In fact we are dealing with 4 star hotel. And for this category my rating is VERY GOOD. Only staff cares about the premium and 5 * hotel feeling, nevertheless at some points it is just over the top. It's not necessary. Not to mention free water, cookies and towels changed twice a day - this is important. The thing that struck me the most: for this price, breakfast is charged € 20 per person.Luxurious from the outside with a well-kept garden. Similarly, in the main routes, such as the lobby or the hall - done sumptuously and elegantly (glamour). The rooms are well equipped however the bathrooms are another story. Bathroom without tiles. (walls and floor painted with oil paint). Behind the wall (mirror image) you can hear your neighbour from the room next, playing in the bathroom, as well as any flushing of water manifested by loud gurgling in the sinks and bidet (it can wake you up in the middle of the night). Lack of the gym, or bathroom without tiles (walls and floor painted with oil paint). It is not at this level. Plus: good location and free parking. do not be tempted by ”promotional” cooperation with the beach. They will charge you more than you go alone and rent sunbeds.

After 5 years we decided to review our hotel in Mentone. 5-star structure, excellent location, in the centre of Mentone, very high quality services, very professional staff is always available. The rooms, French style, are really very beautiful and spacious. A special thanks goes to the property that hosts us with great pleasure and great welcome every year, and to Mr. Rossana, which is our front office for 5 years, we thank you for your warm hospitality and welcome. We recommend to anyone walking from Mentone to stay in this wonderful complex

Hotel location is very good, breakfast is not bad, our room is a sea view room, but the room is too small, two large suitcases are placed in the room, it is more difficult to move, it is good to see the sea

Absolutely awful business. I attempted to book online and received an error message and ultimately gave up. No charges were filed to my card at the time and I received no email confirmation of booking. Later during my trip (while at the other hotel that I had successfully booked), I received a notification on my phone that the hotel had charged my card. I re-checked my email to be sure that I hadn't made a mistake and again, there was no booking confirmation and no evidence at all that the room had ever been booked. I reached out to them and they said I was charged the full price for the room because that is their no-show policy. I explained to them what had happened with the website and that I had no records of a booking to which they replied that I should have canceled. I again explained that I could not cancel a room for which I had no evidence of ever booking on my end. They repeatedly told me that it's my fault for not canceling despite refusing to acknowledge that I had no confirmation of this hotel at all. Who knows what other nightmares await if you book with these awful people.

Not bad, the environment is very good

Historic and old fashioned hotel in the old part of the town. Wonderful position, perfect service, thorough cleaning, good breakfast in the nice dining room in front of the sea. The improvable side of the story regards the rooms, where an update might help to add the fifth spot in the evaluation. A kettle with tea and infusion bags, a coffee machine, a (glass) bottle of water would render the nice old fashioned room more up-to-date
