Pulizia impeccabile. Personale professionale e cordiale

The Carmine is an outstanding example of a properly renovated historic hotel. It was once a monastery and it is beautifully restored. The linens are top grade, the bar is first class and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a good sized room for Italian standards. The hotel is located in a historic area full of restaurants and shops yet in a quiet corner that provides you with a good night’s sleep.

The new five-star Grand Hotel Palace is the ideal place for a vacation in a refined and luxurious Italian-Sicilian spirit. The hotel is in baroque and renaissance luxury of decadence style. The staff at the hotel are professional and simply dedicated to their guests from all over the world, from Denmark to the United States of America. The most delicious Italian wines and the best Marsali espresso coffee are served here. Breakfast at the hotel is buffet style. From Italian savory to the most delicious sweet specialties. Bartender Giovanni Lo Cascio is professional and diligent, he was at our service every second. The outdoor swimming pool in particular adorns the oasis of the old Palace Hotel. The water is warm and clean. At the pool there is a beautiful garden for aperitif services and a restaurant (food and meals). Be sure to try Gambere and a sandwich with tuna, salad and a special tomato. A white wine that smells like fresh lemon perfume, it's great. The service inside the hotel goes to the signature for the room. So everything is made easy for you. You don't have to carry personal documents and money, or bank cards and wonder if you'll ever lose them. Room are amazing and luxury. We will come back to this wonderful hotel again. Marsala is a historical place that you will enjoy to the maximum. You can visit the Marakaibo beach with an agreement at the hotel reception, which will organize a transfer for you within 15 minutes from and to the hotel with a 30% discount on sunbeds and umbrellas. All the best. Highly recommended. With respect, Alen Albinovic Denmark 22.06.2023.

Slept here for only one night during our tour in Sicily but would have liked to stay a few more days in this hotel. We found that it was a beautiful place, nice, clean and beautiful furbished...it felt like a palace. Good bed and very quiet at night, had a good sleep here. Staf was friendly and polite, diner was good as was the breakfast, although there were much more sweet items then savory ones, typical Italian. Very good coffee made by the barista on duty. Why not 5*...because there were no coffee/tea facilities in the room and the prices of the minibar are too expensive.

We have just returned from the Seawater Hotel. It is a lovely hotel kept spotlessly clean and with really friendly staff. The rooms are a good size with air con and very large comfy beds. Breakfast is great a mix of fresh fruit, cheese, hams and bread and an array of pastries and local treats. In the evening there is a good restaurant that when the weather is good food is served by the stunning pool. There are a few options for each course. If you have the trio of cheese starter which is lovely you can share between 2 as its a big portion. Location wise its in a quiet area on the main road into town. We didnt have a car and I would recommend you have one but you can walk into town in about 30 mins. Be warned some of the pavements are quite slim or none existent but it wasn't too much trouble. You can book the hotels shuttle into town for €5 per person each way and they will also help organise trips for you. We didnt use the spa but the 3 pools are great and a real asset to the hotel. Our only slight problem was they don't do lunch at the hotel so we went to the local supermarket a 5 minute walk and got some things for the room. There is also a local cafe probably 10 mins in the other direction, Cafe Caramel which was great but a bit of a limited choice. The staff are so lovely and helpful it was a great holiday and would definately recommend it.

Very very helpful staff members, the service was excellent, cleanliness was 10/10. It was my wife’s birthday and had not been able to arrange anything so requested hotel and they managed to bake a cake within a couple hours and served at midnight. I cannot thank them enough

The owner and the staff were always at our disposal and very kind with us throughout the whole stay. The room was clean and comfortable, every day we had the room cleaned and towels changed. They also have a little restaurant were we had delicious croissants and coffee for breakfast (they also give the option to choose a full buffet breakfast) and in the evenings we had nice and tasty pizzas. The location is great to go to the beach (there are different ones nearby, one within just few mins walk or other just 7 mins by car). The swimming pool was always clean and nice. By the way they have loads of space to park the car :) We can only say good things about this place and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Un ringraziamento a Nicola e a tutto lo staff del Signorino Resort

The accommodation was good with a fitted kitchen and all you needed. The Pool was saltwater and delightful. The bed was memory foam and quite comfortable and we had a very small balcony overlooking the pool. The only downside was the music at the Restaurant one night which was Extremely LOUD until 00h00. The staff were welcoming and helpful and we ate in the Restaurant a few times - great pizza at Zerondoni! A small problem was the position of the TV which could not be viewed comfortably from the bed and there are no soft chairs to sit on.

Reviews From Real Travelers
UPDATE - following my below review on my initial experience the manager sought me out to apologise and to resolve the issue regarding my room. I was shown the bungalow and an alternative hotel room. The bungalow was cute and if I was travelling as a couple it probably would have been my preferred option. As a solo traveler the hotel room seemed more appealing. It was also very much appreciated to get a heartfelt apology. An additional note regarding breakfast; if you are looking to avoid carbs (not easy in Italy anyway) then fruit and yogurt are really your options (they had a bowl of boiled eggs but that didn’t appeal) I wouldn’t want an English breakfast (I don’t have those in England!) but it really was just rolls and pastries (which did look delicious) My first night here was a disappointment. I was given a box room with a fold out bed (see pics) when I had actually booked a deluxe bungalow. I was told in a very nonchalant way that they were fully booked and there was plumbing issues with the bungalow. It’s a beautiful place for a wedding and wouldn’t begrudge anyone getting married but the music and party was very close to my room and very loud. Dinner was challenging as I don’t eat seafood so had limited options and as mentioned before; trying not to overload on carbs. The menu is heavily seafood based, which I assume is normal for the area, so ordered a salad and was given a bowl of chopped iceberg lettuce

The hotel and gardens are stunning , a wedding paradise we stayed for 5 nights and there was a wedding or party every night, in all honesty although quite loud it didn’t disturb us. We were in a “deluxe bungalow” which was more like a teletubbie house it was very very basic with no where to put anything we were disappointed. The hotel location is not close to anything we didn’t have a car and so relied on hotel shuttle bus to get around €30 round trip to the centre and € 50 round trip to the beach they added another € 30 on when another couple shared the shuttle bus with us.Advice to check your hotel bill before checking out because the driver took payment but hotel had also charged it to our bill we didn’t realise until we were on the way to the airport. You are also charged for water which we thought was complementary . The pool does require you to wear a swim cap which is €2.5 and the life guard is a stickler for it! The staff were very helpful and very friendly and the breakfast was really good with a great assortment of pastries, cakes and rolls. All in all a beautiful hotel but wouldn’t go again it’s to far out.

Love the location of this hotel! Quiet side pedestrian street just off the Main Street. Great walking to everything in a beautiful city! Restaurants, shops, gelataria’s, vendors and the antique market are all easily accessed. Rooms are slightly old fashioned in a lovely Eoropean way (room keys are fabulous—beautiful, heavy brass and are left at the desk anytime you leave the hotel) but bathrooms are beautifully updated. Staff is pleasant and breakfast option is offered.

We spent 3 nights here with our tour group. We were in room 208. Room was okay. Carpet had stains. Room had a safe, coffee service (although no milk or cream), and a small bathroom. Bed was firm. Breakfast buffet was very good. One morning we had freshly made pomegranate juice. Cappuccinos were made to order. Scrambled eggs were made perfectly (not runny) and they had the best sausage links. Hotel is close to restaurants, shops, wine bars, etc. Since we were in a large bus, we did have to walk about 10 mins from the car park out by the water down a street to get to the hotel. Front desk staff very friendly.
