This is an old hotel, but it's very well-maintained, and the quality is still top-notch! I stayed here once about 10 years ago and hadn't been back since. This hotel used to be quite the place back then! I'm delighted to have had the chance to stay again. Both the facilities and service are excellent, and the location is super convenient. First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from Jiefangbei and about ten minutes to Shibati. There are also some famous local hotpot places nearby. You could say that to your left are towering skyscrapers, and to your right is the vibrant local life. The room size is quite generous, the bedding is comfortable, and the style is a bit like a budget hotel – quite simple. What I found really inconvenient was the layout and flow of the room; it felt a bit illogical...

The location is excellent, as the hotel is situated right above Raffles City Mall in Chongqing. It is very convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around the city. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. It even comes with a washing machine and washing powder, which was a big plus for a longer stay. One unique highlight is the drone show on Saturdays. You can head to the Level 1 outdoor platform to watch it. The platform is spacious and feels quite private for hotel guests, so you don’t have to squeeze with the large crowds at the public viewing areas. Just note that the view is reversed because the show faces the opposite side of the river, but it is still a fun experience. The hotel also provides free supper every night, which is a nice touch and adds extra value to the stay. Service was excellent throughout. The staff were very friendly, especially the security guard at the lower ground floor. There is a tall, middle-aged gentleman who is always smiling and extremely helpful. He assisted us in communicating with our Didi driver and even helped carry our luggage to the car when we left, which made a great impression. Overall, a highly recommended stay for anyone visiting Chongqing.

We were really happy with our hotel choice this time. First, the location is fantastic, right on top of Starlight 68, which made getting around incredibly easy. There are so many great places to eat and things to do nearby. Second, the hotel service was exceptional, especially the front desk staff, Xiao Tan, who was super, super enthusiastic and very responsive – we were extremely pleased! Also, Auntie Yang from housekeeping was incredibly warm and thoughtful. She made sure we had plenty of water every day and gave us lots of helpful travel tips, even suggesting we drink yogurt to avoid an upset stomach. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. The location truly can't be beaten; there are all sorts of coffee and tea shops downstairs, and we could just pop down to Cai Lan for brunch. Shopping at the mall was completely stress-free. The mall is literally downstairs, and behind the hotel is a whole street of coffee and tea places. The pool and gym facilities were excellent, and the whole family was satisfied. My husband even said we have to stay here again next time we visit Chongqing!

The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel's location is excellent, very close to the commercial area. There's a 'food street' right downstairs, making it super convenient to get anywhere. I've stayed here several times now; it's affordable and the experience is always fantastic.

I had a really great stay at Asiam International Hotel in Hongyadong, Jiefangbei. Everything was consistently clean, from the room to the common areas, which made it easy to relax right away after long days out. The location is honestly one of the best parts—super convenient and right in the middle of everything, so getting around and exploring Chongqing was effortless. Whether it was food, shopping, or sightseeing, everything felt close by. Service was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were polite, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever I needed anything. It made a noticeable difference in the overall experience. Amenities were also solid—everything I needed was there and worked well, no issues at all. Overall, I’m really thankful for the experience. It was smooth, comfortable, and exactly what I needed for this trip. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel location is excellent, right in the centre of everything and within walking distance of tourist attractions, shopping centres, food options, and pharmacies. You don’t have to worry about getting stuck or not finding what you need. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides a simple local breakfast, which is nice. However, I do hope they will consider adding coffee to the breakfast options. While coffee may not be very common in China, I think it would be a great addition for an international city like Chongqing. That said, the hotel could improve on cleanliness. The remote control in our room was covered in sticky stains, and the hairdryer was also dusty.

Pretty good. A bit old but offers good value for money compared to similar-priced options. This business trip stay at your hotel was a prime example of an excellent experience for business travelers. The hotel's location is superb, right next to the subway station and the central business district. This made getting to client offices or using public transport extremely convenient, saving a lot of commute time for my tight schedule. The front desk staff were professional and efficient; from check-in to luggage assistance, the whole process took less than five minutes. They even proactively asked if I needed a late check-out, showing thoughtful consideration for business people's needs.
