The Chinese restaurant on the negative floor has very few people and does not say how it tastes. The ingredients are really fresh and fishy. I do n’t know how long it took to make breakfast Chinese food and something to eat shredded potatoes. I really recommend buffet.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days and really enjoyed my stay. As it was my first time in Addis, I found their airport pick up very convenient. The hotel has great location as it is in the heart of the city. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The hotel staff are warm and friendly. Food is great, with buffet option in the afternoon. I liked the heated swimming pool, steam and sauna, which are all free for guests. Great value for money. I was able to pay for accommodation and meals using by Visa card. I will definitely come back.

freindship hotel great hotel provides pretty much what one would want from a hotel sauna &steam and gym ground floor . A spacious rooms a number of food and dining , and cleanliness. It had all of these characteristics . There are security watching the hotel 24 hours a day and friendly staff. The hotel manager is outstanding. You have a great view of the city.I will come back as it is one of the best in addis ababa.

The location is good on the street in front of the Ramada Hotel. The decoration is simple and atmospheric. Although there is no air conditioning, it is not stuffy and hot because the rooms are all north facing. There is no problem with ventilation during the day. I stayed here for almost a month. First week experience was unfortunate as I had to do quarantine for 7 days and the room was uncomfortable. It wasn’t as clean as it could have been at all. The window had no light which made it very hard to work online, especially when you have meetings and daily video meetings. The room was very very cold and no heaters. Some of the lamps didn’t work either, the lightning could be improved. This affected my work The construction opposite the window was quite creepy as it stole all the natural light away and it looks quite scary. During the first week, I was told different information by different staff which was confusing. Unfortunately my COVID results were late, which had me ending up extending my stay for future two days. However the staff did apologise and the manager personally contacted me few times. After the quarantine, I was moved into a much better and cleaner room, which allowed me to work online with good natural light and amenities in the room. Overall the staff was friendly, I could see the chefs cooking with hygiene measures and everyone practiced food hygiene , washing hands etc. Suggestions : I had someone call me at midnight during my first 7 days to say the laundry was ready. It freaked me out as the timing is unacceptable to call a guest at that time. Perhaps better training should be in place. Once I wanted to have a drink in the restaurant/bar and the waiter told me I should drink in my room. Later I saw other people drink in the bar. They should communicate with each other or with the manager to see what’s allowed or not. Staff should communicate more with each other for better understanding so they can inform customers the same thing and not different. The staff should understand that sometimes If the customer feels distressed, you need to acknowledge that and not excuse it. Perhaps because of COVID the rest of the hotel amenities were closed as I was told the bar on 9th floor is closed, there is no spa, the jewellery and gift shop was shut, the gym was not accessible. The location is in perfect location in Bole, close to restaurants and cafes. There is Infiniti cafe right next to the hotel which is great. Overall, I do think the staff were friendly and helpful and tried to help when they could. Some of the staff were extra kind and really reassuring such as one the staff in front desk who helped me change to the new room and directed me to Edna mall and helped with transport etc. Some of the wait staff were really friendly and always asked how I was and how my day was which was sweet and kind. The hotel is safe and secure with security measures. The manager also checked in few times and personally dropped me off to the airport which was reassuring and kind of him. I am hoping to come back soon and I will stay here again when I return to Addis .

Have you ever come to the hotel that is closed? 😀 And we have arrived. They wrote in advance that we had a late flight, wrote the number of flight, the time of arrival(they had a free transfer from/to the airport) After all, no one met us on arrival. You could have walked, but it was at an hour of the night and it is Africa. Come to the hotel, no identification marks. The sign on the adjacent fence, which should at least somehow indicate that the hotel is here, grew in vine. Okay, learned from the neighbors that this hotel is this. The gate is closed, the light is nowhere. Bang. Opens the door ”guard,” wakes up and takes the wealth and takes to the hotel ..... and here the most interesting .... Hotel door is closed. This guard starts shouting something on his door, knocking, running around the hotel and shouting .... everything was unsuccessful. As a result, he got through some window 😀 and opened us the doors. In general, we didn't find anyone in the hotel. The only room that was opened was horrible dirty, just in a terrible condition, as if the room was last filled in the bed in 1876 and closed it until the best time. The options we had a little at three o'clock in the morning and we slept right there. In the morning there was a manager who said we should pay the full cost of accommodation 😳😳😳 for the number ”de lux”. We paid, otherwise we would automatically still have the money off the card. Well .... for us this is a good experience 😊

This is about 5 minutes' drive from Bole airport. The hotel is a good sized, well equipped hotel with a nice breakfast for your day. We did need a few things from the staff like the location of a late night pharmacy and they called around and got us the information and directions we needed to help us out. That was huge! The location is amid downtown's restaurants, shops, malls, and more. Even a Burger King a block away. English speaking was perfect! The room was very well appointed with waters, amenities and a really good bathroom.

The place is ok for a night or two, especially if you are on a layover. It's conveniently located in Bole close to the airport and to some restaurants and bars. Complementary airport shuttle 24/7. Breakfast is available but limited. The rooms are ok. They are clean but desperately need renovation. In my room, the floor was full of scratches and the color was coming off, the furniture was old and partly broken, the curtains had holes, bedsheets and towels were almost falling apart. Still, for a night it was ok if you don't have high expectations and cleanliness matters more to you. What I didn't like was that I booked a suite room (Genius upgrade from booking.com) but upon my arrival I was given a standard room. The reception didn't inform me about that, I just noticed when I entered the room. When I asked about it, they told me that the room was not available because someone had Covid and couldn't check out. However, the hotel has several suite rooms (and when I checked the night before for a friend, there were still suites bookable). So it seems they just didn't want to give me the room upgrade... I also asked them before my arrival to check about an event that was supposed to happen in a nearby hotel the night of my arrival, but they never did.

Breakfast is terrible, giving up to one point. You can only eat eggs and porridge every day. Others can't look directly. Watermelon has not been eaten too sweet. Close to the airport, there is a free bus transfer, there are friendsship small shopping malls around, you can also find some Chinese restaurants, but it is very expensive. Hotel service is general, the samples of the exhibitors were not picked up by the customs due to the drag of the hotel staff. . The room light was bad and I was too lazy to change it.
