The breakfast selection was quite diverse and totally exceeded my expectations; it felt like incredible value for money. Besides the usual Chinese and Western options, I highly recommend the freshly made noodles – they were delicious, and you can customize the spice level yourself. Overall, the experience was great. Location: Situated inside Chongqing's landmark 'Grand Sail' building, directly above Raffles City and with direct metro access. Within walking distance to Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the pier. There are three hotels in the 'Sail' building: InterContinental Raffles City, Hotel Indigo, and Ascott. Ascott is wholly owned by CapitaLand, the developer of Raffles City, so its quality is undoubtedly top-notch. Facilities: Positioned as a serviced apartment, the public areas are compact yet comfortable and practical. The lobby offers complimentary tea and fresh flowers. A significant portion of the public space is dedicated to guests. The gym is well-equipped with at least two treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as a full set of resistance machines. There's also a yoga room with river views, comparable to a small commercial gym. It provides hot/cold water, sanitizing wipes, towels, and even headphones with sterilized covers. The swimming pool was closed during our two-day stay, so we hope to check it out next time. Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused. The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space. Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both. Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful. All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

The front desk staff were great, and the hotel offers excellent value for money. The location is really good, the room is nice, and it's very clean. I'd definitely recommend it. I've been to Chongqing many times, but this was my first stay at a Kempinski. I'd seen on Trip.com that the hotel opened in 2012, so I assumed the facilities and decor might be a bit outdated. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite being open for 14 years, this Kempinski is still exceptionally well-maintained. The original construction materials and furnishings were clearly high-quality, luxury items, so overall, aside from the slightly older design and decor style, everything else was unexpectedly good. This includes the dining options – whether it was Elements Western Restaurant, the Beer Bar, or the Executive Lounge, the food quality was impressive. The desserts and bread, in particular, truly showcased the essence of German culinary excellence. Of course, as a boutique hotel under the GHA DISCOVERY alliance, what truly impressed me most was the service. From the welcoming attitude of the staff to the efficiency of the management team in resolving issues, it truly lives up to Kempinski's reputation as a European hotel aristocrat. Special thanks to the hotel management and operations teams for their meticulous care and excellent service during my stay. Employees like Wilson, the Director of Rooms, Paul, the Guest Services Manager, and Lucy, the Executive Lounge intern, all deserve special recognition!

This hotel is located right across from Bayi Square and is also close to the subway. Stepping out, you're on Bayi Road Food Street, where you can find all sorts of local specialty snacks. The staff were very warm and attentive. When we arrived, they immediately offered us refreshing lemon and plum juice from the hotel's self-service, which was incredibly crisp and tasty. Housekeeping was prompt; they even helped us with laundry while we were out exploring. Food delivery riders can bring orders directly to your room. Honestly, if it's not too hot, a short walk will get you to a ton of great food options. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from here, and to get to Liziba, you can take Line 2. Across the street from the hotel, you get a great mountain view, and you can even spot the Golden Eagle. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves food and exploring!

The location is good, but the air conditioning fan was so loud I couldn't sleep. Or, if I used the 'energy-saving mode' as staff suggested, it was unbearably hot. What's ridiculous is that in the morning, the hallways and restaurant were blasting cold air that felt like 28°C (82°F). The front desk staff were polite, but the issues were never resolved. Ordering takeout was convenient, but there were no robots or staff to deliver it to the room. It's definitely not worth the price. When checking out, they showed no interest in my experience and didn't even ask for feedback. It feels like the hotel just wants to grab whatever money they can, without caring about reputation or repeat customers. I'd recommend looking for other hotels nearby.

Stepping into the Grand Hyatt Chongqing again felt like time folding back into a familiar embrace. The warm glow of the lobby was like the gaze of an old friend, gently welcoming my travel-weary self. Ryan at the front desk smiled as warmly as ever, Tiffany's greeting was still as gentle, and Bella's eyes held that knowing spark – they are my compass in this city, a direction I can find without a map. Goldberg at the Club Lounge had already prepared a delightful surprise. Birthday balloons floated gently, like clouds in a dream. The guest room door slowly opened to warm yellow light, a neatly arranged birthday cake, and a handwritten card – every detail whispered: 'Welcome home.' I didn't need candles on a cake because the warmth and thoughtfulness from these people were light enough. Thank you for weaving an ordinary birthday into a shining chapter of memories with your professionalism and kindness. Grand Hyatt Chongqing isn't just a hotel; it's my second home in this city. And I've never really left.

Choosing the Westin Chongqing Jiefangbei for my trip was absolutely the best decision! I have to give it a huge five-star rating! First off, the location is unbeatable. The hotel is right in the heart of the Jiefangbei central business district. It's just a few minutes' walk downstairs to Jiefangbei Monument and Bayi Delicious Street, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. The nearby subway station also makes getting to various attractions incredibly easy. Then there's the service, which was truly exceptional! The day before check-in, a staff member from the hotel's guest experience department proactively called me and then added me on WeChat. They sent detailed check-in instructions and various practical tips in advance, which made me feel completely at ease even before arriving. During my stay, any questions I had on WeChat were answered promptly, with a very quick response time. From the front desk to housekeeping, every employee was warm, attentive, professional, and efficient, truly making me feel at home! The breakfast was another major highlight! The variety was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western delicacies, plus authentic local specialties like Chongqing noodles and spicy wontons. Every morning, I had a super satisfying meal! Finally, the room was spotless and tidy, with extremely high hygiene standards. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the Westin's 'Heavenly Bed' was truly amazing to sleep on – I had a wonderful night's rest! In summary, this stay was perfect, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chongqing. I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Chongqing!

Overall, the hotel is decent, but there's room for improvement in the details. Upon arrival, someone opened the car door and helped with luggage, which was great. Check-in was also very quick. However, the room had a few issues. First, the hairdryer was a bit faulty; it was plugged in but wouldn't work. I had to call someone to replace it. Second, the water pressure in the shower was too low; it could definitely be stronger. The hotel breakfast also had some problems. When I went for breakfast, someone seated me, and then a staff member asked if I wanted a drink. I requested an iced latte, and she said 'okay.' However, after more than twenty minutes, no latte arrived. Eventually, I went to the coffee machine myself and asked a staff member to make one for me. Also, I think the breakfast tables could have fewer unnecessary decorations and a better arrangement. There was an upright book on the table, and only after I picked it up did I realize there was a small potted plant behind it. I wondered if the plant might get knocked over if someone wasn't careful when grabbing the book… On the other hand, the butler service was quite good. Butler Yannie was very responsive to all requests, answered quickly, and was basically online all day. She even replied to my messages past 1 AM! Most importantly, her replies were timely and enthusiastic. I also want to thank her for sending a complimentary bottle of red wine, even though I forgot to drink it, haha… When I discussed extending my stay on the second night, she thoughtfully explained the process and answered all my questions, which I really appreciate 👍. The hotel room view was quite good, and the decor was also decent. The hotel's public areas are especially beautiful and perfect for photos. A special thanks to the front desk for upgrading me! I ended up in a river-view room, and the scenery outside the window was excellent.

Five-star rating across the board for Huabang Hotel! The environment, amenities, and transportation are all excellent. What really made our stay was the front desk staff, particularly Xiao Liu. She was incredibly warm and generous, demonstrating exceptional professionalism. The check-in, check-out, and room change processes were all highly efficient and seamless. She patiently explained everything about local attractions, dining, entertainment, and transportation, and was always quick to respond to all our requests, big or small. Her thoughtful and high-quality service truly makes this the top choice for accommodation in Fairy Mountain.

Although the hotel is a bit dated, the basic facilities are well-maintained, and the service was excellent. They even upgraded me to a river-view room, and the rooftop offers a fantastic panoramic view of the city at night! My only complaint is the hairdryer – it's incredibly old, like something from the 80s. You have to constantly hold the button down to get air, and it's so hot it almost burns your scalp. I called reception, and they said there were no other hairdryers available to swap it out. Seriously, how can a hotel still have a hairdryer like this in this day and age? After blow-drying my hair, I was sweating all over again. Don't they think about updating these kinds of amenities?

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Everyone was so nice and kind. The service was top- notch. The amenities were plenty and easy accessible. A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet. The view was so beautiful and calming as well. Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed. I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see. When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see. It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions. I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing, SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views. Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions. Your days will be filled with fun and adventure. If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience.

The hotel room was clean and well stocked. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy; staff member 3 helped us both times and we could communate with her easily. We also received informative brochure with key sights nearby which was helpful. The breakfast had limited Western cuisine, so this might be an issue for visitors who don't like Chinese style breakfast. The breakfast was quick and tasty although we would have liked a few more options. Really loved the view from our hotel room on L14 as well as from the L15 in the allocated rooftop view which was lovely. The hotel location was convenient and easy to get to various key locations - although recommend travelling across the river to Grand Theater subway for a view of Hongya Cave and then walk back via the bridge crossing and bypass the view from directly in front at street level (too many people!). Great hotel overall, would recommend!

I just checked out today, so I wanted to share my honest experience. First off, the hotel is right next to the Jiefangbei CBD in the city center. The sign is very prominent and easy to find. 👍 Second, I booked a room with a four-piece bedding set, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and even gave me a disposable set, which made me feel very comfortable and safe during my stay. [Rose] Room: The overall style of the room has a slight light luxury retro vibe, very characteristic of Chongqing. The lighting in the room is a warm yellow, not at all harsh. The bedding was clean and tidy. 🚽 This hotel also has a wet/dry separation design, with the washroom, shower, and toilet all separate. 🌟 What's quite special about this hotel is that the guest room floors are carpeted. Personally, I found it very quiet and had a great night's sleep. The hotel's facilities are also quite comprehensive, with a laundry room that includes a dryer and an ironing machine, and a 24-hour gym. For just over a hundred yuan, it feels like incredible value for money. I look forward to staying here again next time I visit Chongqing!!!
