean and tidy, and the comfortable bedding ensured I had a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and very attentive. They even held onto a package for me that arrived five days early, keeping it safe and sound. All in all, I felt right at home. I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance, highly recommended!

Traveling with my family, two adults and two children, the front desk manager was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded our twin room to a family room. The room was clean with two large panoramic windows offering lovely views. The 16th-floor breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. I especially loved the two automatic coffee machines that made both espresso and Americanos. I had two espressos every morning! The espresso from the inner machine, which used 65g of coffee, tasted better than the one from the outer machine, which used 80g. A big thanks to the front desk manager for giving us extra breakfast vouchers. The Chongqing noodles at breakfast were also delicious. The hotel's location is convenient; Exit 4 of Chaotianmen Metro Station has an escalator, making it better than Exit 6, which is closer but has no escalator. Raffles City shopping mall and the famous Hongyadong scenic spot are also nearby. This hotel is highly recommended!

I just checked out today, so I wanted to share my honest experience. First off, the hotel is right next to the Jiefangbei CBD in the city center. The sign is very prominent and easy to find. 👍 Second, I booked a room with a four-piece bedding set, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and even gave me a disposable set, which made me feel very comfortable and safe during my stay. [Rose] Room: The overall style of the room has a slight light luxury retro vibe, very characteristic of Chongqing. The lighting in the room is a warm yellow, not at all harsh. The bedding was clean and tidy. 🚽 This hotel also has a wet/dry separation design, with the washroom, shower, and toilet all separate. 🌟 What's quite special about this hotel is that the guest room floors are carpeted. Personally, I found it very quiet and had a great night's sleep. The hotel's facilities are also quite comprehensive, with a laundry room that includes a dryer and an ironing machine, and a 24-hour gym. For just over a hundred yuan, it feels like incredible value for money. I look forward to staying here again next time I visit Chongqing!!!
