A lovely old fashioned B&B with modern touches and lots of character and comfort. Host Sue is very obliging and puts on a lovely breakfast. We couldn't have asked for more during our stay. The location is great with bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Response from Property: Thank you for staying! I hope wave rock lived up to your expectations! Safe travels home, Sue

Outstanding in every way, Sue the hostess provides gracious hospitality, spotless accommodation with unsurpassed attention to detail. Excellent Breakfast, with the coolest egg guillotine to conquer the boiled eggs. Would definitely recommend it. When visiting Albany. STAY AT DUNMOYLEN. HOUSE!!!

Dunmoylen is in a great location close to town and the harbour. Sue is a fantastic host and the room had a lovely deck with harbour view and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with lots of delicious options. Highly recommended.

Sue is an excellent host and we really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Sanctuary Room. The location is perfect for walking into Albany and the pubs and restaurants. The area is also easy to drive around, car essential to see the best sights. Sue provided a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit and bread, delicious. If staying for more than 2 nights would choose the front room which has a small balcony overlooking the lovely rose garde.

From the initial contact with Sue for availability, making my booking and then staying for a few nights, I can easily say everything about my experience at Dunmoylen House was excellent and allowed me to relax. Sue was helpful with my travelling questions. Stayed in the Sanctuary Room has a big comfortable bed in which I slept soundly, a good sized ensuite, a lounge chair with a tv and dvd player. It was my cocoon space after my full days. The big front room is a communal space to relax in and where Sue’s superb breakfast is hosted. Loved her fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs in particular. A fantastic bed and breakfast which suited me very well. Happy to recommend.

Our first time staying at Dunmoylen will hopefully be the first of many to come. The new owner, Sue, seems to have taken over what was already a well-loved establishment, and she has already made it her own and is making her mark on it in many great ways for the guests. Staying at Dunmoylen was, for us, like a home away from home. Sue makes you very welcome and relaxed without being at all intrusive, as sometimes happens with B&B owners. The room was attractive, clean and very comfortable, with all amenities; and the convenience of the nearby kitchenette was an unexpected bonus. The breakfast room doubling as a lounge area for most of the day/evening is very comfortable too. Breakfast was a highlight! The range of fresh fruit, breads for toast with preserves, cereals, yoghurts, juice etc really got the day off to a healthy start, and Sue offers a range of extra options to be requested the previous day. It was perfectly delicious, and enjoyed in the very comfortable breakfast room with a lovely window view. The time range available for breakfast should suit anyone, whether you like it earlier or a little later. Parking is safe and convenient, off the street and with plenty of room. Dunmoylen's location is walking distance to several cafes and restaurants and even the town centre. There is not a great deal of noise from passing traffic as the street does not lead anywhere particular. Overall, we would not bother to look elsewhere for accommodation for a couple in Albany, Sue's Dunmoyleh House fits the bill perfectly in every way!

We liked everything about our recent stay. The property is easy to find and the off street parking easy to use. It is just 5 minutes walk from the Albany CCD and shopping streets with easy access to restaurants and cafes. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. We loved the balcony and view out over the harbour. It was very easy to make a cup of tea in the shared kitchen and find an interesting magazine to read in the lounge. We really enjoyed our breakfast consisting of finely cut fruit, Bircher muesli and toast and jam in the mornings. We really appreciated the way Sue went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
Response from Property: I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay! I hope to see you again, Sue

We loved this charming house. Sue makes you feel at home right from the start. Brekkie was a treat with the room located at the front of the house overlooking the garden and with water views. Its an easy 10 min walk to the town centre. We stayed 2 nights but wished we stayed longer.

Absolutely loved our five days here. Gracious hostess, wonderful welcome. Delicious breakfasts in a quaint heritage house. Linen, China, fresh flowers from the glorious garden. After each day of exploring Albany and surrounds, especially the ANZAC Museum we would dine out then take a complimentary port in the lounge. Perfectly positioned to walk to various interesting scenic spots. One hint though. Choose room one or two. The so-called Sanctuary, is exactly that. OK for a sleepover which is all you need if a tourist. The ensuite was fine though. Stacks of hot water.
