The breakfast leaves much to be desired. Really cheap food

Super cabins, very tastefully appointed and great food. I almost booked inside the turtle reserve - but was glad to stay here instead at half the price, and a much nicer hotel. It's only a few mins drive from the reserve.

We stayed at the Deluxe room which is very nice. The person at the reception was very room and not cooperative at all... Just rude. The food was so bad we ended up eating plain rice... Other Sama lodges food is way better...really a shame for this poor food and service

We had an excellent stay at Sama Ras Al Jinz Eco Lodge. It is within driving distance (maybe even a long walk) from the turtle sanctuary. The bungalows are beautiful with working A/C and the outdoor shower was very cool! There isn't a lot to do at the lodge, but they did show a movie outdoors under the stars. The food was especially impressive. There was a large variety at the buffet and all of the food was of excellent quality. The staff was kind and parking is free. The only improvement is to offer wi-fi. I highly recommend this accommodation. It was very close to the turtle sanctuary and extremely comfortable. It was one of our best stays in Oman!

Welcoming accommodation with an innovative, quality and friendly concept. Decoration of very good taste. The staff is attentive and considerate while remaining discreet. The food is of very good quality. Services of a very good level. We recommend.

We had a truly wonderful stay the staff and the accommodations were wonderful, clean and spacious. The eco friendly design was a pleasure. The food was tasty and freshly made. I would like to mention Jaffer at the reception being very friendly and professional. Shankar was also very helpful, as were all the other staff. The open air movie was fun. We will definitely be coming back to stay at the Sama Ras Al Jinz. Thank you

Amazing experience in this place. Highly recommended compared to the hotel inside the turtle nature reserve. It is only 5 minutes driving from the turtle beach. Rooms are super nice and staff amazing. RECOMMENDED

We spent a night at the Sama camp while visiting the turtle breeding beaches. We were really impressed with this camp. We had one of the deluxe rooms and absolutely loved it – one of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in Oman. We have stayed in all the Sama camps/resorts around Oman and this room was definitely the nicest. The room was very spacious and airy with lots of big windows to let in the natural light. The room had some charming furniture and wooden design and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. The AC and mini-fridge both worked well. There was no Wifi but the mobile data was very strong and fast. The setting was nice, way out in a rural area about 5km from the beach. The views are not great, but the overall ambience was nice. We had an excellent dinner buffet – very tasty food. And the breakfast was pretty decent as well. All the staff were great – very friendly and helpful in all respects. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it to all other travelers.
