Hotels near Red Tower in Alanya

Awful experience, first of all our room was not at all like the pictures in our booking. After a request to change rooms (at a cost of 8 euro’s a night) we agreed to pay half. Which was before we realised there was barely any hot water, no matter the time of day. Then there was the quality of the general facilities and the equipment provided (run down and dated) alongside chipped tableware and cracked tiles. More than once there were holes and stains on the ‘freshly changed’ bedding. The cleaning of the room in winter time is mean’t to be every other day however we had to verbally request for the room to be cleaned. We also ended up doing it ourselves a few times in the two weeks. The maids were excessively loud and disruptive, often waking us with banging and crashing as they carried out their cleaning services in the surrounding rooms. When we approached the staff working at the hotel they said they would contact the manager/owner to find a solution to the issues we had raised but no one came back to us until our check out day, they told us if we didn’t pay the room upgrade despite our disappointing experience they would have to pay which was obviously a lie. We also requested a double mattress topper, our request was ignored even though we asked numerous times. Our request was finally granted a week into our stay. Wouldn’t recommend staying here!

Hotel Titan Select is located on the seaside of Alanya district, featuring a private area at the sandy and pebble beach only 250 metres away. The property includes outdoor and indoor pools, and a spa centre. The bright rooms of Titan Select are tastefully decorated in light colours. They are all equipped with air conditioning and satellite TV. Meals can be enjoyed at the restaurant. The hotel’s bar offers a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day. Alanya city centre is 13 km away. The hotel is 56 km from Gazipaşa Airport and 120 km from Antalya Airport.

This was our first visit to Turkey. Definitely won't be the last. We weren't actually supposed to be staying at this hotel but were told we had to take because ours wasn't available. No reason given. But, I can't really complain about anything. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and polite. Please and thankyou go a long way! They brought us drinks and anything else we asked for. I wish I could remember their names but I can't. But the older gentleman who was always there afternoon/evening especially needs a mention. He was absolutely lovely and gave us some chillies. Food was lovely. As pointed out, not totally geared to the English but let's be fair, we were in Turkey! What do people expect? The Turkish kebab night was amazing. There was always something to eat and everything was cooked well and delicious. We were put on the 6th (top) floor and were glad we did. The rooms up there are twice the size of the other rooms as are the balconies. Wonderful views from up there too. Would highly recommend asking for a room on the 6th floor. No issues with the lifts either. Pool area was a bit smaller than I'm used to but perfectly adequate. Saying that, we were there at the end of November and it wasn't majorly busy. The pool bar was great and always manned. If nobody was there, there was always someone keeping an eye out and they would pop up very quickly. Drinks were absolutely fine. The hotel is in a great location. 5 mins from the beach and in the middle of shops all around. Most of the shops take turkish lira, euros or English pounds. I would recommend taking euros tbh. Most seemed to prefer this. We didn't book any excursions but we did go to the harbour and booked a pirate boat trip. Absolutely fabulous and the cheapest boat trip ever. Nearly 5 hours, diving stops, free soft drinks and lunch for 15 euros each! If you want to do a boat trip, Definitely go to the harbour and haggle! Our trip started at 25 euros and it went down the further down we walked. The guys are not too pushy and are friendly. Also had a massage and foam bath at the hotel. Highly recommend this, especially the foam bath if you never had one before. WiFi was free and excellent throughout the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk to the beach, quiet and clean, breakfast and dinner are provided, the meals are fresh and varied, and the staff is very friendly. It's a pity that their English is not very good and it is difficult to communicate.

Allocated a North facing room which I asked to change after a couple of nights as I spend quite a bit of time sat on the balcony and I enjoy some sun during the day. It was difficult to get the staff to understand and persuade them to agree to make the change. My lack of Turkish and their lack of English didn't help' Be aware that this hotel caters predominantly for or only to Germans, the staff mostly speak german and I didn't find anyone at all who spoke English other than the Guest relations person. Especially not the reception staff. This hotel provides numerous TV cannels for Germans and has 2 news channels for English speakers. Out of the 81 books I counted in their swap library there were only 2 in English and these were ones which I had donated in the past 5 days so don't expect to borrow or exchange books. Would I revisit? A huge no. Even if you paid me it wouldn't be enough to persuade me to undergo a really nasty experience that I paid quite a bit for. The location is great, the facilities are good but being the only English person staying there wasn't a pleasant experience, staff not understanding any English didn't help and I just wanted to go home after the first few days.

Honest review from a family perspective. It seems to me that people have too high expectations, and vote down, or low and vote up. From the reviews we were not that high in expectations, but we've had nothing short of a wonderful time here in start of November. I'll try to sum up something I felt I didn't know before arriving: All Inc: At beach: water, juices, coffee and one ice cream a day. No alcohols. Rest paid. At pool/restaurant/bar: water, juice, coffie, tea, beer, wine (red and white ok, rose not good to our taste). Vodka, campari, Malibu and some other local spirits. Food: buffé with what you expect from a buffé. Breakfast: serials, bread, spreads, egg, salads etc. Lunsh/dinner: salads, Turkish pizza, 4-6 dished with meat, one dish fish, pasta, rice. Always something to eat, but not the most exiting stuff. Lots of cakes. Snackbar (by pool side): nuggets, salads, Turkish pancake with cheese etc (very good) + (Children favorite food place). Clean rooms (we got main building). Aqua park, pool and Childers games very good.

This is a 5 star, classy hotel. It's not a typical tourist hotel. So if you would like a quiet relaxing stay, this hotel is for you. Kids are not usually allowed as guests, since the atmosphere should be kept calm. No running, shouting or screaming, so if you're a family with noisy, energetic kids this is not the place for you. The hotel is decorated in a classic manner, with elements such as Thibaut wallpaper, polished tiles, smith master crafted railings and a central atrium with glass murals. The craftmanship quality is really good and the hotel is kept nice and clean. Every room has its own unique expression, so you'll get a new experience each time you come here. The rooms is appartment sized (100-150 square metres). I would encourage you to use the spa with Hamam treatment. There's also a salt-water pool with filtered and ozone treated sea-water. There is a private beach and pier if you enjoy having sand under your feet or swimming in the ocean. The food is tasty and based on local dishes but made in a continental style. If you like wine, they have a good selection. Finally, I would love to thank Yunus and the team for providing a memorable and pleasant stay at your hotel and spa.

I had to pay extra money even though I booked already a double bed room. The view was out of this world! The breakfast was delicious. The staff were however cold and the bedsheets weren’t clean enough. My partner and I kept scratching our skins at night and we also found a roach in the room. T
