Adalya Elite Lara Hotel

This was our first visit to the Adalya Elite Lara. I have stayed in many All Inclusive in Antalya and this one of the top ones. Luckily, the weather was good throughout hitting 20c some days. A short transfer from Antalya Airport, the hotel is located opposite the Aska Lara. The shops and a pharmacy are located opposite the hotel and there are more within a 10-15 min walk. The bus service is excellent for those who don't want to walk, and it can take you all the way into Antalya City Centre for a measly 18TL. The hotel lobby and surroundings are lavish, with a huge seating area, lift views and two bars, located on each side of the lobby. The Patisserie is also on the lobby floor, and it's the only one I have ever seen that is open 11 hours per day!, great for coffees, special teas, 12 flavours of ice creams, cakes, biscuits and sandwiches. The outdoor terrace is quite chilled with plenty of seating, and there is a fountain and a few swing chairs located. But at times it can get busy with guests puffing away on cigarettes or using the Shisha stall. I requested a room on the high floor and loved the side sea view room on the 5th Floor. The rooms are very spacious, modern, and well laid out, with plenty of storage space, and seating. Each standard room has a queen size bed and a single bbed.A few TV channels with movies etc to watch in English by selecting the language options on the remote control. Onto the most important part :-), food. Now, with it being the winter season, the outdoor snack bars were closed as expected, but this was available in the main restaurant from 2.30pm - 5pm daily. Choice of the delicious stone baked Pizzas, fresh burgers, coated chicken, gozleme, salads etc. The food options at breakfast, lunch and dinner were plentiful (meat eater paradise, but plenty for the veggies). If you can't find anything to eat, then you must be a fussy eater. This was the first time in Turkey I have had some spicy food, I didn't need the chilli sauce bottles I bought from the UK. The theme nights were good, especially the Mexican night, fab tacos, spicy rice, quesadillas. There are plenty of seats available the restaurant and we enjoyed the quieter 18+ only areas. There are some A la carte options available, and you can visit one per 7 nights stay booked via Guest Relations. I didn't bother, as the food was so good in the restaurant with a much bigger selection. If you are still hungry after the Patisserie closes, you can head back to the main restaurant to fill your belly from 11pm to 7am. The outdoor heated pool, and indoor pool were available and was not too busy, sunbeds were available throughout the day. The floors in the indoor pool are a bit slippery, and they have put mats across the walking areas to avoid any accidents. You will burn the calories on the lovely walk to the beach, with plenty of sunbeds at this time of the year. The jetty/bar was closed, as all hotels in the area are due to put in new decking. Hotel is lovely, rooms are very large and comfortable but need soundproofing, you can hear everything in the rooms either side so makes sleeping difficult. Unfortunately they had renovation works going on, think upstairs to us but drilling noise was awful. Food not up to 5* could not get plain chicken or meatballs for the children. Being ultra all inclusive would have expected bottle beers but nothing. Took ages to get served at the bars due to numerous children ordering kids cocktails - would suggest hotel change to only parents/adults ordering for the children. As we were a large group we enjoyed ourselves but went out daytime. We weren't able to reserve dinner tables so we didnt all get to eat together On the plus side hotel was clean, indoor and outdoor heated pools.

That's beautiful........ and everything is good... actually knowing more about country it very easy for us to put our hands together to build the world together and celebrate together... and that's the best

Immaculately clean hotel, super friendly team, nothing is too much trouble. Amazing choice of food, We started each day with a hot drink from the East bar, they were amazing with us and our little boy. He lost one of his toys twice and Bengûl went above and beyond to help us find it. Make sure you book your a’ la cart meal when you get there as they often get booked up quickly.

7 days at this beautiful hotel, plenty to do throughout our stay to keep our 6 year old boy entertained. Food is good with a large selection each day. What made it for us was the girls (a special mention to Bengul) at the East Bar who made our drinks every morning and provided an excellent service.

We loved our stay here, it was fantastic. The staff are amazing. The hotel is spotless, throughout. The rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday. Food is varied although can be a little repetitive T

Arrived at the hotel to find a poor welcome no information not even a smile . To then arrive in a dirty room with dirty bedding please see the pictures went straight to reception to be told nothing could be done until the morning no apology nothing . Also I said we could not get onto the internet initially told it takes 30mins phoned again told 1 hour then phoned again and they said it takes three hours ?? The morning came once again went down to reception to show the photos again no apology just told to come back at 10 came back at 10 to be told room a new room would be ready at two by this time we just asked for the room to be cleaned properly and robes to be delivered, robes got delivered at the very end of the day and still the room has never been cleaned the dirty sheets are still in the corner the sticky marks are on the fridge . We are very well travelled and please be aware this is not a five star hotel I am not sure who is doing all the reviews as a lot of British people are complaining… understaffed lots of managers but not enough waiting or bar staff … staff look fed up and should be with the lack of help . Reception staff appear unfriendly and unhelpful. The food is good but the lack of tables makes evening meals and breakfast feel like a chore this needs looking at. The most informative friendly and helpful member of staff which should train the reception staff was the bellboy Ishmail who would help and advise when we got the one word answers. Dread to think what it will be like in peak season .

For this price, there are better hotels in Antalya and we didn't like it at all. It was weak. Be sure to do your research before coming. And unfortunately we have to stay for another 3 days.
