Self-driving tourists can first send email to the hotel and then follow the information to the hotel. kind of hard. $ 30euro valet parking is also available. The hotel itself is beautiful and gorgeous, the breakfast is delicious, and there are many places to take pictures.
- Yau
Located in the center of the attraction, in an old wooden building, many tourists come to take pictures and there are many restaurants around. There is a supermarket opposite, and the room can see the cathedral

For our return journey from Italy we booked 2 nights at the Residence Inn. The serviced apartments hotel, together with its sister hotel AC Hotel by Marriott, is located in a brand new building in the booming European Quarter in Strasbourg. The Pradus underground car park is available for both houses, which gives hotel guests a discount of 5 euros per day (exchange tickets at reception) and also has an elevator to the hotel level, which is barrier-free. We chose the Residence Inn because it had a very reasonable deal including breakfast and a 20% discount at the gourmet restaurant L'Archipel. The entire house with both brands is brand new and the rooms are up to date with the latest hotel amenities. In addition to the location, the quality of the Marriott beds and the good AC hotel breakfast, which always includes an IBERICO S*****en from the slicer, were other reasons for choosing the hotel. We were able to easily go on excursions to the Alsatian wine villages by car. The European Quarter, including a visit to Parliament, can be explored on foot. Attention: For Strasbourg and Colmar, German cars have also required the Critair environmental sticker since the beginning of 2023. It can be easily ordered online and costs a processing fee of 5 euros - a violation will be significantly more expensive. For a tour into the city center, where parking is difficult and expensive, we recommend the modern tram, which takes 10 minutes from the hotel to the center. We slept very quietly and well at the Residence Inn - the soundproofing of the windows is optimal. The good breakfast takes place in buffet form for both houses on the 9th floor. The staff is young and very helpful - special requests for breakfast were even served the following day without being asked. The only point of criticism: The air conditioning in the room blows specifically on your neck and back when you sit at the desk - but it is possible to switch it off. Conclusion: A modern mid-range hotel in the European Quarter that is equally suitable for business and leisure guests. You can choose between serviced apartments or the 4-star rooms of the AC Hotel.

I was quite skeptical about choosing this property as there were no pictures taken by travellers. Instead, the choice turned out to be completely spot on. Starting from the location which is 50 meters from the Wacken tram stop and 150 meters from the European Parliament tram stop. The structure is divided into the Hotel part and the part called ”Residence Inn” which is made up of mini apartments. The reception is unified even if there are different desks for hotels and residences. The room was clean and equipped with every comfort including queen size bed, 55-inch LG Smart TV, desk, sofa with coffee table, kitchen with induction hob (two burners), microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, fridge with ice box , complete cutlery, pots and pans, Nespresso coffee machine and everything needed for cleaning. Also there was a large wardrobe with ironing board and iron, safe. The large bathroom is also equipped with every comfort even if obviously, as in all of France, there was no bidet. The furniture is very modern as the structure was recently inaugurated. Breakfast takes place on the 9th floor and is a continental buffet. In conclusion I am fully satisfied with my stay and if I have to go back to Strasbourg I will definitely choose it.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel

The hotel assisted us in processing and confirming the lost passport. The journey after me can continue. Thank you very much for the attitude of the hotel. The hotel is located in the absolute center of Paris. It is very convenient to travel in the city.

I stayed at Hotel les Haras for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. It is across the river just a few blocks from Petite France and the old town. It is a 15 mins. walk from the train station. So everything is close, but you are just outside the centre so it feels really quiet and peaceful. It is near the teaching hospital and the cave historique des hospices de strasbourg (old wine cellar) is worth popping by and is very close. There are also several excellent and affordable restaurants within steps of the hotel - less touristy than the ones near the cathedral. I chose this hotel because hotel guests have access to the spa area/pool for 1 hour daily and this was a highlight of my stay. You do have to reserve a time slot, but I would usually book it on the same day and whatever time I wanted was available. Sometimes I had the facilities to myself, and at maximum there were 3 other people there. The swimming pool is heated and beautifully designed. It is peaceful but big enough you can actually swim some laps. There is also a Finnish sauna, steam room, showers, and one of those buckets where you pull the cord and it dumps cold water on you. Then there is a relaxation area with chairs, loungers, blankets and tea. Just blissful!! If you want to stay over 1 hour, it is 25 euros but I also did not feel they were strict and timing your stay to the minute. I did not use the gym but took a peek and it is small without any mirrors, but has some basic equipment if you need (cardio machines, free weights). They let me borrow the pilates mat as I prefer to workout in my room so that I can use videos from my laptop. When I checked in, I was shocked to see my room was not cleaned and was a mess from the previous guest. I was surprised at the oversight. I would also say the woman who checked me in was not particularly warm. She just gave me my key and did not make any small talk whatsoever (e.g. asking where I came from/how the flight was etc). So my first impression was not the best. But there was a staff member in the hallway, so I told them my room was not ready and she quickly fixed the situation. At first, she said I can wait and they will clean it. But I was annoyed as I had been traveling almost 24 hours (flight to CDG then taxi to train station then train then 15 mins walk in the heat) and just wanted to rest and shower. Plus, it was after 3pm which is the designated check-in time. It's not like I arrived early. Thankfully, they found me another room and immediately took me there and were apologetic. I did not require much assistance from the concierge as I already had things planned out. I did not eat their breakfast, as I preferred to go to different cafes nearby to try their baked goods and coffee. I did enjoy sitting in the courtyard and reading. Front desk staff (a kind man, didn't get his name) were helpful when I needed to borrow a universal adapter. The room itself (the basic queen room) was near perfect. Everything you need and would expect

Lovely place, great service, really nice staff. If you want a great place to stay in Straatsburg, book here. Close to the city centre, the spa is excellent, breakfast is to die for (everything you want and even more). The room was spacious and clean.

The location of the hotel is great, shopping and viewing are super convenient, the hotel service is great, self-driving can park the car at the door, the waiter will help you park the car in the parking lot, you only need to find the waiter and he will drive you to the door , The service is in place, the parking fee is small and expensive, but I personally think it is equivalent to the service, the room is very clean and the toiletries are Hermes, praise 👍

The location of the hotel is superb. It is very convenient for shopping in the commercial street and sightseeing in the city within a two-minute walk. Hotel breakfast styles are not many but very delicate, fried eggs 🍳Boiled eggs 🥚Coffee ☕️You can ask the waiter for hot milk, but the service has nothing to say

Le Bouclier d'Or Hotel & Spa was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious and full of character. All the staff were friendly, helpful and personable. We were given recommendations for restaurants. There was also a valet service for our car as the carpark is a 20 min walk away. We will be returning!

Great Hotel! Lovely, large rooms. Close to everything in Strasburg. Has a wonderful courtyard and bar area also. Might not be important to all, but we were there with 90F/32C weather so their strong Air-conditioning was a plus. Also, we got a king sized bed which is rare in this town.

The hotel is particularly exquisite, and the room is equipped with a small net red wind, which is beautiful. There are also hot water bottles, hair dryers, and clothes hangers. The room is designed with double doors, which is safe and soundproof. The room-service of this hotel is unique. You must take the roomservice menu on the table and go downstairs to find the staff on duty at the front desk and ask them to recommend dishes to you. I ate two dinners and one breakfast in the room, and I was not disappointed [Much better than the central restaurant, and very cheap] In addition to the staple food, I also ordered wine and dessert. The two dinners totaled only 34 euros. [Central’s poor stew dinner cost me 30 euros] I heard the staff say that this is a family hotel, and the people who are in charge of managing the cooking are all family members. There are only five people. Two cleaning aunts have also worked here for more than 15 years. All the service staff have a very good service attitude. The organization atmosphere is very retro and stable. The hotel can accommodate an extra bed, I remember 10 euros per person; it is suitable for parents with children; the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and the experience is still very good; the hotel is located very close to the city center, I walked to the cathedral and the square during the day without looking at the map at night Can remember the way. Next time, for this hotel, I will bring friends to go there again and experience a delicious meal in a double room~

We had a great 4 night stay at this family run boutique hotel. Our room on the 6th floor (as requested) was most comfortable. It had a balcony which afforded us a delightful view of the sun setting over the chimney tops of Strasbourg. The breakfast, served in the dining room on the first floor, was excellent. A real highlight of our stay was the outstanding assistance we received from Diana at reception. She provided information about sights to see, the Christmas markets and made restaurant recommendations. She also took the initiative to make tentative restaurant bookings for us as it was a busy time with many tourists coming to visit the markets. The hotel is situated near a small supermarket and pharmacy and is a flat east walk to the town centre and station. Highly recommended!

The hotel's infrastructure is in a good sanitation environment and it is difficult to find a parking space in the city center. Synchronize with friends to book two rooms of the same standard and at the same price. But the two rooms are a world apart, one room is spacious and bright, and the evening room service and small gifts are available. The other room is extremely rudimentary and has no service. The most unbearable thing is that one of the rooms did not have a TV remote control. The reply I received after calling the front desk was that there was no way to solve it. A four-star hotel doesn't even have a spare TV remote control. Even if there is no spare remote control, the service staff can take one from the vacant room. The front desk staff was arrogant and lacking courtesy. I will never stay again next time.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautifully updated, but still has lots of character. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, though the bathtub/shower is super deep and slippery, making it a little tricky to get in and out of. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet- it is was bountiful and delicious. The best part of this hotel is the location - right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere and enjoyed taking it all in! Strasbourg is a wonderful town and this hotel puts you in the heart of it all.

This is a great location. Push the window to see the majesty of the cathedral. It’s very convenient to eat outside the restaurant, and it’s close to the yacht. A few steps away from the commercial pedestrian street. Can go to the train station. I don’t regret it at all.

The location is good, less than 200 meters from the church. The rooms are small, which is a common problem in Europe and cannot be compared with Greater China. Finding a good time to book a room varies greatly from day to day.
