Stayed here for three days with my kid. The front desk staff was great, especially one guy who upgraded us for free to a room with an amazing view. Downstairs, there's a delicious noodle shop called 'Pang Mei Xiao Mian'. The room had a bathtub with disposable liners, which my child loved. The water pressure for showers was excellent, and we pushed the twin beds together to make a big one, which was super comfy. We also took the kid to the Mixue flagship store, visited the Three Natural Bridges and Longshuixia Gap in Wulong (definitely worth seeing, remember knee pads!), and checked out all the popular spots in Chongqing. We had a fantastic time overall!

This is definitely the hotel to stay at when visiting Chongqing. I booked a business room this time, and it was great. The staff were exceptionally good and deserve special praise. They were very patient. Seeing that I had mobility issues and liked to drink water, they kindly helped me put a liner in the bathtub and even provided laundry detergent. They were polite and courteous. Thank you! With Chinese New Year approaching, the hotel had a strong festive atmosphere. It felt comfortable and welcoming.

This apartment is spacious with plenty of space and living equipment such as kitchenette. The doorman/ concierge at hotel entrance are super helpful and great. They aren’t afraid to be approached by guests for help. But this apartment needs some sprucing up. The tiles around bathtub has stains which they feel is ok to leave as is for guests to see and bathroom clearly needs a major wash for there is a bad urine smell. Front desk staff needs some customer service training. Eg The young man who check us out on 6 Jan around 11am. He just took card and that’s it, no niceties nothing. So much for Ascott Cares. Before you talk about caring for environment and diversity, take a GOOD look at the quality of service by staff and your rooms. Just go check the apartment on level 29 .

Kempinski has been open for over a decade now. Upon checking in, I noticed that all the furnishings and facilities in the room, while perhaps excellent in their time, are now showing their age. The Sony TV, though a bit small, still has good picture quality. However, many of the room's features suffer from a lack of maintenance. Numerous buttons were slow to respond; for example, with the automatic curtains, I had to press the button many times before it would finally work. The TV remote also required multiple presses to get a reaction. The bedside lamp switch would turn the light on for a moment, then it would immediately flicker off. The mini-bar was extremely basic, offering only Nescafé instant coffee and simple tea bags, with just two bottles of mineral water. What was most bizarre was finding the mini-fridge locked, despite there being a price list for drinks in the mini-bar. After calling housekeeping, the fridge was unlocked when we returned, but it was completely empty. What are we supposed to consume then? What's the point of having a price list? The bed and pillows were both too soft; as soon as you sat on the bed, you would sink into the middle. The overall service awareness at this hotel doesn't live up to a five-star standard. Throughout my stay, aside from a cleaning lady on my floor who proactively greeted me, everyone else provided silent service, never speaking unless explicitly asked. There was supposed to be a complimentary 500ml fresh beer, but the front desk didn't mention it at check-in. When I called from my room to inquire, the person on the phone wasn't sure how to handle it at the front desk and didn't follow up on the issue. Breakfast variety was just average. I had hoped the European bread would be good, but there was only baguette and toast, and other dishes were also quite ordinary. The only thing that left a strong impression was the freshly cooked rice noodles, which had a very well-seasoned broth, and you could add pickled vegetables yourself. There was also no salt or pepper on the dining tables; you had to ask a server for them.

The hotel's restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the guest rooms are clean and well-maintained with good soundproofing, ensuring a comfortable sleep. However, there are areas for improvement. As a high-end brand hotel, I suggest incorporating more smart technology, such as smart curtains and toilets. The mini-bar charges should be waived and offered as a complimentary guest amenity. The Nongfu Spring mineral water doesn't quite match the brand's premium image; Changbai Snow would be a more suitable choice.

I have to give a huge shout-out to Autumn at the front desk for her excellent service during my stay at the Sheraton! When I checked in, she was warm and professional, proactively asking about our needs and thoughtfully recommending the hotel's executive lounge and local attractions. We had several questions during our stay, and she answered them all patiently and efficiently. Today, during check-out, she handled everything with a smile, quickly processed our departure, and even kindly reminded us to take all our belongings. Her warm farewell as we left instantly made us feel very comforted. Autumn perfectly embodies Sheraton's high-quality service. Next time I'm in this city, I'll definitely choose this Sheraton again!

Overall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly! But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good. The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality. Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient. To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person. They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa. We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room. I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment. But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade. Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high. I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page. We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget. We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us. And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

The hotel's facilities and service were decent during my stay. The room was very spacious, with 36 square meters, which was plenty of space to move around. The double sink design was particularly convenient, so we didn't have to wait for each other to get ready. The walk-in closet was huge, with enough room for luggage and clothes, and there was also a vanity table for getting ready. However, the toothbrushes provided were a bit subpar; the toiletries could definitely use an upgrade. Parking was a bit tricky for a first-timer; I ended up on the sixth basement level and had to call to find out where to park. The underground parking lot was dark and quite old; when I first drove in, I thought I'd gone to the wrong place. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide parking information to guests after booking. The hotel bed was high-quality, soft and breathable, and I woke up feeling refreshed every morning. The WiFi in the room was a bit slow and laggy, with a poor signal, possibly because of the high floor. There were no tissues on the bedside tables or desk; I had to go to the bathroom or vanity to grab some, which was a bit odd, haha. I booked a river view room for over 1100 yuan, but unfortunately, due to heavy fog, I couldn't see the river or any view. Overall, the hotel environment was okay, but I don't think it was worth the price. Still, I'll leave a positive review. I'll probably try a different hotel next time. I didn't get to visit the 54th-floor infinity pool, so I don't know what it looks like. Maybe next time.

Five-star recommendation! Niccolo Chongqing: Heartwarming Service, Perfect Experience. My trip to Chongqing included a stay at Niccolo, and it truly delivered on both luxury quality and attentive service. Definitely a perfect score! I especially want to commend ARM NCQ and Jasmine from Housekeeping. These two duty managers proactively offered us a fruit platter and even thoughtfully brought us some snacks! The restaurant team, particularly Manager Yuan, was the icing on the cake! Dining on the 62nd floor, he expertly recommended dishes that blended local flavors, adjusted them to our dietary preferences, and arranged a window seat for us to enjoy the sunset over the river. He even surprised us with complimentary champagne and juice! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the IFS, and the sky lobby offers breathtaking night views. This experience truly impressed me with the staff's genuine sincerity. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing!

We chose Huabang in a remote area, and overall, the service was quite good. It's not brand new, but in the mountains, I think it's much better than most hotels. We had no worries about heating, and there was an electric blanket. The auntie even provided us with a fan heater because she was worried we'd be cold. Everyone here is so warm and welcoming. Xiaoxue at the front desk helped us upgrade our room type, and when I mentioned the inconvenience of carrying luggage without an elevator, she helped me take it to my room. She even added me on WeChat so I could reach her anytime for any needs or questions. Breakfast offered a good variety, and we had lunch and dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant since there are no restaurants at the scenic spots. This made me feel even more that choosing Huabang was a wise decision. I must mention that the 'Wanwan lamb' was delicious! 😋 The hotel has a shortcut with a card reader to the grassland, but there are no signs along the way. The first time, I walked a long way around and had to ask locals for directions. It would be better if guests were provided with a map in the future ❤️. The hotel's shuttle bus was also quite quick, usually arriving within a few minutes, which was very convenient. I would recommend this place to friends.

The butler was excellent; they even called me the day before check-in to ask if I had any special requests, which was great for planning ahead. After returning to the hotel from the concert, I found that the fruit in my room had already been arranged. The bedding was comfortable. I'm really very satisfied.

The ambiance is fantastic, and it offers excellent value for money. There are also plenty of great dining options nearby. The hotel boasts a spa, a well-equipped gym, and a lovely spot to enjoy night views. The rooms are meticulously decorated, spacious, and spotless. It genuinely offers incredible value. Highly, highly recommended! The only minor downside is that sanitary pads provided by the hotel are not complimentary; they come with a charge. It would be a thoughtful gesture if single pads could be offered free of charge for female guests. While I didn't personally require one, having to pay for such an essential item in an emergency situation feels like a slight oversight in guest care.

This is my go-to hotel every time I visit Chongqing. The location is super easy to find, right next to Jiefangbei. The rooms are clean and tidy, and there are tons of snack options downstairs. The front desk service is truly excellent; they upgrade my room every time I stay. The cleaning staff are also great—they do a thorough job and are very welcoming. I didn't catch her name, but her work badge said 21. I'm always very satisfied with my stay here.

The hotel's cleanliness is also impeccable; both public areas and guest rooms are spotless, and items in the room are neatly arranged, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The floor-to-ceiling window in the room was an even bigger surprise; the view is incredible, allowing you to enjoy the scenery right from your room. Hotel exceeded our expectations in every single way. Staff was polite and helpful, they even helped us to order something online and have it delivered to the hotel same day! We can't thank enough our receptionists (all of them, both first and second shift), as they were super-helpful, and answered all of our questions. Restaurant staff was awesome as well, and food was delicious. Hotel is perfectly located for travelers, as major attractions are in a walking distance (Hongyadong cave, Chonqing Art museum, Liberation monument etc.). Hotel has a viewing platform located on the 15th floor, and even though it was foggy rainy evening, we made some nice photos there. Cafe within the hotel has nice milk-tea selection and couple of coffee options as well. We were greeted with the nice tray of complimentary sweets with our first order as well, a nice touch.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is very warm and welcoming. It's near Jiefangbei, and attractions like Kuixinglou are also nearby. It's a pleasant 20-minute walk to Hongyadong. I'm so satisfied with the hotel I chose for my trip to Chongqing! It's super close to Jiefangbei, just a few minutes' walk away, and surrounded by amazing food. The room size was just right, very comfortable, and I slept soundly at night. The service was also very thoughtful; they even proactively told us where to find good hotpot. Highly recommended!

An absolutely fantastic stay! I've stayed at Orange Crystal before in Shanghai and had a great experience, so I chose the brand again. The room was very comfortable and odorless. The soundproofing at night was decent, not too noisy. The room temperature was consistently comfortable without me needing to adjust it. The bedding was clean, and both the mattress and pillows were high quality. I was a bit concerned about the facilities being old since it's a 2019 hotel, but they've been incredibly well-maintained – completely exceeding my expectations. The hotel staff were also very friendly. I asked the front desk attendant not to give us an end-of-hallway room, and she thoughtfully arranged a suitable room for us. Big thumbs up! The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the food was very fresh. The hotel's surroundings are also excellent. It's less than 100 meters from Exit 4 of Chaotianmen Metro Station, right next to Raffles City. You can walk to Huguang Guild Hall and Luohan Temple in just a few minutes, which is super convenient. This hotel will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Chongqing!
