Coffee machine & water or hot water or sparkling water dispenser available in the lobby. Mighty gym. Breakfast was the best part. Everything you expect from continental breakfast, made this hotel such a great value. Rooms aren’t big but sufficient space.

The room is clean but it’s cramped, hard to move fast. The front desk staff in the morning particularly the guy is rude. We were a bit early for breakfast because they changed their time from 6:30 to 7am which we aligned for our day activity. When i asked if we can just sit inside while waiting for a few minutes before 7am, he answered me rudely saying “as i said..”, but when we came inside at 7:01am, there were already people eating there, 2 pairs i saw. This is rude because we were pressed for time as we have to catch up the tour bus and we paid for the breakfast knowing the time is 6:30am but they changed it the night before and they let other people in while we just requested to be seated inside while waiting for 7am. Most of their staff are rude. Only the guy at the breakfast checkin is nice.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Zurich - very close to the central tram stops. The only issue we had was the stairs at the front, but an employee directed us to the back of the property and there were less stairs there. 👍🏼👍🏼 Lift was quite small but we managed. They have a wonderful restaurant on site with authentic meals - very nice.

The room is great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. BUT: upon check-in, I was asked to leave MY CREDIT CARD on file for the duration of my stay! This was despite the room already being paid for and charged to my credit card. Of course, I indignantly refused. Then I was asked to put down a 100€ deposit, which I equally firmly rejected (I didn't even have any Euros on me anyway... it was a spur-of-the-moment idea to be in Zurich!). The justification given was that I might raid the minibar without paying, but it was empty anyway. Mercifully, I was then allowed to check into my room without leaving any deposit.

I highly recommend this hotel! The location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk from the main train station, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was exactly as described, perfect for a solo business traveler or tourist – just the right amount of space, and the bathroom was especially spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly, and it offered great value for money. I'd probably choose this hotel again next time I'm in Zurich.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Swiss National Museum, and within walking distance of ETH Zurich, making it convenient to get anywhere. We arrived in Zurich from Interlaken earlier than scheduled, and the front desk kindly arranged a room for us before the official check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The bar on the ground floor is very popular, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dried fruits. There was a bottle of drinking water in the room, but we had to contact customer service to get slippers. Unfortunately, outside our window was a construction site with a building under construction, causing a lot of noise.

The Adler is an excellent choice hotel in the heart of Old Zürich. As a global business traveller, I have stayed in over 100 hotels. This hotel offers the perfect location to see Zürich with a short 10 min walk from Zürich HB🚄 Train Station. The single room is sufficient, clean and well stocked with a kettle, coffee, tea, slippers and a gift cloth shopping bag. If you need extra complimentary beverages they are stocked in the fridge on the 1st floor stairwell. Checkin was fast, and you can pre-checkin on your email link. At the time of writing this, there was some city construction of the surrounding streets due to underground work. Hopefully this will be completed by early spring. Should your shoes get a little dirty, there is a shoe shine machine on the 2nd stairwell. The breakfast is a healthy Swiss style breakfast of fresh bread, croissants🥐, yogurts, fresh warm boiled eggs, cold cuts, smoked salmon❤️ , cheese, cereals, lots of fruits, milk, juice and an excellent coffee machine for the perfect creama coffee☕. A fast and frequent 10-minute tram from the main station to hotel. Very friendly and diligent staff. Clean room and toilet with convertible sofa/bed. Breakfast was very delicious and comfortable, and there are a lot of choices. Restaurant obviously understaff at breakfast time but staff are very diligent and helpful - fast servicing to clean tables, refill food, and even teach customers how to use coffee machines. Overall very nice hotel, would highly recommend it.

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable. Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep. Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered. If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

Service: This is where the hotel truly shines. All the staff were incredibly helpful, professional, and thoughtful. They provided detailed explanations and actively offered assistance. I especially appreciated encountering two Chinese-speaking staff members who not only wished me a Happy New Year but also engaged with me in Chinese, making me feel right at home. Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the main train station and all the attractions in the Old Town, all within walking distance. The hotel design is appealing, and the little calf statue at the entrance is adorable. Facilities: The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. However, the pillows weren't very comfortable and might not be ideal for people with neck problems. Cleanliness: Generally good, but the details left something to be desired. Room was very small. Tables or storage spaces are very limited. Toilet seat was WAY too high. They put a note saying that ”it's an experience of the Swiss Mountain”, which kind of made the experience worse. Same goes with the shower, the shower is in the room, so you will need to get changed in the room. If you're a couple, it's probably fine, but if you're traveling with a friend, I think it'll be very awkward. Again they had a note in the shower, saying that ”act like this is a chance to give your friend a private concert in the shower”, that felt a bit ironic... Changing the sheets is only available after 3 days. No kettles in the hotel room. There was a hair dryer, the shower gels are 3-in-1. Service was good from the hotel staff and they were very polite and helpful as our key card stopped working after the cleaners cleaned our room in one of the days, and we had to fix that. The location is a bit far, given that you need to take the tram or the train to Zurich HB but that's expected for an ibis budget

It's truly a rare find to get an apartment with cooking facilities in Zurich! The room was very spacious! It came with air conditioning and electric heating. We stayed at ibis Zürich City West for one night while visiting Zurich, and it worked well as a straightforward place to stay for a quick stop in the city. We had a triple room, which was a good size and worked well for our needs. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with enough space for luggage and a good night’s sleep after travelling. It wasn’t luxurious, but it had everything you would expect from an Ibis hotel and felt well maintained. In terms of location, the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Zurich’s main train station, which makes it reasonably convenient if you’re arriving by train. The area felt easy to navigate, and although it’s not right in the historic centre, it’s close enough to reach the main parts of the city without too much difficulty. Our stay was very short — we arrived late in the evening and left early the next morning — so we didn’t get the chance to explore the hotel or use any of the facilities such as the restaurant or breakfast service. For us, the hotel simply served as a comfortable overnight stop. I would recommend ibis Zürich City West if you’re looking for a clean, reliable hotel for a short stay in Zurich. It’s particularly suitable if you just need somewhere practical to sleep before continuing your journey.

Service is top notch and dinner at the main restaurant is also good. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The only downside is that the rooms are not sound proof so you hear most of what is happening in the next room. Other than that, really enjoyed my stay.

Modern hotel with cosy rooms. Distance from Zurich HB train station is about a 15mins walk. iPad is used to control most of the functions in the room. We had issues with the Chromecast in our room and the hotel staff, Viktoriya, came to our rescue. The issue was not fixed but she was quick enough to offer another room, which turned out to be bigger, and we were able to binge watch our Netflix korean drama. We are very appreciative of Viktoriya's help and how she resolved the issue professionally. Highly recommend this hotel!

Thanks to their flexibility, we were able to start our sightseeing on time the next day. Although it's a bit of a walk from the station, I still highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Switzerland.

UUNISCJPOur flight was delayed, so we ended up checking in late at night, but the hotel staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Thanks to their flexibility, we were able to start our sightseeing on time the next day. The location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Platform 1 of the train station to the hotel. Getting to Zurich Airport or Zurich main terminal takes about five to eight minutes by car. The room was very clean, and the staff were polite. The hotel has a very trendy and stylish vibe. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I would definitely choose this hotel again.

The staff was very friendly. Close to the train station, it was about 4 blocks and a good portion was uphill) and across the street from a bus stop. Everything was clean, the bed and pillow provided were comfortable. Food was great. I would recommend and will be going back if in the area

The room is clean but it’s cramped, hard to move fast. The front desk staff in the morning particularly the guy is rude. We were a bit early for breakfast because they changed their time from 6:30 to 7am which we aligned for our day activity. When i asked if we can just sit inside while waiting for a few minutes before 7am, he answered me rudely saying “as i said..”, but when we came inside at 7:01am, there were already people eating there, 2 pairs i saw. This is rude because we were pressed for time as we have to catch up the tour bus and we paid for the breakfast knowing the time is 6:30am but they changed it the night before and they let other people in while we just requested to be seated inside while waiting for 7am. Most of their staff are rude. Only the guy at the breakfast checkin is nice.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's a perfectly functional and convenient hotel with all the necessary amenities. The lobby has self-service check-in and check-out machines, and there's 24-hour front desk service, which was very polite and thoughtful. The lobby is quite spacious, with self-service drink and coffee machines, a microwave, and a small pantry area. There are also many desks and power outlets. The room was spotlessly clean. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a kettle, and the internet speed in the room was excellent – perfect for watching videos on your phone. The hotel is large with many rooms, so I'm not sure if all rooms have equally good signal. Right next to the hotel, in an adjacent building, there are two supermarkets with a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, and daily necessities, plus a pharmacy. The tram stop for Tram 10 is right outside the supermarket. This tram runs between Zurich Airport and Zurich Central Station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the city center or the airport without transfers. What's more, the tram stops are level with the ground, which is great for passengers using wheelchairs or pushing strollers. From the airport, take this tram and get off at the Glattpark stop; the journey only takes about 8-9 minutes. This tram runs almost all day, so early morning or late-night flights are no problem. The ticket price is also reasonable. Plus, the hotel's price offers much better value and conditions compared to renting a similarly priced room in the city. Breakfast was decent.

I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Zurich and overall the hotel was comfortable, clean, and suitable for a short stay. However, I booked a King Bed room, but upon arrival I was arranged a Twin Bedroom instead. I was already very tired from travelling, so I decided not to request a room change at that time. While the stay was still acceptable, I hope the hotel can pay closer attention to room type arrangements, especially when guests have already booked a specific bed type. It would make the check-in experience smoother and avoid disappointment after a long journey. The room itself was clean and the hotel location/service was generally okay, but the room assignment issue did affect my overall experience.
