If this hotel is the answer to your question, the you are probably asking the wrong question. Unless that question happens to be “how do I find a charmless hotel in a really inconvenient location?”. My views are definitely coloured by being dumped here by Swiss Air (a plague on both your houses). The rooms are functional enough (good shower, reasonably comfortable bed). The air conditioning doesn’t work it was a stable 28 degrees in the room until night with the window open). The evening meal would embarrass a toddler. Some kind of pasta slop with plenty of Parmesan to try and cover the flavour. Breakfast buffet was a slight improvement. The location is equally charmless. Located in an industrial zone, you’ll have a 35 minute taxi ride into the city. Public transport is an hour. If you like a mix of construction sites, malls that look like prisons and an IKEA: this is your vibe. I need to separate the staff from this: they were all lovely and as helpful as they could be. But unless you’re sheltering from zombie apocalypse and have absolutely no other choice, I’m confident that anything would be an upgrade.

This hotel was very nice and new. Only issue i had was regarding the air conditioning. Switzerland AC is different than in the states so you barely feel it. i had to sleep with the balcony door opened the entire night i was there and one night i couldn’t sleep because of how hot it was.

Very Clean and new place. Very good. Little out of Zurich but very good.
