"A few months ago I received a 2 free night stay offer. It was shortly after completion of their new East Tower. It was utter chaos when I arrived for their 4 pm check-in only to be told that it would be a few hours before they would have a room ready for us. We left and drove back home to St. Pete. So I was a bit hesitant to take advantage of another free stay offer this month but decided to give it a try hoping they had work through the growing pains of their expansion. Apparently they did as check-in was a breeze. Although I had booked an East Tower room, the only thing available at the time was the old West Tower. Considering that the room was free, I wasn't about to complain. Actually I was pleasantly surprised with my room in the old section of the hotel. It was very well maintained and extremely clean and well stocked with bath towels, toiletries, coffee, bottled water, etc. One of the maintenance men informed me that there are plans to renovate these rooms in the coming year but honestly, when looking at mine, nothing looked old, tired or worn whereas I have stayed at more than a few Hiltons and Marriotts that could have used a face lift. On the negative side.....the lighting is extremely poor like the majority of hotel rooms these days. Even sitting at the table directly under a light fixture and with ALL the other lights on in the room, it would be extremely difficult to see to read a book or magazine. WARNING: The bath tub in my room was extremely difficult to get in and out of and there was nothing to grab onto to make it easier and I don't have any physical limitations. If you do, I suggest you find out if the rooms in the new tower are any different or at least book an accessible room."
"This review is to inform you that I am beyond baffled at the experience that I experienced at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. We went with the intention to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday and have a great time doing so, instead, it quickly turned into a series of intimidation, humiliation, and harassment. We checked in on Friday and stayed in the East Tower for the weekend. We rented a VIP Cabana, only to be able to use it for a couple of hours instead of our entire time, due to inclement weather. Once we finally were able to enjoy the cabana, the remote control did not work. We waited as we got a new remote. We waited for the two live DJs that your website advertises. To our surprise, this was not available, nor was the private pool. The private pool was broken with a filtration issue. Again, something that was advertised on your website but yet was not available. I understand that COVID may hinder amenities but if this is the case this should be clearly stated instead of falsely advertising such options. Sunday morning, I decided to try to get a picture of the sunrise, as although I had a pool view, I did not have a sunrise view. I asked the hotel's staff what would be the best place to get such a picture. They kindly advised me that the top level of the Orient Garage would be my best option. I made it to the garage only to encounter myself with two males, one of them proceeded to chase me as I made it back to the elevator, calling out "Ehh yo, Ehh yo!!" and then mumbled something about Victoria Secret. As a female, I was petrified for my life. I was intimidated and harassed by the lack of security in your parking lot. I made it back to the security point, where I told them what had just happened. To my surprise, this was already a known issue, they had been told that there were men trying to get into cars!. This blows my mind, how is it that the reaction time to such occurrence was not elevated? I then proceeded to the front desk, where they then had me explain the petrifying experience to the Head of Security. He took down my name, phone number, and room number. This individual was extremely concerned and made me feel safe at the time. I appreciate the care that he showed. Fast forward to checkout time, we spent over an hour trying to get my vehicle from valet parking. And was completely humiliated by the valet parking supervisor. The night before, we left the premises, and upon return, I gave the key to the valet attendant, without getting a ticket. I asked the gentlemen if I would need a ticket, he responded that wasn't necessary. Well, clearly it was necessary at checkout. No one communicated anything with us upon arrival at the valet area. I advised the Bellman that we had a vehicle valet parked and he just told us it would be taken care of. Not the case. We were waiting there for almost 30 minutes until my wife decided to go talk to someone inside the office. As I tried to get the attention of the valet supervisor, he"
"Amazing stay in the newly built East Tower. King bed on the 15th floor. Room is very spacious, double sinks in the bathroom, frosted sliding glass door for privacy. Hotel room very clean with sealed door to ensure you a piece of mind when you walk in. Hard Rock looks to be Super Bowl ready! "
