W Hotel is really great! Unparalleled beauty surrounded by the sea and incomparable healing. I booked a lagoon sea view room type. You can see the sea when you lie in the bed. You can go to the sea to swim. Tired from anywhere in the room. The sea is cleaned twice a day. The room is cleaned twice daily. Clean and tidy breakfast is super delicious. I can watch the sunrise every morning and I can also participate in free sunrise yoga. I can go to dinner after eating a full meal. Everyone at the hotel is super enthusiastic. They used leaves for my birthday. Cut out the letters and put ”happy birthday” on the bed. I also arranged balloons and well-designed flower patterns to make the room warm and romantic. I was touched by it. I stayed for three nights and four days. It can be said to be an unprecedented vacation experience

We went for a family vacation from end of Dezember to mid January and were happy in all possible ways! The whole Kandolhu team is super friendly and provide an amazing stay! With the 5 restaurants you have a wide variety of foods to try and to explore different tastes! Special hint: We absolutely fell in love with the „butter chicken“ at the market - you’ll not find it on the card and you have to pre-order it 24hrs. in advance but it will blow your mind! The island is extremely clean, you have many small & bigger sharks circling close the the shore or around the reef as well as at least 3 turtles and eagle rays! We stayed at a water bungalow and with their direct access to the ocean you get to see corals and fish close to your doorstep! Snorkling around the housreefs really is a blissful experience as the corals and marine life has recovered very well from it‘s previous bleaching! Diving with Chiara & Michael makes a lot of fun and you even get to see some dive sites only approached from Kandolhu with fishswarms and hard corals as far as you can see - it really was an amazing experience! Special thanks to Nasru, Kris, Elvira, Estella, Waan for their excellent service in the restaurants, Raghi for looking after us and ensuring that we liked the food, Chiara, Michael and the boat crew for providing such funny dives and their efforts on the boat, Gilbert and the lady at the bar which welcomed you always with a smile and provided fantastically, Immi, which was always there for you if you had any question and Monika & Giaume, as the hosts of the island they were always open for a chat, where making sure that if something was needed you would get it immediately - great effort by all the Kandolhu Team!

Everything was wonderful. It had a cheerful Italian atmosphere, and the staff were friendly enough to say hello when they passed each other.

Whilst writing this review we are 3 day in to a 1 week holiday here at Ellaidhoo. The weather has been fantastic , the snorkelling & sea life , simply wow . We stayed in a superior beach view room , however to day we upgrade to a beach bungalow. We are on the all inclusive package , so food , drinks all included . Whether you drink beer , spirits cocktails , there is something for everyone. I personally would like thank The food & Beverage team for an amazing service to date . Headed by Malcolm , the service has been 1st class . A few personal mentions too for staff that have been looking after us , from Nazeer, Saddam , Jessica , susil, Ifuren to name a few , you are amazing people Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼

We just returned from Nika - an outstanding experience. Our flights included a seaplane from Male to Nika, which was exciting and gave great views of the atolls. We were greeted by friendly staff and taken to our Beach Villa. That category of accommodation was perfect for a family. Effective Air Conditioning was a huge relief after bad experiences elsewhere. The Beach villas have a small private beach. Stunning snorkelling just a few metres from your bedroom! We had been anxious beforehand about the single restaurant and what choice was available given the fussiness of some family members, but the combination of buffet options and set meals, together with the option to order something else if the set didn't suit made it all very easy. Lots of excursions to choose from - we all enjoyed going around the island reef edge with diver propulsion vehicles. The shop has some fun gear and you can get clothes made up. There was a great marine biology talk where we learned that the light coloured sand is in part generated by the poop from parrot fish. We did not have perfect weather all the time but the two storms were an entertaining experience in themselves. The only ******s were prices not being inclusive of taxes, and that electrical sockets did not seem to correspond to internet Maldives guidance – Nika uses 2 round pin and UK style rectangular 3-pin. It’s also worth paying attention to the timing of the daily insect spraying so you can avoid it if you want.

We stayed at the European Ranthari Hotel for three weeks and have tried everything and really enjoyed everything super. We spent 9 nights in the hostel. We had 2 double rooms with a good bed. The service was excellent. Rooms refreshed every day, as well as new towels, new linen every other day. Breakfast is very nice and Lakey, the manager is very flexible and accommodating. So he asked us every day what we wanted for breakfast the next day. The activities are also very nice. I would recommend the sand bank, the ray many’s trip, the snorkel trip, the dolphin trip as well as the fishing trip. All in all, very satisfied. Ukulhas is an inhabited island so do not expect a resort atmosphere or luxury. It is very basic but restaurants are very nice and you have the choice. The population is nice and I would recommend the island if you are not looking for an all inclusive resort.
