Shiv Kothi - Homestay

What an amazing homestay! The room was decorated beautifully and was huge! The bathroom was perfect with an excellent shower. The hosts were so great and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived (which was 10pm and much later than planned due to a bus delay). They arranged transport with a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and also booked our train to Delhi for us before we left, which was extremely helpful. We had home cooked dinner both nights which was delicious and a great breakfast! The location is great, only a short walk to ***y of the restaurants etc and you could even walk to the Taj Mahal. Would definitely stay here again as they made things perfect and their home is really beautiful!!

Wow, interior design ( gorgeous!) , cleanliness and comfort at its best in this 5 guest room homestay. Super clean, comfortable, with a wonderful breakfast that included fruits, yoghurt, omelettes , ***l, naan , Masala chai and coffee. ( coffee could be stronger .. surely I could hve asked for that , but only stayed one day). The owners are super sweet, and Mukesh even speaks fluent Ger*** ( besides English and Hindi of course) . Cant say enough how I highly I recommend this place !!

Very lovely family home 🏡. Its clean and beautiful 😍. They were very friendly and helpful to guide, taxi, food etc... They guided us to a restaurant where they had amazing food and served meat and wine and beer 👍👍👍👍 We can rekomend this place.

This home stay is best in agra & better than any 5 star hotel...it is home away from home...family of 4, Mr mukesh sharma his wife & 2 children treat all guests as their own family...out of the way, they help guests...Mrs Richa Sharma prepares so much delicious food that we didn't feel like eating outside home...we r feeling like staying one week, next time in the same homestay with SHARMA FAMILY Dr. Mrs.Rekha Shah

This bed and breakfast is ran by a nice family and is not far from the Taj Mahal. Room was huge with private internal balcony, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and freshly made. Good wifi connection. We did not ***age to have hot water but it was not an issue since the hot weather.

Beautiful homestay with great food, loved the cozy ambience and heart welcoming family. Definitely would suggest the place when in Agra, it has not got much reviews in google but worth to stay! Very near to taj east gate as well.

A very fine place in a newly built house, A big beautiful rooms with good air ventilation. Guests can order dinner, a wonderful food prepared by wife and cook is exillent ! Helpful and nice hoasts.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the family are so warm and welcome you into their home so graciously. The house is very modern, clean and homely. It feels like a home away from home. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. The AC probably works too well, and we got so cold in the night! The breakfast is basically all you can eat 😅 you get fruit & cereal, toast with butter & jam, and an Indian breakfast or Paratha with some other dishes on the side. They keep topping you up until you burst. The food is so good We also had dinner here every night, the lady of the house is the best cook. Again dinner is homemade, fresh and delicious! I would say the only thing that needs improvement is the WiFi, we had poor signal in our room but this isn’t really a big deal. I enjoyed my stay, would recommend 100%
