The hotel is very convinient and strategic. Located right next to the Zurich HB station and directly above the Polybanh train (a local attraction of a train to go up to the Zurich University). There's money changer, Starbucks and restaurants on the same stretch of building. Opposite the bridge there is a major hypermart Coop where can get affortable meals, mineral water and daily items. The reception staffs were all very friendly. I requested higher floor facing the train track and the staff reserved for me since I indicated on my booking. There is complementary hot water, tea or coffee available at the lobby. It is a MUST place to stay. Just a small note, if handling heavy luggage on your own, just walk towards behind the Starbucks, there is a door right after the Western Union. The entrance here is only 2 steps, compared to the main front which has more than 10 steps.

The room is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT: upon check-in, I was asked to leave MY CREDIT CARD on file for the duration of my stay! This was despite the room already being paid for and charged to my credit card. Of course, I indignantly refused. Then I was asked to put down a 100€ deposit, which I equally firmly rejected (I didn't even have any Euros on me anyway... it was a spur-of-the-moment idea to be in Zurich!). The justification given was that I might raid the minibar without paying, but it was empty anyway. Mercifully, I was then allowed to check into my room without leaving any deposit.

I highly recommend this hotel! The location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk from the main train station, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was exactly as described, perfect for a solo business traveler or tourist – just the right amount of space, and the bathroom was especially spacious and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Swiss National Museum, and within walking distance of ETH Zurich, making it convenient to get anywhere. We arrived in Zurich from Interlaken earlier than scheduled, and the front desk kindly arranged a room for us before the official check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The bar on the ground floor is very popular, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dried fruits. There was a bottle of drinking water in the room, but we had to contact customer service to get slippers. Unfortunately, outside our window was a construction site with a building under construction, causing a lot of noise.

It is located right in the Old Town and very near the river, the main train station as well as main tourist attractions. There are also eateries nearby to suit every kind of preference and budget. The only thing I wish they have is, for safety reason, hand rails (grab bars) in the bathtub for seniors because one has to climb in and out to use the shower.

The Adler is an excellent choice hotel in the heart of Old Zürich. As a global business traveller, I have stayed in over 100 hotels. This hotel offers the perfect location to see Zürich with a short 10 min walk from Zürich HB🚄 Train Station. The single room is sufficient, clean and well stocked with a kettle, coffee, tea, slippers and a gift cloth shopping bag. If you need extra complimentary beverages they are stocked in the fridge on the 1st floor stairwell. Checkin was fast, and you can pre-checkin on your email link. At the time of writing this, there was some city construction of the surrounding streets due to underground work. Hopefully this will be completed by early spring. Should your shoes get a little dirty, there is a shoe shine machine on the 2nd stairwell. The breakfast is a healthy Swiss style breakfast of fresh bread, croissants🥐, yogurts, fresh warm boiled eggs, cold cuts, smoked salmon❤️ , cheese, cereals, lots of fruits, milk, juice and an excellent coffee machine for the perfect creama coffee☕. Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable. Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep. Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered. If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

In general, the hotel offers a balance between fee, location, and service. The room is clean, the location is suitable for walking to all the sightseeing places in Zurich. However, it is noteworthy that the bathroom and the toilet are not inside the room, you must go to separate places. This is not mentioned when I place the booking, or I didn’t pay attention to this detail. I travelled during the not-busy season so it is OK, most of the time when I wanted to use the bathroom, it was available. However, during the travel seasons, you should be aware.

Modern hotel with cosy rooms. Distance from Zurich HB train station is about a 15mins walk. iPad is used to control most of the functions in the room. We had issues with the Chromecast in our room and the hotel staff, Viktoriya, came to our rescue. The issue was not fixed but she was quick enough to offer another room, which turned out to be bigger, and we were able to binge watch our Netflix korean drama. We are very appreciative of Viktoriya's help and how she resolved the issue professionally. Highly recommend this hotel!

A very good stay experience. When I first checked in, I was not amazed, and even wanted to complain about the small bed in the triple room. It was a bit casual, right? But after actually checking in, I found that the mattress was very comfortable, the quilt was also very comfortable, and there was a bed-making service at night. Although the bathroom has a glass door, it was a little awkward when taking a shower, but fortunately it was a family trip, so it was okay. Here comes the point: I had to catch an early train on the day of check-out, so I didn’t have time to eat breakfast. I went to the front desk to ask if I could pack my breakfast? The front desk professionally took out a service sheet, recorded the room number and the number and content of the packed breakfast, and agreed on the time to pick up the meal in the morning! The facilities are pretty new overall, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver! I was so touched when I walked into the room and found it already on. They provide a combined shampoo/body wash and soap, but you'll need to bring all other disposable toiletries yourself, which is quite normal for Switzerland. However, the wooden hangers surprisingly bled color onto my clothes, and I couldn't wash it off... I also found the bathroom's lack of a door inexplicable, as it's very easy to get the floor wet. There's a tram stop right outside that goes to the central station, though you still have to walk a few hundred meters. The front desk offers daily tickets for about 9 CHF each. Breakfast is delivered to your room, and you can pre-order the time and selection at the front desk; it costs 20 CHF and is highly recommended. My only minor complaint is that there were small bottles of alcohol and snacks in the room without prices listed, so I assumed they were complimentary, only to find out at check-out that there was a charge. That aspect was a bit unfriendly.

I absolutely do not recommend staying in the east wing. To get there, you have to walk through quite a long tunnel from the main building. The rooms are very small, and the bathroom is super cramped too (if you open the door, you have to close it again to use the toilet because there's no space). The room isn't even big enough for two people to sit down and eat takeout. Furthermore, something I found quite uncomfortable is that the room doesn't have windows that open. I like fresh air, and that makes the atmosphere feel stuffy and dry. When I booked, I didn't check the room type carefully and didn't expect to encounter so many inconveniences. Before checking in, reception told me I could pay extra to switch to a better room, and that there were many large rooms available in the main building that night. (At hotels like InterContinental or Marriott, in situations like this, I usually get a free upgrade). If there are so many rooms available, I don't understand why they don't let you try one without charge. (I'm just giving my opinion; I know the hotel isn't obligated to do so).

highly recommend this hotel, convenient to central train station, walk to main shopping street for 15 mins. the room is very stylish, a bicycle is placed inside the room, maybe u can ride with it. I didn't use it as we drove. the mini bar is free of charge and can refill when necessary. Room cleaning is upon requested. Just a little bit noisy in the morning as it is located near the train station, but I can sleep without problem. There are around 20 carpark spaces in front of the hotel. it's very convenient for driving but space is limited, you can get the parking space for luck. and you can walk for 10 mins for another carpark if necessary. it's my first time in Zurich and I'm glad to stay here.

We loved this hotel. We booked a grand double deluxe room which had a seperate small living area to the bedroom, a full bathroom with seperate bathtub and big outdoor terrace. From check in to check out nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was one of the best ones we had on our whole stay.  It was a 10 minute walk to the train station and right next to the shopping street.  A great stay at this hotel.

AUKaren MearesWe loved this hotel. We booked a grand double deluxe room which had a seperate small living area to the bedroom, a full bathroom with seperate bathtub and big outdoor terrace. From check in to check out nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was one of the best ones we had on our whole stay.  It was a 10 minute walk to the train station and right next to the shopping street.  A great stay at this hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Swiss National Museum, and within walking distance of ETH Zurich, making it convenient to get anywhere. We arrived in Zurich from Interlaken earlier than scheduled, and the front desk kindly arranged a room for us before the official check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The bar on the ground floor is very popular, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dried fruits. There was a bottle of drinking water in the room, but we had to contact customer service to get slippers. Unfortunately, outside our window was a construction site with a building under construction, causing a lot of noise.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is its excellent location. Zurich's city center is quite small, perfect for a city walk. It's only a 5-minute walk from Zurich Main Station and a 10-minute walk to Bahnhofstrasse, a street bustling with luxury brands (next to Hermès is the top-rated Zeughauskeller restaurant, I highly recommend their pork knuckle set meal; there's also a LADERACH chocolate shop, their hazelnut chocolate is amazing). Lake Zurich is a 20-minute walk away, and a boat trip is incredibly enjoyable, with the sky and water blending seamlessly, offering natural comfort – 9.2 Swiss Francs for 1.5 hours. Nearby, there are two major Swiss supermarkets, Migros and Coop, making shopping and stocking up very convenient. A bit further away, there's a Lianhua Supermarket offering a full range of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean foods, which is a great relief for those craving Asian cuisine. The hotel rooms are generally very clean, the bathroom is particularly spacious, and the heating is excellent, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk offers complimentary sour green apples every day. The service from the Asian-looking staff was mediocre, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The overall quality of Swiss people is very high. For example: 1. While navigating to ETH Zurich on the street, my navigation was a bit slow, and as I hesitated, someone immediately came over to ask where I was going and if I needed help. They also told me that ETH is equivalent to MIT in the US. 2. We bought a 24-hour public transport pass (9.4 Swiss Francs, allowing unlimited tram and bus rides within zone 110). Once, when riding a tram, we saw a male passenger running towards it. A female passenger who had just disembarked held the tram door open for him until he got on board.

The room is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT: upon check-in, I was asked to leave MY CREDIT CARD on file for the duration of my stay! This was despite the room already being paid for and charged to my credit card. Of course, I indignantly refused. Then I was asked to put down a 100€ deposit, which I equally firmly rejected (I didn't even have any Euros on me anyway... it was a spur-of-the-moment idea to be in Zurich!). The justification given was that I might raid the minibar without paying, but it was empty anyway. Mercifully, I was then allowed to check into my room without leaving any deposit.

Modern and nice rooms. Self service check in. I fyou need assistance the staff are there to help. Near tram stations that connects you to the main proper and the main train station. The room is modern and clean. For budget travelers, there are restaurants and groceries nearby. Staff are friendly and speak English well.

The hotel has many rooms and is quite clean, with comfortable beds. There's a supermarket nearby, which is convenient for shopping. The breakfast is not lavish but not too simple either, just a normal breakfast that fills you up. The room size is decent, and the bathroom is large and clean. In winter, the heating is comfortable. The only downside is the decor style; the ceiling is unfinished concrete. If you don't mind that, it's a good value for money option.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the center of Vienna. The location was perfect, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great selection of fresh food, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. The hotel itself is great itself no doubt. The location of you’re traveling around Zurich is far from the center but really accessible within the area by tram in Spreitenbach. The room AC is until 18 degrees but does not cool up probably due to the summer but the room is great and the amenities are top class. The staff and reception are helpful to assist, it is also nearby an IKEA, Mcdonalds and other stores.
