This is a well-established Hilton hotel in Chongqing with a super convenient location right next to a metro station, making getting around a breeze. The room was clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff, Xiao Huang and Xiao Cheng, were incredibly warm and efficient; they even helped with an upgrade. We had a very satisfying stay! It was a great check-in experience. I'd definitely recommend this hotel; even though it's an older property, you can tell they do regular maintenance.

As a long-standing five-star hotel, although the facilities and equipment are a bit dated, the quality is still there. The location is superb, making it very convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Shibati. We booked a family room, which was very spacious. The biggest highlight was the dining hours from 7:30 to 13:30, which was very satisfying. The staff were also very friendly. The young man at the pizza stall was particularly enthusiastic and proactively asked the children if they wanted durian pizza (P.S. the durian-flavored pizza was really good). Suggestion for improvement: Could there be two more bottles of mineral water in the room? One bottle per person feels a bit insufficient.

I booked this room for my family, and I didn't even call the hotel to arrange anything this time! This trip to the mountain city was destined to be extraordinary! I absolutely have to give this hidden gem of a hotel a glowing review. My two elderly family members were staying there, and the front desk attendant arranged a lower-floor room and complimentary breakfast for them. She also called to ask if they needed any assistance, and was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous. The hotel is right next to Jiefangbei's snack street, so stepping out means you're in a bustling commercial area with popular street food and shopping malls. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hongya Cave and the Yangtze River Cableway. The hotel service is absolutely superb, and it's so convenient to enjoy the night view from the room! What was even more surprising is that, despite being in a busy area, the room was completely quiet; the soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast spread was also very rich, offering both Chinese and Western options. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Thank you, Mercure!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, surrounded by August 1st Square, Metropolitan Square, Times Square, and Chongqing Department Store, making shopping very convenient. The pedestrian street has many street food vendors and is bustling with tourists, and some hotel rooms offer views of Jiefangbei. Xiaoshizi Metro Station (Line 6) and Linjiangmen Metro Station (Line 2) are both about 400 meters from the hotel, providing easy access to transportation. The hotel opened in 2019, has complete facilities, and the hygiene and service are decent. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options. However, the prices at the hotel's Chinese restaurant are quite high. We found that ordering at the nearby Four Points was more reasonably priced, and their Cantonese dishes were not spicy, served quickly, and very delicious.

We arrived at the hotel and received a wonderfully warm welcome from Mr. Allen Fung. He even added me on WeChat for easy communication, which was a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, when I entered the room, the light tube flickered in an unsettling way. Mr. Fung immediately sought out a technician to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, they were unable to fix it. In a gesture of genuine concern, he upgraded our room, which we truly appreciated. What stood out to me even more was how Mr. Fung personally helped us move our luggage to the new room. For families with kids visiting Chongqing, the Westin Hotel is a must-stay, offering unparalleled views of Chongqing's night skyline. During the autumn break, I traveled with my child and even brought our dog 🐶. After contemplating between four five-star hotels in the Jiefangbei business district, I ultimately chose the Westin based on our travel needs. This five-star hotel did not disappoint. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful, and the customer service小姐姐 (a polite term for a female staff member) was exceptionally attentive during our two-night stay. The lobby features a unique wall adorned with framed Hermès scarves. From the comfort of your bed, you can gaze at the Jialing River, and the executive lounge is available for guests from 8:00 to 22:30. Even if you're not staying overnight, you can still enjoy Chongqing's night views from up high for free! Be sure to visit the Westin's 54th floor for a spectacular view 🌃. The infinity pool is open to the public free of charge, so you can access the 54th floor even without a reservation. You'll need to transfer elevators from the 51st-floor lobby 🛗. If you're a guest, you can also access the 52nd-floor executive lounge. The night view is truly magnificent, with the buildings opposite displaying a rotating 'Hello Chongqing' message, perfect for photos [golden potato R][golden potato R]. Highly, highly recommended! The only minor downside is that sanitary pads provided by the hotel are not complimentary; they come with a charge. It would be a thoughtful gesture if single pads could be offered free of charge for female guests. We chose this hotel out of the many hotels in Chongqing, and we have no regrets staying here. The distance from the train station is about 40 minutes by Didi. To enter the hotel lobby, if you have a lot of luggage it's no problem—there’s a path that goes around so you don’t have to go up the stairs. Upon entering the lobby, there are several receptionists, and you should go to the one on the left. The check-in process was fast, and we were able to go straight to our room. The room looked exactly like the photos. It came with a washing machine, oven, microwave, stove, sink, sofa, and bathtub. However, we didn’t use all the facilities—especially the bathtub, which seemed like it hadn’t been used for a long time, because when we tried to use it, the water came out a bit dirty. The toilet was complete with a bidet, and the shower was excellent, with additional side sprays that were great for massaging the back and shoulders. There was also a dryer for socks and underwear. The room had two double beds—one outside next to the sofa and one inside the bedroom. The receptionists were very quick in responding to our concerns, and we were very satisfied with their service. The breakfast selection was also very diverse, and everything tasted delicious. The location is very strategic, not far from Jiefangbei—just one block from the hotel. There are many local restaurants nearby, including noodle shops and hotpot places, and Shibati is also only about a 10-minute walk away. We regret staying only 3 nights here—we wanted to stay longer because of how comfortable the hotel was. On our last day when we checked out, there was a male staff member with an earring on his left ear (I forgot to ask his name) who helped carry our luggage into the Didi and assisted with communicating with the driver through our app. Thank you so much for the excellent service, and Asiam Hotel is truly the best choice for first-time tourists visiting Chongqing.

This hotel was in a very prime location. Very close to Hong Ya Dong. Just minutes walk to Dai Jia Xiang, which is where a lot of the hidden hotpot, tea house and local restaurants. The best point of this hotel is their roof top unblocked city view. The city view very their roof top is terrifically amazing!!! As a shopaholic, we bought a lot of Taobao parcel and the hotel ready a counter behind to collect all the parcels and the staff will find them out for us. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. Also, one meal for free per day and valid till 8pm. So if u missed your breakfast, you still can have it anytime till 8pm!

Mist Capital The hotel boasts an excellent location right on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. You can easily catch a taxi right outside 🚗, and there's convenient access to Metro Line 1 and Line 6. Line 2, which takes you to Liziba, is also nearby. Most attractions in the vicinity are within walking distance 🚶. I had originally booked the Bian Fashion, but the friendly little housekeeper kindly offered a free upgrade. Plus, you can store your luggage 🧳 after checking out 🛅. Thumbs up! 😊

My friends who've been to Chongqing recommended Xinsan, and I booked it because I was worried my parents wouldn't be used to staying away from home. Also, based on the description, there's a fridge, which is essential for my mom's insulin. Xinsan's location is excellent, right in Jiefangbei. My parents, being older, don't like spending money on taxis, and if the hotel were far from the attractions, they'd spend half the day traveling. So Xinsan was a perfect fit, and I booked it immediately after checking it out. This was their first trip without me, so I was a bit worried. The front desk staff at Xinsan were absolutely wonderful and took great care of them. My mom sheepishly mentioned at the front desk that the items in the room were too smart for her to figure out. The front desk staff immediately sent over detailed instructions and video tutorials for the washing machine, microwave, TV, and air conditioning. They even went to the room and demonstrated how to use each item for my parents. It was incredibly thoughtful. Hotels are getting more advanced these days, and many things are different from what we have at home. The front desk patiently explained everything to us, which was truly heartwarming, and they didn't seem bothered at all! The room's facilities are all high-tech, from premium brands. Even the toilet doesn't require manual flushing; it has a remote control, which is very hygienic! I also noticed that Xinsan has two-bedroom, three-bed units. We'll definitely be back next time.
