This is a well-established Hilton hotel in Chongqing with a super convenient location right next to a metro station, making getting around a breeze. The room was clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff, Xiao Huang and Xiao Cheng, were incredibly warm and efficient; they even helped with an upgrade. We had a very satisfying stay! It was a great check-in experience. I'd definitely recommend this hotel; even though it's an older property, you can tell they do regular maintenance.

Great location, many famous eateries are within walking distance. Although it's an old five-star hotel, the decor is dated, and the room had a damp, musty smell. Before arriving, I specifically called to ask if they had Dyson hair dryers, and customer service confirmed they did. However, upon arrival, it wasn't a Dyson. When I asked the front desk to change it, they said only suites had Dyson dryers, but they did eventually switch it for me. Also, for such a well-known hotel, there are no delivery robots, so I had to go downstairs myself to pick up takeout orders, which is quite inconvenient.

This is our second time staying here. Last time we visited Chongqing, we really liked the hotel's location. This time, we booked a two-bedroom deluxe apartment suite, and the layout was excellent, perfect for a family trip. It's a high-floor river view room, very clean and hygienic. The breakfast is also plentiful, and they even offer a 'goodnight porridge' in the evening, which is great for older guests. Highly recommend!

Nanping Chongqing|3.26km from city center
Traveling solo to Chongqing, I once again chose the chain luxury hotel, Kempinski. During check-in, I mentioned to the front desk that I hoped to have a view of the Mountain City. The front desk kindly arranged a high-floor room for me with mountain views and a glimpse of the river. Although the decor is a bit dated, it still maintains a five-star standard, and the price is reasonable. I particularly want to praise the hotel's mattress and pillows; they're quite similar to Westin's Heavenly Bed, ensuring a great night's sleep that leaves you refreshed for the next day. The hotel is located in Nan'an, which isn't as overly commercialized as Yuzhong District. Plus, there are many excellent hotpot restaurants right next to the hotel. Getting around by taxi is easy, and thankfully, taxi fares in Chongqing are quite reasonable. The turndown service was very thoughtful; they even specially filled the ice bucket with ice. My only minor gripe is that, aside from the complimentary bottled water, everything else in the room comes with a price tag, giving the impression that the room itself is a showroom for sale.

Amenities: The room featured Chinese-style furniture with ample space, and the bathroom was quite large. Cleanliness: Very clean, with hand soap and hand cream provided. Environment: Located at the entrance of Jiefangbei, it's a 200-meter walk to Jiefangbei itself. There's also a department store and a Yonghui supermarket nearby where you can buy local specialties. Taxis are easily accessible right outside. From here, you can take Line 2 directly to the zoo, and you'll even pass through Liziba Station, which is a very interesting experience. Service: The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was incredibly enthusiastic. We were traveling with a child, and she proactively offered an extra quilt and even brought us fruit. The nearby hot pot restaurant she recommended was delicious, and she was always ready to answer any questions. This was the most welcoming Mercure hotel we've ever stayed at.

This hotel is perfectly located in Jiefangbei, within walking distance to Hongya Cave and the cable car. We received a friendly room upgrade to a guest room with stunning river views. The hygiene and soundproofing were excellent. At the Executive Lounge, the freshly prepared noodles and 'hao'er yu' (a local fish dish) are a must-try, and breakfast offers a great variety. However, I'd recommend avoiding the Chinese restaurant. Lizhimmen Station (light rail) is only 360 meters away, but beware of heavy traffic during peak hours if you plan to take a taxi. The Napoleon dessert sells out fast, so grab it early! This is the top choice for anyone prioritizing location!

Having seen that it opened in 2011, I initially worried the hotel might be dated and hesitated for a while. However, my friend and I eventually decided to book the Sheraton Chongqing, eager to experience its grand, European-style charm. I must say, the hotel is exceptionally well-maintained; no area looks old or worn. The first impression is its sheer grandeur – the lobby must be over ten meters high! I stay in at least twenty hotels a year, and it's rare to find such an impressive lobby in newly opened hotels these days. My room seemed newly renovated, very fresh and spotless. And the night view from the window is truly a showstopper! If you're coming for Chongqing's famous night scenery, you can simply lie in bed and enjoy it all without even needing to go to the riverside. The breakfast truly lives up to five-star expectations. A special shout-out to the handmade *baozi* (steamed buns) prepared by the hotel staff – they were incredibly delicious! Finally, I'd like to commend the service. The hotel management is clearly top-notch, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and enthusiastic. The front desk staff were particularly thoughtful, even proactively arranging an extra pair of slippers and a toothbrush in our room before we checked in. Many thanks for such excellent service! 🙏🙏

Charon's service was excellent, and the housekeepers were all very friendly. The lobby is on the third floor, with bellboys who helped carry our luggage. They gave us a luggage tag to take to the 51st floor for check-in. After confirming the room number with the front desk, they delivered our luggage directly to the room. We had a lot of bags, so this saved us a lot of effort! The hotel is very high up, truly living up to its reputation as the highest point in Jiefangbei. The night views are absolutely stunning. Niccolo Chongqing: Pinnacle of Luxury Above the Clouds My trip to Chongqing truly peaked thanks to the Niccolo! Tucked away at the very top of IFS, this hotel genuinely redefines ”luxury above the clouds. The room's 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows are absolutely breathtaking, offering panoramic views of the Two Rivers and Three Shores. At night, as the city lights up, you can lie in bed and soak in the dazzling cityscape of Chongqing—an unforgettable experience. The lounge on the 62nd floor is another hidden gem for views; sipping a specially crafted cocktail while gazing at the river makes the city's hustle and bustle simply melt away into the background. But the true highlight of this experience was undoubtedly the service from our butler, Delancy. From adding us on WeChat to confirm our needs before check-in, to her incredibly prompt responses whenever we had a request—yet never being intrusive—her perfectly balanced attentiveness added a warm touch to the luxurious stay. The location is also unbeatable. It's incredibly convenient to walk to IFS for shopping, and a taxi ride to Hongyadong or Jiefangbei takes no more than twenty minutes. From the facilities to the service, there wasn't a single flaw. Next time I'm in Chongqing, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I especially look forward to seeing Delancy!

We arrived at the hotel and received a wonderfully warm welcome from Mr. Allen Fung. He even added me on WeChat for easy communication, which was a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, when I entered the room, the light tube flickered in an unsettling way. Mr. Fung immediately sought out a technician to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, they were unable to fix it. In a gesture of genuine concern, he upgraded our room, which we truly appreciated. What stood out to me even more was how Mr. Fung personally helped us move our luggage to the new room. He consistently checked in on us throughout our stay until we checked out, making sure we were comfortable. This level of attentiveness and care made our experience memorable, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel services I've encountered during my travels. Arriving in Chongqing from Shijiazhuang, our subsequent stay during this trip was at the Regent Hotel. Let me just say upfront, this review of the Regent reflects the genuine experience of my family and me. The hotel's facilities are exceptionally comprehensive, and they truly think of everything for their guests. Even hair curlers are available, and they can provide retainer cases and contact lens care supplies. We hadn't brought contact lenses due to travel inconvenience, nor had I brought my retainer, but honestly, staying at the Regent, you truly don't need to worry about such small details. Speaking of facilities, the hotel offers a swimming pool, a bar, Chinese and Western restaurants, kids' DIY activities, and much more. Despite being a nine-year-old hotel, it is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The overall ambiance and design are very stylish and perfectly complement Chongqing's local culture and charm, with excellent attention to detail. But above all, it was the service that truly stood out and was the primary reason I chose the Regent. I experienced the hotel's exceptional service two days before check-in, when they proactively inquired about our room preferences and requirements, even offering a choice of pillows. Upon arrival at the hotel, a dedicated staff member was there to open the car door, and our luggage was promptly taken care of by another staff member. During check-in, we were even presented with thoughtful and exquisite children's gift sets. While waiting in the lounge, a warm and welcoming staff member offered us drinks. After a brief respite, we entered our room to find it meticulously prepared for us, including the arrangement of latex and buckwheat pillows. The mattress was a KingKoil, and while the sleeping experience, though excellent, was perhaps a tad less perfect than our premium mattress at home, it was still very good. The toilet was a TOTO with a Washlet, and as someone who's had experience with TOTO products, I was thoroughly impressed. The staff members were all very enthusiastic and patiently answered and handled any questions or requests. Daily housekeeping and turndown service were provided, ensuring the room was spotless, tidy, and created a wonderfully inviting ambiance. Thoughtful touches like glasses cleaning cloths, weather cards, cable ties, premium bath amenities, and even handling of laundry were all impeccable. The staff at the DIY area, swimming pool, Two Rivers Bar, and dining areas were all exceptionally good. My son was right at the 1.2-meter height threshold, yet they didn't charge for his meals. The hotel gifted us Chongqing noodles as a souvenir, and we were even allowed to keep the room key cards as a memento. They also gave us dessert vouchers, and we received beautifully packed desserts to enjoy on our journey home. My sincere gratitude once again to every single staff member. Well, I'll stop here; there are simply too many thoughtful details to list them all. This hotel truly sets a benchmark that many others should aspire to!

Fairy Mountain National Forest Park/Fairy Mountain Town Chongqing|116.09km from city center
Fairy Mountain's reputation for coolness lives up to its reputation. The moment we stepped foot into the scenic area, the heat melted away. It was so comfortable! Our hotel, located right in the scenic area, had a perfect location, just steps from the prairie. In the morning, I could just open the window and catch a glimpse of the lush greenery, making it a convenient spot for an evening stroll. Xiao Xiao, the front desk lady, was particularly memorable. During check-in, she had a sweet smile and spoke softly. She proactively explained the scenic area's itineraries and precautions. She was incredibly attentive and considerate. When an elderly person fell, Front Desk Manager Wei promptly delivered medicine. The hotel was incredibly considerate and attentive, always offering regards and support. The room was also very pleasant and clean, with impeccable cleanliness, shiny floors, and lightly scented sheets and duvet covers. The amenities were also comprehensive, including a kettle, hairdryer, and all the essentials, and even neatly arranged toiletries. The front desk manager was incredibly responsive and helpful. This was a wonderful stay, and I'll definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Fairy Mountain again!

This stay was absolutely fantastic, I have to give it a five-star review! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we felt a warm, home-like atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and smiled genuinely, making check-in swift and efficient. They even thoughtfully introduced us to the hotel's facilities and recommended nearby dining options. The room exceeded our expectations! It was clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding that instantly made us feel relaxed. The attention to detail was excellent, from the high-speed Wi-Fi and smart curtains to the separated wet and dry areas in the bathroom, all of which significantly enhanced our comfort. We slept wonderfully, the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring we weren't disturbed at all. The hotel's location is also superb, making it very convenient for both getting around and shopping. This stay completely surpassed our expectations. The next time we visit this city, we will definitely choose this hotel again without hesitation! I highly recommend it to all my friends!

Wonderful stay at this hotel! The front desk upgraded our room upon arrival. The hotel room and view was stunning. The hotel was very responsive on WeChat for any services that we needed. Only complaint would be the room was cold, we tried turning up the heat and needed to ask for another sleeping blanket. Btw it’s off peak travel season and winter time right now.

The hotel is excellently located two blocks from subway line 2, meters from the plaza with 22 floors of elevation gain, very close to the pedestrian area, the Art Museum, Hongya Cave, and the rivers. Plenty of places to eat. The room was comfortable. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast included noodles, wontons, and eggs. No coffee or tea. While plentiful and delicious, it can get monotonous if you stay for several days. The lack of tea was disappointing. The hotel has laundry room and a terrace with beautiful views.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and very willing to assist us with any questions we had. They were also quick to resolve an issue we had with the Wi-Fi. 👍 The housekeeping auntie was very kind and always had a smile on her face, which brightened our day. The only downside was that the room lighting was a bit dim, and there was no luggage rack. As someone with bad knees, it was really difficult for me to bend down and stand up repeatedly to access my suitcase on the floor. It was quite a struggle. I hope the hotel can consider providing special amenities for older guests with physical limitations; that would be a very thoughtful touch!

My friends who've been to Chongqing recommended Xinsan, and I booked it because I was worried my parents wouldn't be used to staying away from home. Also, based on the description, there's a fridge, which is essential for my mom's insulin. Xinsan's location is excellent, right in Jiefangbei. My parents, being older, don't like spending money on taxis, and if the hotel were far from the attractions, they'd spend half the day traveling. So Xinsan was a perfect fit, and I booked it immediately after checking it out. This was their first trip without me, so I was a bit worried. The front desk staff at Xinsan were absolutely wonderful and took great care of them. My mom sheepishly mentioned at the front desk that the items in the room were too smart for her to figure out. The front desk staff immediately sent over detailed instructions and video tutorials for the washing machine, microwave, TV, and air conditioning. They even went to the room and demonstrated how to use each item for my parents. It was incredibly thoughtful. Hotels are getting more advanced these days, and many things are different from what we have at home. The front desk patiently explained everything to us, which was truly heartwarming, and they didn't seem bothered at all! The room's facilities are all high-tech, from premium brands. Even the toilet doesn't require manual flushing; it has a remote control, which is very hygienic! I also noticed that Xinsan has two-bedroom, three-bed units. We'll definitely be back next time.
