Top 10 Minot Afb Hotels

So canadas borders just opened up again and we figured we would go for a shopping trip to Minot , we typically stay at a discount hotel which is always nice but figured we would upgrade a bit and stay at Staybridge . My advice is - don’t bother . We booked online at a weekend discount rate for staying 2 nights . Upon checking in we noticed that they also had an offer for Canadians which was a discount rate plus a $25 visa gift card . We inquired about changing and they said they would have to speak with the mgr - well it took 2 days for them to respond and they weren’t willing to budge on this . The hotel seems nice at first glance however there is no ice at all - our freezer was broken in our room and when we called front desk they told us there was nothing they could do . There are no bathtubs just showers so after a long days shopping we went to have a shower and the water was cold , they told us to run it for ten minutes and it then got lukewarm at best . When checking out we told them we weren’t impressed and the front desk agent said he would speak to the manager , they called back and because we took a weekend discount rate they said there is nothing they would do - so needless to say we were not impressed at all . I will definitely be letting my Canadian friends know that they are better to save their $ and stay at a cheaper motel as this one might look nice but the important amenities are definitely lacking- what hotel doesn’t have ice and hot water ? And as for helpful service - well that was lacking as well . I normally don’t post bad reviews but I was really looking forward to this trip , and it truly disappointed

I stayed at this property for a work assignment. It made the most sense for me versus getting an air bnb. There are lots of contractors working at this location. Breakfast starts early so people leaving out at 6 have time to eat. The pool is heated and has jets. There is a nice sitting area and fireplace in the front lobby that I frequently took advantage of. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and passionate about their jobs.

We recently stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Minot, ND and it was really one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in for a long time. The front desk staff was nice, but I had pre-checked in so just picked up my room key and headed to the room. The room was comfortable, quiet, and really clean.
