We really enjoyed our visit today. We were only day pass guests tho ( because we are too cheap to get memberships) anyway, the staff on reception at the gym were so helpful and gave us a lock and a towel each, the price was £2 a towel ... 2 quid ! This country is in a crisis right now and like Adele says ' Go easy on me baby ' I handed over my card like Whoopi Goldberg handing the cheque to that nun in Ghost ...unfortunately the sauna was out of use which miffed us off abit but we didn't let that spoil things. The facilities were great .. steam room , swimming pool which was heated ! I had thoughts of a reenactment from the ending of Titanic but no ... oh and a jacuzzi ! After some time of day-dreaming and pretending that this place was my own, and it was part of my new house that I'd just purchased after winning big on the lotto, we got out and headed to the changies. Love that I could dry my hair and get my full geisha on instead of looking like a drowned rat that had been pulled from some kind of wreckage . After our time in the pool , we went for dinner ( we say dinner not lunch , we are Northern) ... we strutted into the bar and grill like we owned the gaff . We were greeted by the beautiful Wynne who was an absolute star. So happy, polite and adorable. It was at this point we needed to channel our inner Augustus Gloop and grip the menu. We got the Peri Peri burger stack each with fries and coleslaw and my guy in the kitchen did not disapoint . Wynne brought our food over and it was delicious,a tad overpriced I thought but it was lovely food. ( i just wont but my heating on for another week) I would've given a full 5 star rating but the sauna being out of order is the only reason why I'm not giving 5. Would come back again, course we would xxx

Very helpful and polite staff. Didn’t eat here as i went to a party so can’t comment on the food. Room was clean, the blind clattered a bit against the window sill when I walked around the room so I had to lift it a tiny bit but the car park was empty so privacy was maintained. There were several cobwebs above the lights in the bathroom above the mirror but everything else was clean and the air con was perfect as the duvet was roasting lol

Really nice decor and relaxed bar space. Nice rooms with bottled water by the bed and rainmaker cleaning utensils. Great selection of drinks behind the bar. Really friendly staff - our night team was Reece and Vicky and they accommodated us beautifully. Also I totally whipped whipped chicken at pool in the bar!
- Guest User
This was probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few absolute corkers. To top it off, Reece and Vicky are not only the best looking bar/hotel staff I’ve ever encountered but they also had some epic banterooni - an absolutely orgasmic time.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I'm currently staying at the hotel.i did stay here a number of years ago, and it was a good hotel then.i checked in and went to my room,it was quite dirty throughout. So i went to reception and asked to change to a cleaner room.I then looked at that,it was still dirty.back to reception, again try another room.it had a smell like an open sewer.so back again, at this point I asked to see the manager. What I need to point out is the reception staff and manager were very polite and friendly. I was told its an old building and during rain sometimes the drains back up and cause a smell.i explained the dirtiness of the rooms, stains on carpets and beds, peeling painted walls, and grime along surfaces, you could play noughts and crosses on the surfaces due to the amount of dust and grime.the remote controls were filthy.put you off picking one up.eventually I got a clean room.the manager took me to check it out herself. She was a nice lady who was doing what she could.after that I thought I'd watch a bit of TV.but all the channels had been programmed in the wrong way, just made it vert awkward to find a show.this morning at breakfast I went to restaurant and wanted a cup of coffee.went to machine and no cups, you have to ask to have one brought out.ok then.i ordered some pancakes of menu after 25 minutes 2 dried pancakes were brought out.ok ill have a glass of orange juice, lukewarm .the buffet,o asked for a gork as non at table ,a stained set of cutlery were provided to me.breakfast it's self was fine,no issues there.but overall breakfast experience a let down.at nearly £17 a head it should be better.though mine was part of the room rate.as you read through this review some parts may seem trivial ,possibly so.but it's the fact that when you add up all these small things it gives a overall bad experience. I have stayed a various holiday inns, and this isn't really up there.i was offered 2000 ihg reward points as a gesture from the manager. To put that into context,it costs around 20 000 points for a 1 night stay at a holiday inn. So really you can't do anything with 2000 points.a percentage of the bill would have been more appropriated.i think this hotel needs a major overall, and some of the staff retraining. The positives are the reception staff and manager.

Just had a two night stay with friends for a catch up in this hotel. We have stopped here before but this time I felt compelled to let other folk know just how good this hotel is. Every member of staff seemed happy & enjoyed their work . The hotel is clean & tidy, good bar & fantastic breakfasts. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which certainly got a 10/10 from me. Well done to all staff for making this a pleasurable break. I,m sure we will be back !

Reviews From Real Travelers
We spent New Years Eve and have to say, it was a brilliant way to bring in 2024. Our rooms were lovely. They were clean, and beautifully presented. When we arrived at the Blazers Suite for our Carvery Dinner, the staff had prepared a table really close by, as I had mentioned when booking that a member of my party was a bit unsteady on her feet. The receptionist said there would be somebody ready to help her to carry her hot meal, and there was a lovely member of staff at the back of the queue, who was more than happy to assist with choosing and carrying the plate to the table. The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the salmon and prawn starter, wrapped in the lightest pastry. The DJ was good, and the dance floor was packed all night. At midnight there was a rousing chorus of Auld Lang Syne. Only one little quibble, to knock a star off. I checked breakfast and check out times with the receptionist when we checked in. I had previously rang to check this information and was told breakfast 8-10am and check out 10.30am. I thought it worth another ask, as in previous hotels these were later, but the times were confirmed as above. I was surprised, therefore, to overhear the same receptionist mentioning a late check out to another guest as we were checking out. I queried this, and she confirmed both breakfast and check out were later, it being New Years Day. She said she had not been told about the change early enough, and apologised. After such an enjoyable evening, and a lovely breakfast, I was not in the mood to complain. However, the added half hour for breakfast and checkout would have meant we could spend a bit more time with my family, who had travelled from the Wirral to celebrate with us.

What was supposed to be one of the best days of my life, watching my first born get married, this turned out not to be at this hotel. My youngest daughter (who missed most of the wedding and was the only bridesmaid)got food poisoning from the hotel restaurant and also my brother(who was not as ill) they both had eaten the same food. The wedding was late due to the staff, yet they tried to blame the future husband, by saying they couldn't find him. We all have him on our phones waiting patiently at the alter....The food was nice but people didn't get a second helping even though they said they announced it. They did not. The DJ packed up early and did not know his audience very poor music rvenbthough he had a list. This wedding was so messy my daughter was still organising her wedding day ON her wedding day...Guests were getting ready in toilets or in the leisure centre. But if you were friends with the receptionist you got a room !!. The recommended florist from the hotel, no communication and we only seen the wedding flowers on the morning of the wedding. No pictures sent prior just a ”you will be happy with them ” excuse was she was busy with other weddings. Please please think twice before booking here I'm sure there are more experienced venues. So many little things that went wrong but put all those together caused disaster. We can't get this day back. So disappointed and heartbroken.

Coming to Warrington, this hotel is pretty good, with free parking. And the waiter's attitude is very good. There are also restaurants. There is also a separate cabin where you can cook. It was just that the outside room had insufficient heating and insufficient water. Everything else is perfectly fine.

Theme park hotel, of course, the environment is in line with nature, the air is fresh, it is most suitable for families with children, a variety of hotel room choices, a variety of children's beds, children's mobile games, enough to play all day.

We stayed here for a night as a stop off on a long journey. We could not have been more impressed! We checked in late, parking in the private (free) hotel carpark, and could not believe how beautiful and well thought out the whole hotel is. Original features with an amazing art deco type modernisation. We were shown to a gorgeous, spotless room and slept in a bed that was like a cloud! Powerful shower, tea and coffee, everything you’d want but all done to the highest spec! Breakfast was served in the cafe inside the hotel and Yaad, part of the husband and wife team who own the hotel, was incredibly warm and friendly. We are massive coffee lovers and hugely appreciated an amazing flat white with breakfast. Both the continental and cooked options were delicious. Thank you and we’ll be recommending to anyone visiting or passing through this area!
