A superb experience, the hostess with a Scottish accent led us through the castle, pushing open the heavy doors, as if walking into the world of Harry Potter. The castle tower is a 13th-century building, and the main room is an 18th-century building. There should be a lot of repairs in recent years, but the overall style has not changed. The breakfast is simple, but the local apple juice and croissants are very delicious.

Spacious, comfortable and recently renovated studio with balcony. SO much storage space - impressive! Quiet, and very well equipped. Easy walk to town, plenty of parking so we could come and go and explore the area. Pretty pool area. We'd definitely return!

Kind and helpful Reception staff, always acknowledged guests with welcoming smiles. Helped us buy tickets for local events. We we happy with our room and the view from the balcony. Dining area was attractive, food was delicious every day. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool as I am recovering from a broken shoulder and upper arm injury. Gentle swimming was perfect. Some carpets were a bit dated, but it didn't really matter. We saw a tennis court around the back of the hotel. It looked as though it hadn't been used for a long time.

Belle hôtel, mais un peu décevant. Bonne literie. Personnel agréable, mais trop peu nombreux. Salle de bain et douche très très bien. Réservé pour 3, Ibis nous avait réservé une chambre pour 2 (on a tout de même pu avoir notre chambre). Couette hiver (pour Juillet). Manque une liseuse (pour cette gamme d’hôtel). Petit déjeuner très en dessous de la gamme Ibis, pas de petite cuillère, pas de tasse à café (bu nos thé dans un verre à jus de fruits). Demandé tous cela mais jamais servi, car une seule personne pour faire la réception et le p’tit déj. Pour 125 euros ce n’est pas acceptable.
